The staff is amazing and the food was fresh, and great portion and simply tasty. Well done. It was a really hot day to eat outside in the patio, and but due to current conditions of covid is totally acceptable.

Pretty good Italian food. The design of the restaurant is very nice. The meatballs are pretty good, the pizza is delicious and the chocolate cake is splendid. Great customer service.
Wonderful restaurant, and very tolerant of the two young children we had with us (crayons and paper provided). Pasta dishes were excellent, as were the desserts. Parking is sort of a challenge in the area, but it's close to the mission, which was our afternoon destination.
This is our fourth stop there. We stopped on our way home from San Diego. We've loved it in the past, this time the service was not attentive. The food is good.

I m not the biggest fan of the remodel (noisy and cold compared to the cozy previous decor), but the food and service are still worth coming back for. Can t beat the patio, and the new covers and heaters expand the usability very nicely.

My husband and I ordered 2 glasses of wine, a gluten free pizza and dinner salad. The server brought our wine and our dinner salad which we were splitting as a first course. Once we were finished with our salad and awaiting our pizza, we were told that the kitchen had just informed our server that they were out of gluten free crust and would we like to see there menu again? Really? And what, wait another 20+ minutes for a meal to be made? We opted for a quick bowl of soup which was just ok. There way no offer to comp anything for our lack of a dinner, even though our server brought it to the managers attention. On the way out, my husband talked to the manager who was unsympathetic and his only solution was to talk with to the kitchen later. We've been to this restaurant several times but will not be back again.
I have been a loyal customer of Ciao Pasta for a long time. I loved the ambiance and the food. However, withing the past couple of months the quality has been lowered. I visited the restaurant about a month ago with some friends and we got pizzas, pasta, and some appetizers. The ones that had the pizza got food poisoning , a really bad food poisoning. I believe the meat on the pizza (prosciutto) was bad, that is the only thing that could give us the food poising on the pizza. Since I am a loyal customer to this restaurant I decided to give it another chance, and went to eat there couple days ago. Boy let me tell you again, me and my BF got FOOD POISONED AGAIN!!!! YES AGAIN!!! You may wonder why I went to this restaurant again , and the only reason was I wanted to give it another try. But I will never go back here again. I am so disappointed with the quality of this restaurant, please check your food and make sure you don'y poison your customers.
This is a great restaurant, with great service, nice ambience and above all, great food. There are a few Italian restaurants in our area, but all of them disappointing. They could learn a thing or two from Ciao Pasta.

Terrible food and service. Owner is crazy. I'll never go here again. I was insulted by the owner and asked to leave because we weren't ordering enough food to cover his costs. What kind of customer service is that? AVOID this place.

This place use to be nice to go to, we use to go all the time but now they went from a 4 page menu to a 1 page menu, not much to choose from. I had a small portion of pasta for 18 dollars and dessert was 9 dollars for a small sliver. We paid 78 dollars and left hungry. Ciao, ciao pasta that's to bad

Great food, indoor and alfresco dining, nice wine list and friendly service. Prices seemed moderate. A great Saturday lunch. Salmon and pasta with a glass of salmon creek chardonnay.
The chicken in the fettuccini alfredo was moist and delicious. The ravioli was super good as well. Definitely don't skip on the filling

We have been coming to Ciao for over 20 years. When our children were young they always wanted to go to Ciao for their birthday dinners and some things never change. Last night we went to celebrate my son and his wife's birthdays. Sure, the owner Pasquale may have repainted and remodeled the interior but luckily the food is still incredible thanks to their long time chef Guillermo. Another awesome experience.
Our daughters birthday is next week, I'm really hoping she wants to go to her favorite birthday restaurant, Ciao !!

Food was ok but service was awful. We had a birthday party of 8 and had to keep flagging down our waitress who keep forgetting appetizers and drinks. Then when we cut the cake they brought plates but not forks.

Enjoyed a nice evening dinner on their outdoor patio with social distancing. Our waiter was fantastic and made great recommendations. The bread with olive tapenade dip was amazing. I didn t think I was that hungry, but I couldn t stop myself from eating a little more before our appetizer of caprese- and the combination of tomatoes, mozzarella, and basil was perfect, with just enough salt.
For the entree, we decided to share the pappardelle pasta with the truffle mushrooms and cream sauce. It was so delicious and very filling, so it was the perfect amount to share with the appetizer. We were tempted by the cannolis for dessert, but were simply too full. Highly recommend this place.

My daughter ordered Lobster Ravioli, where is the Lobster. If you order a Vodca with Cranberry JUICE they charge extra for drink mix?? REALLY. We asked for Balsamic Vinegar to dip bread our bread in, because the dip they tasted rancid
Which never arrived. Our Calamari Frita was very greasy. So all and all not our best dinner. It used to be a good restaurant, we will not return.
This place is very good. We had the lasagna and the recotte and both were delicious.
