Cinémathèque de Toulouse Review

It's not just an institution dedicated to the memory of the cinema. It's not just a cinematheque in the sense that most people hear it (boring cinema that passes movies that nobody wants to see).

They have a varied and daring programming (their programming in horror movies and B & Z series for example is generally recommended).



And most importantly, they do it in a good-natured way. The staff is welcoming, far from the image of greyish intellectuals that I often hear my ears.

In addition, the setting is very pleasant, with its small paved courtyard and interior decoration dedicated, say, not just the movies that have marked the history of cinema (to quote the oldest independent film company).

We went to cinematography as part of the outdoor cinema, as they watched many cult movies like
E. T or the night of the undead. For lovers of old movies c, is really interesting, you just have to provide a sweater.

Magic place to discover or rediscover the cinema from here and elsewhere, without popcorn or advertising. There are retrospectives, festivals, meetings with directors, actors ... I love it.

Try the outdoor screenings. A large program during the summer months that punctuated the summer with magical moments.

A first outdoor cinema experience. We are won over and will be back with pleasure!

I only watched a movie outdoor (the untouchables). The atmosphere was great, the chairs not really comfortable unfortunately... what made me put 5 star and not 4 was the awesome presentation, before the movie, I don t know much about cinematographic culture but it was still really interesting !

Great movies, including air bread on summer evenings. The place is great in the heart of downtown Toulouse is really cool

I only went inside but the room is great! To come back for the outside with the food trucks

I go there regularly, for the programming, the place, the outdoor sessions in the summer! Very very nice!

I went to the cinematheque in Toulouse for the Cine Latino festival, myself being Ecuadorian, I had to attend: p. I particularly loved the concerts organized by the cinematheque, where I discovered a very good group of funk: Old School Funky Family, a complete treat!

What a cold welcome! The smile must be optional when purchasing cinema tickets ...
Despite the good weather, the outdoor projection was not planned before July and therefore it was apparently not planned to adapt to the weather, even if it would have been a very good idea!
The indoor movie theater is very nondescript.

It's a very good cinema which offers very good films from all eras. They also offer outdoor sessions, too bad I've never tried that. The session tickets are not too expensive. In addition, it is super well located in the city center

The atmosphere is great, the festivals, the programming etc magnificent. I like a lady (the brunette) who is sometimes at the cash desk, she gives us complete and clear information. Very kind.

Nice place where a large number of people gather, especially young people. Films in original version of the country of origin. There are usually music concerts from different countries and places. Very cozy

This place is so nice, I only went there once, and it was to see E.T in outdoor session. It smelled good humor for miles around, people were cool, we had a little speech on the history of the film just before.

In short, I recommend what!

Black and white films broadcast in the open air, in the deckchairs in the first row, half lying with their heads raised towards (the stars) the screen!
In case of bad weather they opt for the fallback solution to return to the room ...

A lot of events are organized and cult movies are broadcast outdoors during the summer. A lively and welcoming place.

A nice place for movies that is out of the ordinary I spend from time to time

Nice movie, the seats are comfortable, quite a big saal. Funny toys in the foyer, nice staff. Our digital ticket didn't work but they didn't make a problem out of it. However the audience was insupportable. There was an old guy sitting next to us who were making noises throughout the whole film and also put his teeth out of his mouth and back.

Very friendly and friendly atmosphere, library very complete cinematographically speaking and very good summer session this year ... Too bad their programming runs a little round during the rest of the year ...

Friendly and warm place except the completely casual behavior of a welcoming lady.

Everything is great atmosphere music ... Except the trainer Garcia house that offers fried calamari that are not. These are pork intestines with squid-flavored fry. Scandalous. Change supplier or be more demanding.

Yes it is the film library. But frankly 7 the night session outdoors is expensive. And no disabled rate for the night. After the annual program is fine.

Only went here for a drink as Spanish film festival was on. Tapas looked good and busy place

To be rejected for 15 minutes late with the children the day before Christmas (and the tickets already bought) it is done. In short, I would stay at the classic cinemas more comprehensive with families.
