Been with this bank for a while and they are getting worst by the day. Its always a hit and miss with the Customer Service on the Citiphone, god help you if you get connected to the Collections Department.

They could at least be a bit more delicate with their words but nope. As far as being a long standing customer with no records of missing payments etc etc, don't count on getting anything out of it.

Just chose another bank. Don't take any of their services. It might be easy at first but it will come back to you later on as the WORST financial decision that you have ever done.

One of the WORST banks I have ever encountered... The staff make you feel that you are their employee and not the other way around PLUS I can't believe that their duty hours are ONLY 5 hours per day and they have FRIDAY & SATURDAY OFF!!!!!! Even ministries don't have such working hours! How on earth would someone do any transaction or get services for only 5 hours a day ... I wish that the US embassy gets another bank to make payments for the VISA

Iam not sure how they are able to serve customers with only one person at the teller service counter. Waiting time is ridiculous. I came today for the second tine since they were not able to serve me yesterday. I waited for around hour and a half for nothing. Unprofessional customer service due to lack of resources.

My account has 20 dinars and .220 fils
On 12 November, a jailbreak was sent that 10 dinars were deducted from my account and contacted them and I was told that my account is current and that the lowest amount needed is in my account 500 dinars and they were told that it was my only account as if the loan was paid and the loan was paid one time after taking a loan from a second bank and I wanted to close The account but the employee told me I cannot because an amount will be deposited into your important account (difference)
They were informed about the topic and I was informed a report will be made in this regard, and on the same day I went to the branch (with a sword) and spoke with the supervisor in customer service and I was informed that a report was made on the phone and that, God willing, we will respond to you as soon as possible.
They were contacted more than once and each time they said they were approved, the amount will be returned to you after a week
And this talk was repeated more than 3 times
And 4 days ago, they were talking to them on the phone and I was told that the amount would be recovered after a week
We do not know their week. We will have one week (7 days), 7 months, or 7 years. God knows this ..
Or maybe the bank does not have 10 dinars to retrieve it in my account
For your information, there is no complaint number, as the spokesman claims on the phone

Always with online funds transfer i'm facing errors.. The amount will be hold and you should raise compliance and it will take 2 weeks if your are lucky to solve the problem if you are not lucky unknown how many days to solve it

I totally regret changing my account from HSBC to Citibank!!! They blocked my credit card without calling or notifying me and when I inquired about this they lied and told me that they called me! This has caused me a great inconvenience.Their rude staff members need thorough training on customer service as well. I'm a very disappointed and unhappy customer!!!!

Good and bad customer service. The team in place are doing their best ( esp. Tahir Ahmed ) but the waiting area design is really bad... It feels like an open market . People waiting their turn and can hear your conversation with the customer service agent so your banking, contact details and all is heard by people who are waiting . Its not confidential conversation and people they can jump in your turn as if it s an open market not an international bank.

Customer can behave badly and the bank encourages/ allows this kind of disrespectful behavior toward its employees!
I went waited for my turn and when It was my turn, some unhappy customer came while We talk and throw his paper at the employee and kept on shouting in front of everyone... not the kind of thing you want to see when you go to an international bank like Citibank.

Then I went to the teller I was filling the forms still and my number came before I made it to the counter someone jumped in my turn without a number... like why all banks have this system of waiting your turn and only in this bank customers allow themselves to do such a behavior ? Where is the branch manager ? Is there a one? I didn t see it like I do in NBB/ Ithmaar/ BBK.

On top this Citi bank does not grant you access to your account internationally, not in Ireland, UK, US. So what is the point ?

Great customer service team that is baring the abuse of unhappy and not educated customers.

If you go and can t avoid the bank make sure you set right next to the teller and not get busy with your phone/ filling form as people will set right next to the teller and jump in your turn if you don t get up quickly enough.

If you need to get a new card- good luck, it will take a while...

If you are requesting for settling CC/Loan, they even do not respond. They wanted the people to suffer any how to pay. If you talk about settling they don't even respond.

Planning to go out from CITI BANK and recommending everyone not to get stuck or enter with CITI BANK for any transaction.

Clearly they are forced to open thier doors for us.
I was there for a deposit that can only be done there. Almost 2 hours to be served by the tellers. Only 2 out of 4 on duty. And they have 2 speeds, dead slow and stop :) Not joking, most of the time only one customer is being served.
It seems the bank really doesn't want small customers. I think if you ask them they will agree, we don't want your business.
Or maybe the employees in that section are on disciplinary transfer.
Anyway, if you have to go there go early and bring a lunch box.

If you cannot put your Ramadan timings on your website after 4 weeks, don't expect people to trust you with their money. Your website showed timings of 8-4. After an hour in traffic I arrived at 2.40 to find you close at 2.30. Utterly pathetic for an organization of your size. This is what you'd expect from a small cornerstore, not an international bank. Whoever is responsible for promulgating working hours is not doing their job. I wonder how many others are the same.

Went there for American Tourist Visa payment for my fiance. I left having made the payment but I just want to comment thst they have horrible hours. BE ADVISED, THEY CLOSE AT 1300!

Also, besides the security guard who told us exactly where to go and what to do(very nice guy), the staff was not very friendly. The lady at reception desk acted like it was outrageous of me to ask her where to go for our business, not like she's sitting st the "reception desk" or anything...

Waiting almost 3 hours to be served by a bank teller is standard practice at this bank. Arrogant, unhelpful and unfriendly staff sitting around doing nothing, smirking, laughing at and ignoring the huge numbers of customers waiting to be served, on a daily basis. Only 3 bank tellers are available to serve huge lines of customers, although usually only 1-2 workers maximum actually work, ....that's when they can ever be bothered. Horrendous customer service both at the branch and also over the phone. This bank lies on a regular basis and has total contempt for its customers. Conflicting information given over the phone and by workers at the branch. In short, this is the worst bank I have ever dealt with in my life. Do yourself a big favor and avoid this dreadful bank at all times. Having said that, the staff will be happy as every time they lose a customer, it means less work for them to do, so they will have even more time to sit around and do nothing and continue to ignore customers. This terrible bank also has extremely short working hours and closes at 1pm every day. The poor staff must be exhausted from spending each and every day ignoring and avoiding customers, and need to close early!
