Garbage omelet. Awesome service. And don't forget pie.
Great food, fantastic service. French toast was fantastic.
Yummy garbage! :-) Lol...The owner is great and so is the food ambiance and the service- I love the nostalgic feel!
Very small cozy place. The staff are very personable. The garbage is the best. Best garbage in town. I rarely give 5 stars but this establishment more than earns it.
Burnt bacon, burnt taters, good eggs toast, intimate
Husband introduced me to Cindy's Diner a few years ago and I have lived in Fort Wayne all my life it's it's from 15 to 20 people at a time it is just a nice small place to sit have some food that taste great and the employees are wonderful
Nothing special about this this. Food is so so, service is ok, and the place is super small.
A Fort Wayne staple for breakfast. Be careful not to park in the apartment complex spots. You will be towed.
Staff was Great... But my lunch was not.
I was recommended the Patty melt by a regular that sound's like he's there daily.
His comment was just hope your not kissing anyone later...
For those that don't know this is Small place. Maybe a 16 top rounded bar eating area. Took 20 min to get my food.
The burger patty was less than a 1/4" thick and way smaller than the sandwich bread it was served on. Obviously prepare & cooked to death. It was either a 90/10 mix or just well well. Larry as you'll see from my pic's they must of been almost out of onion's as I got a few slices.
BUT LOOK HOW MUCH DRY EMPTY BREAD I HAD ON BOTH 1/2'S... FOR $5.20
My onion ring's were ok for frozen. For the $8.50 which was $11 with my tip no thanks not again
Great diner experience. Food was excellent.
Staff was very nice
Pretty good. It's a small place and not fancy, but they make a good burger.
Awesome!!! Loved the nostalgia of this place and the service.
I would give 5 stars, but I'll explain why I'm not in a bit.
The wife and I love this place. It's cozy, staff are friendly, food is great, and donuts are delicious.
But....we only went there in Sundays. And now they're closed on Sundays. And now I can't get my garbage with jalepenos on Sunday morning. And that's why I'm keeping a star.
Cindy's, why are you closed on Sundays???
It's good food, you watch them make it, and the simplicity about it is very attractive. I will be going back :)
Cute, wonderful little diner with a big heart and big helpings.
Highly recommend! I ordered the "garbage" and coffee, and it was delicious! The atmosphere is cozy and unique, and the staff is very friendly!
Great service and food. It was my first time there and I have lived in Fort Wayne 19 years now. Since I left yesterday I have recommended it to a few friends.
Our first time at Cindy's Diner. We loved the breakfast and the great fellowship with the other patrons. Will be back soon and want to try the Lunch menu.
Great service and great food! The waitress had to make food and take orders all by her self and she did an amazing job! She was super friendly.
Good food, fair price. Not a huge selection though.
Such a cute, delicious gem! I stayed in town an extra day to go here with my friend after she raved about it. So glad I did!
Great prices. Definitely a Fort Wayne staple. Love it.
I was hungry, and downtown Ft Wayne
Went to Cindy's Diner. WOW GREAT FOOD, SMALL PLACE, EXCELLENT SERVICE. Hats off to them great job
Truly a legend that keeps Fort Wayne a small Town.. Great Food and friendly service.
Fascinating Real Deal Diner! Fun place to sit and enjoy watching the short-order cook work. Surprised at the many options on the menu. I had the breaded pork tenderloin and onion rings which were good.
Great little diner. Good coffee easy downtown location.
Why can be said about this place that hasn't already?? It's a Fort Wayne treasure. Consistent, comforting and reasonable food!
Always get great service and food. Always fun and friendly
Love this place. Any time I go to fort Wayne.
This is where I eat at. Cozy environment, friendly staff always feel at home. Food is just awesome
Exactly what you expect from a diner: tasty food, cozy atmosphere, and staff that feel like family.
Fun place for breakfast...people are very friendly. Come early to beat the crowd.
Great place for a quick bite that's home cooked. You can tell the owner has a strong following. I'm looking forward to going back when we're able.
Love this place. Great food, great service and great camaraderie among diners.
This is a great place within a short walk of the convention center and library. It is a true diner. There is only seating at the counter, so if you were looking for a table, keep looking. Food was great and cooked to order. I had an omelet, and my wife had "garbage" (read the menu) which was ample for her. They make donuts onsite, but you have to get there early if you want any of those. Many locals eat there and that is a great testimony to food and service.
Amazing prices, great service, and the best eggs I've ever had! I'd give 6 stars if I could!
This place is very small. I walked in and ordered coffee, they ignored my order and took the order of the people behind me and a family that had just walked in the door. I stood there for about 10 minutes and asked the guy taking orders if he was going to take my order because the people he was helping came after me. He looked up and completely ignored me again. I just walked out.
Long time retro diner in the heart of Ft Wayne! Good breakfasts and closes after lunchtime. Limited seating inside at their wrap around counter with al fresco tables outside.
Enjoyed a nice breakfast in this cozy diner. Counter only seating makes for great conversations. The coffee is good and the eggs were made perfectly. Relatively inexpensive dining with early hours.
Love this hometown diner. It's a tradition that we come here before the 3 Rivers parade. Yummy goodness
They are consistent. The food is the same every time I visit.
If you're in Fort Wayne you gotta check out Cindy's. It's quaint.cozy and has excellent food! Makes you feel like your eating back in the 1950s.
Cute little diner excellent service waitress was very hospitable and I ordered the garbage but that stuff was awesome a 1/2 order was more than I could eat unless your starving don't get the full order
Such a cool little place. Very popular spot. Yummy food and great conversation
amazing, every single time. You might think you're having a bad morning, walk in here and it'll be changed i promise. The servers are quick, accurate and friendly. The food is not only tasty but greatly priced, especially for being in the heart of Fort Wayne. Love love love.
Stopped by Cindy's for breakfast while staying downtown. It's been a icon of Ft Wayne downtown for over 50 years. I had the " Classic" Garbage omelette which was delicious and wife had poached eggs on toast. Only sitting is at counter which sits about 18 people. My hats off to the 3 people working here.
I eat there every time I visit Fort Wayne. I tell all of my friends to try their breakfast specialty.
I have ordered the same thing for over 20 years. The garbage is eggscellent!! Would like to try biscuits and gravy one day and maybe a bacon cheeseburger.
Excellent food, great service, often crowded, sometimes slow.
A Fort Wayne institution, serving the world 15 people at a time
The food was great, enjoyed our time in Fort Wayne Indiana. The people are nice and loved the breakfast.
Cindy's is one of my top Fort Wayne spots to visit. While there is only counter seating, the customers are very kind to each other and will offer to scoot down a stool or two so you can sit with the rest of your party. The staff is very friendly! The breakfast item to order is "Garbage" - a scrambled breakfast casserole.
Quite the smell place, but I love it. Not only if the food great the owner is extremely kind as are the employees. If you can find a seat you should definitely eat here! I think they do to go as well.
I really love this place for so many reasons... Angie is great, the place is vintage and way cool, the food is yummy. A must have place to go for both locals and visitors.
Comfortable, cozy and friendly. The food is quite good and reminds me of yesteryear days.
Good food, great service! Server helped me select an option with just what I was asking for!
Classic tiny diner has surprisingly decent variety, with above average quality.
Small dinner (be ready to wait sometimes!), great breakfast food.
Great way to meet the locals in a casual dinning experience. Food is hot off the griddle and priced right!
