Always stay at Circus Circus every time I come to Vegas, I'm usually here 3 times a year spent the 7 birthdays here treated very very nice here
I went to go to the McDonald s in the hotel for a snack later at night and I forgot my room key in the room so I tried calling the front desk on my phone and no one answered so I just went down to the lobby and was sent to talk to the manager on duty to get a room key and this manager should not have any sort of power in this hotel. She treated me extremely rude and like I didn t matter and that I was a waste of her time. While she was supposed to be helping me, she called other coworkers and continually was talking to coworkers about her lunch schedule. Which in turn made me extremely upset because she then had to keep re asking me questions that she already asked. My stay at the circus circus was great until this staff member treated me so badly.
-sincerely, disappointed
It's old and older same decore from the 80's when I was a kid. Rooms are dated nothing special. Plenty to do for kids though, gets way crowded on the weekends not so bad during the week. Multiple placed to stay and multiple price points. Over all if you are looking for a cheap price that's not a motel in Vegas here it is
Room was nice, the Adventure dome was awesome. Fun for all ages! I do wish parking was a little less confusing, I didnt know where to park to get to the hotel or the dome area.
Cool place for the whole family! We enjoyed our stay. Great restaurants and shops for adults and kids and a cool casino floor! The indoor amusement park was also very cool.
Value for money, our room was clean each day and parking was really convenient .
Older casino, great midway games and adventure dome for kids
Affordable, but run down. Curently quite isolated from other strip attractions due to surrounding construction projects.
It was a nice hotel. Just need new plumbing. But great hotel other wise
Haven't been here since I was 9! So much fun for my 39th birthday!
Great for families.. Rooms can be improved.. Lot of action, casinos, kids games, circus.. you can spend 1-2 days inside the hotel itself..
A little dingy but the slots are looooose! Sunday eve the place is a ghost town-
Rooms super clean for it to be an older hotel. Must be a huge promotion never experienced lines all around the corner for checkin but other than that great stay for free. Great place to have the kids upstairs to run around and play games and shows every hour
NJOYN LAS VEGAS BREAKFAST AT FREMONT HOTEL N CASINO EGGS BACON SAUSAGE RICE -LIVIN MY BEST LIFE2019
Had an awesome experience enjoyed every moment. Thank you
This is a great hotel if you want to be off the main strip. The midway and arcade were lots of fun, and it's convenient that the Big Bus tour starts and ends here.
We do NOT go to a real circus. I wish they would stress the issue of animal cruelty at the real circus. This was amazing, pure talent!!! Worth the wait.
When i got this assignment i was hoping there'll be more gambling
Dirty, outdated, to many kids, overpriced rooms, mediocre staff upselling false experience. Was hesitant to give any stars.
Great and fun time for the family. Older casino hotel but great times with kids and family.
Fun if you have kids. The entertainment is very impressive. A lot of carnival games.
Too crowded during check out time. 45 min wait for the elevators. So we took 17 some odd flights of stairs and ended up outside on the side of the hotel but across the street from the main entrance. The rooms were big and nice, and the casino was cool we won our money back plus a little more.
Ot has lost a lot of its sparkle it had only decades ago!
my daughter enjoyed the Adventuredome the hotel itself is a little outdated can definitely have a lot of overhaul done to it but otherwise it's good for the children lot of options and lots of rides it would be nice if they added some new stuff so but like I said the hotel is self is really aged really old but itself it would not be too bad if they just did some remodeling update
The room I rented had rusty washers sticking out the wall.. The Vince Neil restaurant food is blane. I order fajitas and they brought out huge cubes of steak like it was made for beef Stu.
It s a tight squeeze in the parking lot so be careful getting in and out of your vehicles.
The amusement area under the dome is a well ventilated facility for families to enjoy rides and the circus atmosphere.
Had a great time only thing I can say is that should tell ppl to sell there key on the elevator. I had to tell some one how to use the elevator every time I got on it
old renovated not bad for a quick turnaround trip like a day, and if price is right
Check in was fast, easy and the lady was awesome. Upon entering our room noticed right off that we didnt have enough towels for the 4 of us. If u book for 4 people please have towels available. The smoke detector is outdated, discolored and probably needed to be changed 10 yrs ago. Ice bucket has a big crack on the bottom of it, so wasn't able to keep ice in our bucket without it getting everywhere. Desk chair and blankets on the bed have stains on them. The night stand between both beds, broken. This place really needs to be updated, so not what I remembered growing up. Pool and slides, the kids loved. MGM, please think about upgrading your property. Resort fees need to be lowered for this property if your not going to upgrade rooms and the casino. Needs at least new paint, carpet and new furniture in the rooms.
Pretty nice family hotel in Vegas. Stayed for 4 nights and went through 8 remotes all of which didn't work for the TV in the room.
The amusement park in the dome was a tone of fun for my two nieces. The little shops in the hotel are nice but way too over priced, in my opinion. The buffet is really nice with food being turned out pretty quickly. I wish they had more meats but that's just me.
A perfect hotel for people with kids. My children had lots of fun at the pool and splash zone. The arcade games and circus acts were a plus for them and the slot machines for my husband. The McDonald's on the arcade level is another story. All I have to say is I would give them 1 star.
Stayed in the old casino tower, which shows its age, the buffet was mediocre for Vegas, the rooms were spacious but way outdated, the wall paper was bubbling and cracks in the walls were not what I was expecting. But it was located at the end of the strip, cheap, easy to get in and out of parking lot and the pool slides closed way too early. Allowed to park our utility Trailer without paying for an RV spot. The front desk was great. The woman who helped me was helpful and knowledgable. Next time we will not stay in the Tower but closer to the pool.
During the week perfect spot if you're touring as all tour operators pick up there. Room was clean, big and excellent bathroom.
I was only there for a little bit, but it was super fun. Recommended for family's. If you want fun go to the adventuredome. There are baby rides then there are the big boy rides. Come see for your self!
Went in June right after Vegas reopened. Everything was super clean and saw staff cleaning and wiping down everything the whole time. Checked temps when came in and gave complimentary masks. The pool and adventuredome were both open. Had a great stay. The only thing was not a lot of food selections but we would come back.
Run down casino and hotel. Definitely in need of some serious upgrades.
This review is for the adventure dome. This place should definitely not be open during this pandemic. I was there on Thursday and honestly not once did I see any employee wiping down any surface, equipment nor ride down. 6ft distance not followed and employees did nothing about it. I myself had to ask some kids to please give me my space and they started insulting me. My husband informed the employee about them not keeping distance and she did nothing . So my husband looked for management. Close them down during this pandemic is what needs to be done
Clean spacious room, NO pen and note pad, NO coffee maker. Friendly front desk agents. Gave me discounted extended day stay without changing room. FREE PARKING. Love their casino
It wassss amazing staff was really nice and price was great
This place is HUGE! The adventure land they have for kids is impressive to say the least! We spend a good full two day there with the kids. Then the actual circus they have for the kids is a bit cheesy but we love it and their are carnival games all around as well as an arcade in the same area. Everything in the casino is a little out dated but it's still a good place to have an awesome time. It's not to far from the Stratosphere for a little site seeing.
Had a very relaxing and enjoyable spa day here followed by lunch by the little pool. Highly recommend, and will definitely schedule a visit every time we are here for an annual event we attend.
The rooms are dingy. Pool and jacuzzi closed part of the year.
Great customer service! Great atmosphere plus booze!
Great Hotel plenty to do fun. Family. Friends. Thanks for all you do
The hotel itself was fun and interesting. The clowns, acrobats, and theme park were fantastic. The Manor where I stayed was inexpensive and comfortable, with heating and air conditioning, and a television. The buffet if very expensive, and kind of disappointing, but the Midway was fantastic. The pool was nice as well, with slides, and a kiddie pool, and a hot tub. If the buffet doesn't suit you there is a McDonald's, along with plenty of shops to buy food. While I can't comment much about the casino, it seemed fairly orderly and clean. There is a smoking area near the casino, along with a pizza place. It's very nice considering the price and everything is just a short walk away. 10/10 would recommend for families.
A lot of people looked at us like we were crazy for staying at Circus Circus. The place is not bad at all, lots of fun things for the kids and parents to do. We went during the peak season and it was packed, we are certainly not used to that. Didn't matter we enjoyed the closeness of the gaming to the kid play areas and the amount of differences experiences available. Easy to uber to other attractions on the stirp.
Circus Circus is a beautiful hotel and casino place,
..The picture below is from hotel window view
Fun place to take kids that are visiting.
The Midway games use a card system now and honestly, I miss the old way of putting cash down. It's also a lot more expensive. You just don't realize it because you're using "points"
All the employees at Midway were really nice. I saw a mix of young and old people enjoying their time.
Lots and lots of armed police presence. The hotel itself is very old and probably due for an update. It's a little ghetto and they have this weird bazaar stretch with random vendors.
Plus side is parking is free.
Good hotel to stay, it was pretty much crowded maybe due to Thanksgiving weekend. Room was big enough but few basic things like table lamp light, bath curtain were missing. Had to call room service and got those fixed.
It was a good rate for a room on the strip. They are now charging a resort fee that is almost as much as the room to use the pool/splash Park area. The Circus area I think should be separated from the main casino floor as it is smokey smelling.
Its definitely a fun place for everyone but just needs to be updated
Love love love circus circus....in my way now to have tons of fun!!!! It's my second home!!!
The rooms were really clean. I hardly smelled smoke at all. Only thing is the hotel is kind of far away from everything on the strip so be prepared to either drive to the strip take Uber or take a very long walk.
My first time to Vegas. The hotel was very clean and beautiful. No problems checking in they were more than accommodating with My service dog. Over all great experience. Id stay here again.
The fair area upstairs was great for kids..kids loved it..
This was exactly the dystopian experience I wanted from Las Vegas. I would have given it more stars except for the fact that the place had a unnecessary number of uniformed police officers on the casino floor. Big shout out to the custodian single handedly vacuuming the entire big top with a vacuum from the 1980's
I always like circus circus because my kids love the kids play area - Midway. This is the only place where kids really enjoy, we all enjoy other place though. The distance from the most happening place, the strip, is a disadvantage though. Why I gave only three stars? This is because of manor tower that they have. While booking, if you don t know circus circus already, you will go with a good price room. You will only know during check in that the building is very far from the hotel/casino. And that doesn t look like the great hotel as well. Eventually you will have to pay extra to upgrade the rooms.
Great place to hang out with or without kids. Adventure dome is great !!!
Very dirty and horrible customer service. We had to switch rooms two different times because the rooms we got were not acceptable. The first room had hair all over the bathroom floor and the extra lock/deadbolt on the door was broken off completely. The second room was just as dirty and it was extremely hot. We tried controlling the temperature but it appeared broken. We spoke with a manager at the front desk and she said she would refund the resort fee payment. However, when we checked out in the morning, there was nothing to indicate that the fee was supposed to be refunded to us.
I don't know if it was bad luck but the room wasn't really cleaned when we got there. The carpet was very dirty. The quality is not good. You get what you paid. I rather stay in another hotel next time visit Vegas.
It was very nice experience. Casino is quite big. Rooms are very spacious..loved a lot
Great place to bring the kids! I think kids 3-13 would really enjoy it!
Fun for small kids..excellent choice of games..i even won on the machines
Adequate lodging. Casino is showing wear, but we still love the old casinos. Miss Stardust and the Riviera. Lots of kids in the hotel.
Everything here is a little dated but the prices might fit your budget somewhat more than other places. The staff were outstanding. It is also a bit far from most of the action on the rest of the strip. Free parking is a definite plus.
10 minutes at the slot machines and woooosh, there went $40! There are soooo many casinos in Vegas, you'd think the machines could be a little seductive, with a few small winnings at the nickle machines!!
I would have thought they would have had people disinfecting the elevators ,machines common areas as people would leave the area. Nope it was packed and not clean.
You gotta love the Circus Circus for being just what it is!! Fun place to explore, fun place to eat, and a fun place to gamble. Kid friendly also!! Even if you don't stay here, stop by like we did and spend a few bucks to keep the place going! You can enjoy yourself without feeling like you are being judged (like at nearly all the other casinos on the strip). Everyone we met or crossed paths with were having a ball!!! I'd love to see Circus Circus keep going for many decades to come! (That said, MGM should spend a few bucks on restoring this gem!)
I loved this hotel me and my family had such a blast here we went to the adventure dome and the splash pad overall it is a great hotel
Definitely dated. Hotel wasn t dirty, but weathered. Check in wasn t to long a wait despite the long line.
Just was there to sleep so never really checked out the pool or amenities.
Gift shops were very reasonable for those buying sovereigns.
The Steak House was an excellent restaurant and a full meal wasn t cheap, but definitely as good as Gibson s if not better and more affordable. Service was also, excellent.
The breakfast we got free because of comp points. I was happy to have my made to order omelette as well as fresh fruit.
Our room was clean, but definitely in need of a make over. I did my bed bug check as I even do at the Hyatt and found no evidence of any unwelcome visitors or blood suckers. The bathroom dated, but clean.
We didn t care there was no refrigerator or coffee maker as we only slept there and spent our time checking out the strip as well as Fremont Street.
Bus passes are reasonable and for 8 dollars good for 24 hrs covering the strip and down town. So it didn t matter if we weren t in the middle of the strip as walking or buses got you were you needed to go.
If you re looking for an upscale hotel circus circus isn t the hotel for you.
It s less costly then the upscale hotels and doesn t have all the bells and whistles, but it fine to sleep at.
It s nostalgic and one of the last of the original strip hotels.
It s kid friendly for families.
If your just looking for a bed to rest your head and not luxury it s ok. If you are looking for upscale accommodations and a modern room this isn t the place for you.
I know one day an update will have to be done or a makeover on circus circus, but I guarantee when that is in the works the price will go up with the updates.
So those knocking circus circus you get what you pay for. We were in the casino tower and it served its purpose for us to sleep and shower.
Heck you re on vacation. I don t know about others, but I don t spend my vacation in my room.
Truth is I expected it to be run down and would provide shelter while I had a cigarette. Well to my surprise the place is clean, has a huge selection of slots (much more than I thought and the staff is friendly and attentive. I'll certainly be returning.
Great place! Great price! Very friendly and helpful staff. Many things to do and see; includes restaurants inside :)
Good old hotel. The Casino will have the musty smell. No complimentary breakfast. Decent hotel if u just want to sleep at night.
The staff was friendly and the bed was awesome. But the people staying at the hotel were ghetto. Almost got into it a few time from rude adults. Not to mention unruly kids. My mom would have wooped us for acting like most of the kids running around. Won't be staying there again.
The hotel was rundown the elevator got stuck and to top it off we had a truck and trailer which they wouldn't let us leave in the parking lot we were originally told to park in so after a citation they were going to make us move it 3 blocks away. The management was rude and snotty we will not be back and will not recommend it to anyone
Good hotel with economy price rooms. Duce ride very near for strip access.
Nice place, I want to come back and play old games!!!!
I was here 30 years ago, I gave it 5 Stars then. It needs upgrading and I was a bit disappointed. especially since it is not cheap. I have stayed in less expensive hotels, who were modern, had a ciffee maker in the rom and included a warm breakfast.
Loved it as a kid. That was like the 1970's! Was only the big top tent back in the day. Obviously has grown immensely. It's still the best place to visit with the kids. It is a bit crowded at times. They made the parking structures small like downtown instead of the strip.
Good place if you have kids . Games at the casino is not cheap .. extra pricy
Not near any strip attractions or activities but there's the gambling games downstairs
Close to the strip and for a reasonable price smells a little when coming to check in but rooms are cheap and clean not bad for the family or a few days you staying in Vegas.
Has a pool, okay buffet, amsument park and everything you could need inside
When I first arrived, check in was smooth and took less than five minutes. I booked a room inside the casino hotel, as they do have rooms available outside of the casino as well. When I went to my room it was a disaster, it looked as if someone just checked out and it was never cleaned. I was beyond upset that the lady at the front desk had me waste my time going to a room that wasn't suitable to sleep in. So I went back to the front desk and requested another room after explaining the issue with the first room. The second room was good, but I only gave them three stars instead of five because first impressions are everything and I was far from impress when entering the first room. I personally won't bother to book another room there, but that's just me.
I love Circus Circus. I'm a 40 something child and a Carny. I can't get enough of the midway games and shows. We brought our granddaughter again this year and the game operators were so sweet to her. The shows were so fun to watch. My daughter was captivated by the Moroccan acrobats. The ride operators at the Adventure Dome treated our granddaughter with so much kindness. She really enjoyed the Miner Mike ride. I also need to give a quick shout out to the light up shoe people. They went out of their way to find the right size for my daughter. The next day these shoes broke. When we took them back to the store they switched them right out with no hassles at all. Thank you Circus Circus for giving us such an awesome vacation. We'll be back next year!
Loved the amusements and the service is impeccable.
It was fun, but the resort fee is a real killer. Smell like smoke once you get into the Casino. The new addition to the pool was nice. The West Casino Hotel Tower bathtub was pretty small and dangerously high and the toilet seat was higher-than-average. Their bathroom was a decent size but I wish they could have utilize the space more wisely. Overall it was an ok experience but I wish that was better.
Circus Circus is the place that I bring the kids for the Dome activities the show is always great to watch and the kids love it the staff at Circus Circus is really nice they just really need to really upgrade there Casino carpet on the floors throughout the casino inside of the rooms they just need to fix it up
