First time there and the classy chubby burger was amazing!! So good.

If you haven't ate a Burger there in about 6 months don't it was pretty decent now you go across the street to Whataburger and get a much better hamburger and take one tenth of the time it took for us to get our burgers. The meat was so thin I had to look for it three times the jalapeno cornbread sticks I ordered was the very same I'll buy at Walmart sorry to be so mean but wow

If you have a "Bucket List" put this place on it!!! The burgers here are amazing and dont you dare put catsup on those fries, they are absolutely delicious as is. Its been too long since I had a real burger and if you're hankering for one, this place right here has the best darn burgers in a stones throw from anywhere. Taylor treated me well and made sure I was tended to right...thank you Taylor for the Southern Hospitality!!!

So happy it just reopened and was totally surprised! I knew it would probably look a little different, but it looked great! It's so open and bright and much more inviting. The food and drinks were great as well. I ordered the Blue Baller, which was one of their specials on the wall and it was delicious and not too sweet and my husband's beer was ice cold. We ordered the BLT and Philly cheesesteak. They were delicious as well. There had to be a half pound of bacon on my sandwich and the philly was full of meat on a thinner bun, which we liked since then we aren't just eating a loaf of bread like most Phillys you get. They changed of the fries too which we loved. The new design looks like it will be a fun place to hang out with friends and have drinks. So glad it's back in business and looks better than ever.

Great burgers! 3 people split one order of fries. Warm chips and hot queso. Add on the classic rock of Ultra K and a great time tonight!!

Today was my first time eating at Chubby's and it was one of the best burgers I have ever had! I will definitely be going back.

Went there for lunch.Received the burgers and found them both very pink inside.Had to hunt down the waitress since she never checked back.She said they'd fix it- no apologies.Terrible service.Not many customers so we didnt understand the rush on the cooking end.

Thank God they're back! Best burgers anywhere. Messy and delicious. The fries are great and the beer schooners literally froze to the coaster they were so frozen. Yay Chubbys!

Cool place, great burger. The only reason they did not get 5 stars is because 2 of the burgers I chose was discontinued. All in all. It is a great burger.

Went to chubby's burgers on 8/29/20,just want so say one thing,whatabuger would have been much better,the burgers there were paper thin,I loved the old chubbys I don't know what happen maybe new management or some thing,not the same and we went on a Saturday they only had one waitress with a full house,we got there and i notice that friends of the bar maid came in and they got attended and their food before us and we had been there for 30 mins thats just wrong ,was very disappointed

Maybe we caught em on an off night. Ordered right after we got in. Blt, cheesburger and chili burger, 35 min later we get food. All burger meat was burnt. Blt was decent. Beans on side for ppl was great, By far best part of meal. Waitress was very nice and courteous. Heck they even put on the hockey game. Honestly that was the only reason we waited more than 25 min for a burger.

I always enjoy the food and great service.
Reuben sandwich is my go to and added some lemon pepper wings this time. Still completely satisfied.

I will tell you they have the best pinto beans and fried okra you will ever have.

Horrible place to eat . Food was greasy and over salted. My fries tasted like straight vinegar. Very unsanitary i will not be back . If u go get a glimpse of the cooks in the back . No gloves or hair nets and drinking on the job!! And they charged me just to swipe my debit card

Definitely a little disappointed in the value. Could have been 4 stars and I almost gave them 2. Chubby's makes a fantastic burger. No two ways about that. Never really heard anyone complain about the food. Last night a few friends decided to go. Although we were rolling about 1 deep, the service was great. The burger comes with fries. Fries list at $2.25 separately and the tots at $4.00. The waitress told me it would cost an extra $2.25 to substitute tots for fries. The portion of tots I received was quite small. Barely a single layer in the portion of basket not occupied by the substantial burger and decidedly less potatoes than those who had fries. In my mind, I paid $4.50 (price of fries plus the price of the upgrade) for $4.00 tots and didn't get $2.00 worth. Don't know for certain, but my experience is that smaller, privately held eateries often do not recognize the importance of or give adequate attention to portion control. This always results in a lack of consistency. These are my suspicions. Likely I will eat here again. Although it may be a while before that happens. Too bad because they're just a few blocks from the house and sooooo much better than the Jack and the Whata that are right across the street.

The Loaded Tater Tots were awesome. Will be in town for a bit and I will be back for them again...Great service too!!

The food is really good, but the service was lacking. Our first waitress was busy talking, sweeping, etc instead of taking care of us. Finally another one took over and was a little better. The food is good, but not good enough to over power poor service.

Amazing burgers! Everything me and my family ordered was so good! Definitely will be returning again!! I had the John Wayne burger and some onion rings and came home with over half the burger!

Don't eat here unless you plan on paying for their operating cost. You will be charged to use a credit/debit card. Plus the food isn't great to begin with.

Horrible fried pickles, got rid of a pizza burger, wasn't told fries were separate, the only positive was cheap beer.

Took my boyfriend out to lunch here and we both LOVED it! They have such a fun selection of appetizers (the fried zucchini was delicious). My boyfriend had a double burger and he was talking about it for days after! My only complaint is that the portebello burger featured on the menu online was no longer available, but the grilled cheese I got with all my favorite toppings made me just about forget!

On top of that, the service was fantastic. Our waitress was quick, helpful, and friendly. My boyfriend and I were far from forgotten, while also not being hovered over.

I've been to Chubby's Burger Shack twice before and was unimpressed. I'm never above giving a place a second chance, or even a third. Maybe this means that the third time is the charm? I walk in and there's NFL on the scteens and a few patrons at the bar. Clearly this place has regulars and they are dedicated. It makes believe that there, at least, used to be something special about this place.

When I enter, I ask about ordering to-go. I am directed to the other bar (there's two bars in this place, apparently, one for food and the other for, well, what bars are for.) They've recently completely redone the menu, it looks like, so I'm optimistic. I order the Double Cheeseburger with Bacon and Pepperjack. I also ordered a Dr. Pepper and a side of onion rings.

First off, the kind lady behind the counter tells me that she would like me to try the Dr. Pepper before she commits to selling it to me because they had to get a generic brand. Now, I'm not too picky, nor am I a stranger to restaurants. Sometimes what you get, as a restaurant, is what you get. No two ways about it. I try the flavor they were given and it's awful. I choose to go with Coca Cola instead.

Then, the cook comes and tells me that they dont have onion rings. This is the second time i have been denied onion rings at this restaurant out of the twice that ive ordered them. I'm disappointed, though unsurprised, and switch to the tots. To the restaurant's credit, they decide not to charge me for the tots at all for the inconvenience. Fair play.

I finally get to leave with my food and head to my mother's house. The unboxing is beautiful. If I were grading solely on what the food looked like in the box, this restaurant would get a great rating, but I dont buy food to look at it.

The tots were not good. When I was ordering my food, the server didn't specify anything as being particularly good. I usually use the suggestions by the staff to hone in on any particular favorites of the people who eat there regularly, so having no suggestions does not bode well. These tots were obviously bought frozen and were fried in oil which was too hot. This perplexes me because the fries from this restaurant are actually quite good.

Lets get to the meat of the situation. The burger patties were well scalded and juicy. They were also not seasoned well at all. This was about as disappointing as the bun which was soggy all around the bottom. The pickles weren't crisp at all, and teh rest of the garden failed to move me. It's as if this sandwich was designed to ruin any favor it grants itself. It started off well and dropped dramatically afterwards, creating an overall mundane experience.

If I had to offer any advice to this restaurant, it would be to stop fiddling with the menu and start working on the flavor. Replace the buns with something that holds up against the juice of the patty and then start seasoning the beef. Set two deep fryers for different temperatures and use one for your fries where its currently at and then use the other for your food with longer cook times.

Overall, this restaurant has great service, mediocre food, and poor management. I would have to give them a harsh 3/5.

Great dive joint. Inside is very smoky, but they have a large patio with live music on weekends. This is my favorite burger in town, they are large and delicious, with toasted buns and lots of toppings to choose from; I like the grilled jalapenos! The beans are really good too. Skip the queso.

I was expecting this place to blow me away, It turned out to be just okay. Bf took me for a lunch date on a Sunday afternoon. It's definitely a decent place to kick back and enjoy an (overpriced) bite. Our waitress was very friendly and we enjoyed the atmosphere. However, the food (I ordered the Philly Cheese Steak and he got the chili burger) fell a little flat and the prices were a bit more than average.

Came in around 1 today, had 1 table of drinkers, a few guys at bar drinking, and 4 waitresses. Was yelled at to sit anywhere from far side of bar from waitress sitting down. After 10 minutes of watching waitresses doing nothing, 1 finally was brought menu and asked for drink order. Ordered 2 teas with full glass of ice and lemon. Brought tea , half full of ice, no lemon, said nothing to us. Couldn't get anyone to bring sweet and low. Waited another 10 minutes and left. Is this a restaurant or bar.? U have to sell food to keep ur tabc license. I would fire 4 girls, have some type of management there . Went elsewhere to eat, and was told ur restaurant is getting really bad reviews from their customers.
Plus where r the hot dogs and corny dogs?

My family and I decided to randomly come, we went in found a table but it honestly took almost 10 mins to be noticed by a waiter. I was about to say let's just go. A waiter finally came she apologized and provided really good service. Anyway the burgers were Awesome, I highly recommend them, I really enjoyed the laid back atmosphere.

What's not to love about this place, they deserve 10 stars. By far the best burger in Texas. Great service, plenty of waitresses on staff. Your glass will never be empty, the fries are awesome and got everything in a timely manor

The burgers are huge and come with French fries. I'm not a fan of flame broiled patties. Everything was covered with too much salt.

This place is amazing. Great food and great prices. The owner was there and made me feel like family. I could tell that he was this way with all his patrons. He knew everyone!! I will be coming back as often as I can!!

The drinks were plentiful and the food was just so amazing. I've had fajitas, nachos, and Cajun shrimp. Just amazing. Added bonus was our beautiful Marisol was so informative and helpful. She made our visit special

Excellent burgers!!! It's kind of like Fudruckers in thay you add your own condiments and lettuce/tomato/pickle...but it's got that local place flavor. The patties are juicy, very well seasoned, and cooked to the perfect degree. The only drawback was that you could smell some of the smoke from the smoking section while in the non-smoking section. After a minute I got used to it, but someone who is very asthmatic might have a little difficulty there.

Fantastic Burgers and Appetizers. We don't have to ask our Child where he wants to go for his Birthday every year. You will find us At Chubby's! All at a Fair price. Sports screens surround the room so you don't miss a single sports event. Occasionally there will be a band playing out on the Patio. Great Fun and Staff. Very Casual.

Just got into town and wanted to try something different ......So delicious!! The burgers are amazing and the chuby tacos are good!! Defenetly coming back!!
