Please DO NOT send your child to CICS BASIL campus...

Please DO NOT send your child to CICS BASIL campus. The administration department Dean Dan Davis, and director Mrs.Flood is very unprofessional. They do not know how to talk to parents about their child issues. I am currently going through a situation with them now. I inform a staff member Ms.Warren about my child may need special bathroom break in January 2014 and her homeroom teacher. My daughter gets two days suspension and one day in house for leaving the classroom after asking her teacher if she could. And even the teacher told me afterwards that she did say she needed to go badly, but she had to wait. Ladies, you already know at a certain age you go through the changes and need special breaks. Ok, so after that I went to the school 3/20/14 to speak with the Dean outside of the building because they BAN me. And they told me to drop my daughter off a block down and she can walk. I wanted to know why my daughter receive two days in house and was missing class. Long story short I was arrested. My daughter will not be attending this school after June.

My Son has grown a lot in this school.

My Son has grown a lot in this school.
He attended in 2013 1st grade.until 2nd
He reads at a 3-4 grd level.
And what inspired me about this particular school was my neighbors and church members went here as children and I always said my Child will go here one day, they work with the students in a way that most schools don't.
I recommended this school to a lot of ppl.
My son needed to be challenged becausehe is an over acachiever. I Love the teachers , the discipline, the way it feels like your child is being cared for as well as taught at a second home. I've volunteered plenty of times, set with the class to get a field of what my child goes through on the daily.trips are educational, and fun. Sadly my son and I hv moved and he will not be attending this 15-16 school year. But I'll never forget them even through our ups and downs. My Child loved it here and he gained a lot.

My child will be promoted to first grade Friday, June 19, 2015. After receiving the results of her NWEA test scores, I was very intrigued to find out that she was on a second grade level in reading and math. She has two teachers in her class, Ms. Janowski and Ms. Reimer. It is my opinion that these two are excellent teachers. They are very open and honest with the parents regarding their child/ children. I have not had any problems with this school or the staff. I love the schools general concept from K-8th grade (COLLEGE, COLLEGE, COLLEGE). Each class is listed by Universities, for instances my child is in Purdue University. The School and teachers motivate my daughter to strive for success. I would personally recommend this school to any parent.
