I do not like the arrogance of the doctor in icu. He was polite enough in the room for about one minute, but I was not comfortable asking some questions over a person who is alert mentally, but dying physically so stepping outside the door out of respect for the patient , I expected the same bedside manner, but was met with very abrupt rudeness and brushed off coldly. I understand we are all human, and I empathize with the workload on doctors, the pressures from every angle. I also understand doing that type of work daily maybe you have a hard time with sensitivity. My point is I know my feelings are not the only thing that matters . I understand some people also are not doctors because they want to help, some are after prestige or money or power even. We should all remember they are human too. As humans they are not perfect , they have bad days, and some may not even actually be good people at all. I just wish everyone would keep in mind that everyone is someone's mother or sister, daughter, or grandmother .

Worst services at emergency room. I am recommending not to go this hospital if you have other option. This hospital must be last option for health treatment. I ll die rather than going there for health services.

I recently had a colonoscopy at this hospital. It was like getting medical care in a third world country. The waiting room looked like a bus station in a small town. The place was dirty with trash on the floor. The coffee pots weren't working. In the prep area people kept running into the beds because there was so little walkway space. My bed had to be turned at an angle to allow another bed to return to their cubicle. This will be my last visit to this facility. Very sad.

Went in for a hysterectomy on 12/17. The OR nurses were kind and communicative. The recovery nurse, Brooke, was awful. She was unhelpful and would not help me move, answer the nursing call button when I needed her or extolling anything to me. I was left alone in my room for several hours without any help after my surgery. At the change of shift, I explained all of this to Edna, the night nurse and she took excellent care of me.

The second day 12/18, the daytime nurses were a little better, but when Brooke came back she was passive aggressive and rolled her eyes at me multiple times. She ignored my questions and concerns. I tired to tell her I was bleeding and she ignored that also. I finally got ahold of a different nurse and asked for my PA because I was bleeding. Sure enough I needed units of blood. Dr. Sprott never came by to talk to me about the procedure the entire time I was in recovery.

They even tried to give me pineapple even though I made it clear that I have anaphylactic reactions to it. They also gave me ice cream and milk, which I cannot have either.

The night nurse Ledia that was in charge of the blood transfusions was sweet, helpful and communicated frequently with me!

Overall the night time nurses were okay (definitely no where near the level of patent care at FMC in Flag or at Thunderbird in Glendale AZ). I was extremely disappointed with the day time nurses. For the amount of money I paid I should have had much better treatment, and had these nurses been under my management I would have immediately replaced them!

Other than the cafeteria closing at 3pm, everything is good.

I hate this is the only place I can go because I can t drive all the way to Houston. Checked my daughter in at 2am for trouble breathing and coughing. Got back fast, they did RSV & Flu both came back negative and claimed chest X-ray was fine but she was still having trouble breathing and coughing bad. They discharged me with no meds for her and said it was URI. Didn t feel right so went to her pediatrician and he said she did on fact have pneumonia and a ear infection! The doc at ER checked her chest, back , and ears and never mentioned it! What a waste. Glad I went to pediatrician or my daughter may have suffered more.

Do not ever I mean ever take someone you are truly worried about to them. The got labs, contrast ct and diagnosis in less than 30 min of drawings the blood. After being left in rma from 1130pm till 6 am not seeing the doctor for a mva injury. Had a nurse tell this was normal. Then the doctor told my husband in less than 30 what the outcome of all tests were before he did them without touching my husband. The nurse who did rma vitals when we first got into rma begged me no to let my husband leave because something was bad wrong. To have doctor release husband with no treatment. FYI he was in auto accident at 75 miles and hour to be told by doctor just be thankful to be alive.

The worst place every the wait was out rages I had to wait 6 hours just to be seen.and came in with bad chest pain man inprove people are suffing.

I came to this hospital to birth my son. I was under an agreement with my doctor that I was going to get an epidural since my first child was a difficult birth. When the pain started coming, I told the nurses that I was ready but they all informed me that the hospital doesn't do that. They also were not even concerned about me or my pain. I was mostly alone throughout my labor, until this nurse came in and held my hand the entire time. She didn't leave my side until my son came into this world. It was 11 years ago. I never new her name, but I'll never forget her. The pediatric nurses were great with my son and I had no other complaints.

I had my baby a couple of days ago and the treatment I received by everyone was amazing! Everyone is amazing people who truly care about your well being. I recommend this place to anyone especially if you are pregnant and want to have a great labor and delivery! The nurses and Dr's are amazing!

This is the worst hospital emergency room i have ever incountered. The staff is does not care if you live or die or in pain or not or if they could or could not make your visit more comfortable. My mom is 81 and had a car wreck. When we arrive at this god awful place full of uncaring staff, it took them 30 mins to check her in and then throwed her back in waiting room where we sat for 4 hrs with 4 people ahead of her. Now mind you, she had a bleeding tumor on her brain 2 months ago that had just stoppped bleeding. Now, 81, car wreck that totaled her car, bleeding brain tumor, bad headache and neck hurting and couldn't move it. They put her in the waiting room. Well she would not stay after 4hrs and 4 more to go. They said ok. Whatever she wants to do. You don't even need to sign her out. They could care less and i will NEVER go to that hosp again.

Not sure who the previous reviews dealt with, but each time we have been there with our son we have received great care. The wait was a bit long once we actually got into a room, but it was fine. They were friendly with him, and cared about what was going on with him. Even the interns and rookies were interested and kind, unlike most other hospitals.

Came to hospital at 10am...had a few tests & told I would be admitted. It is now 1030pm & still not in a room & asked 5x if I could eat "they would check" I also asked about my meds that I take at home, that I obviously need while here "they would check" still nothing! Wow what a greatly run hospital I feel oh so important & taken care of...NOT! Do not come here unless it's a must!

I took my pregnant sister to be induced this past August & I have NEVER seen such AMAZING, DEDICATED, SWEET, KIND, & HARDWORKING NURSES! I was EXTREMELY IMPRESSED with every single nurse that my sister had! On another note, my sisters ob/gyn Dr. Sprott was AWFUL!! I HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND NO ONE EVER USE THIS PARTICULAR DOCTOR! HE MADE BEYOND RUDE & INAPPROPRIATE COMMENTS THE ENTIRE TIME HE WAS DELIVERING MY NEPHEW! One comment he made was so nasty & embarrassing for my sister that I decided right then & there to report him. I do not know how to report a doctor, because thankfully I've never had to! However, I absolutely REFUSE to let this rude & inappropriately behaving doctor with not one single millimeter of bed side manner get away with treating my sister like he did. & if he treated my sister as awfully as he did, then I'm more than sure she wasn't the 1st nor the last to be treated like sh*t! Other than him, the hospital was darn near perfect!

Watch the billing.they will charge you just for having a dr there

A supposed nurse named Stephanie nicole Pate is going around saying she works at this hospital she Does Not! She called my 80 year old father last night told him she works there and my brothers condition was worse than it is. This hospital seems unconcerned that someone who doesn't work there is claiming she does she May have at one time but has not in years I'm not sure if she is even a nurse at all but she doesn't work at this hospital.

They are so slow, nurses are rude. Wouldnt send my worst enemy to this hospital. They suck

The women that work on The Center For New Life are truly great and amazing nurses!

The ER was a long wait, but no complaints. Everything turned out Ok.

The emergency room is wrong for attacking me inside a room. Yelling at me telling me I need a lawyer. Health security damaging my hand and not informing me about my rights. They have misconducted.

Rude staff can't get a answer of what's going on from anyone. Waste of time. You'll have better care from a toddler and the internet.

My Mother had hip surgery, brought in from her home by ambulance. Had hip surgery the following day. Care was good & nursing was very good.

This hospital is the absolute WORST, filthy place I have ever been. My son was playing HS baseball and was hit in the Throat, it started swelling and constricting his breathing so we went to the closest emergency room which was this pit from hell. Here he had trouble breathing, a man with chest pains thought he was having a heart attack, another with a split skull had to lean over the reception desk while the put gauze on his head and ALL told to sit down, while they took snotty noses back.....REALLY?

After a 4 hour wait we walked out without seeing anyone and took our son for REAL care. This is not an emergency room, its just a crowded clinic with standing room only from so many people.....ABSOLUTE JOKE!

Health come first - GO Somewhere else!!!

I could not believe the rankings - it is true, not effective- long wait times- nurses complaining about other areas. GO somewhere else!

We were supposed to be a direct admit, however we got to wait 9 hours for a room! Yippie! You are better off going to Houston!

Nice people not able to make decisions - Our 90 year old patient did not get food, we felt like we were begging for service even though we were told it was not that busy. Please consider other healthcare venues that would be less aggravating. Administration on call did not meet expectations either! What a shame.

Right hand does not know what left hand is doing! ...And by the way ...Nurses on 5th floor did not want to take report after room was assigned. Quite a disappointment as a former hospital administrator.

Worse hospital i hate it treat people like dogs!! I had a Chronic Asthma attack gave me too many steroids now i have Osteomylitis . Worse pain ever !! all doctors there do is give pain pills and discharge you . when they give injections they do it fast when its suppose to be slow. They got nurses that dont even know how to draw blood.

They let me almost die will i hear the doc and nurse say i was going in to a diabitic shock cause the bmt police dept was trying to intrap me for crimes i have not don and the whole night staff and morning staff main Michael flemmings refuse to give proper treat me an ive been here almost a day and a half and told ppl i was here locked in rooms and i now fear that they might give the wrong meds while im still here

If this thing had a 0 I d put 0, worst hospital I ve ever been to in my life ! I m grandma is miserable with neuropathy, spinal stenosis, and she s disabled, but since she has Medicare they tell her she needs to go somewhere else ! I ve been to 1000 s of hospitals because I m a cancer survivor and I ve NEVER experienced this bad of customer survive, medical care, or professionalism. NEVER GO HERE WORST EVER!

Discharged me in the worst pain ive ever had. Severe vomiting and stomach spasms. Could not even keep water down. Begged them to help me. They said take some antacid. Went to baptist it was Pancreatitis. Spent a week there

Rudest damn nurses ever!! It's all the older ones that rude too. I seen like one good nurse.. being there 3 days . Had my son there also.. one tried telling me what to do with MY child in a very rude way.. just saying its nurses job to take care of the patient ... not to tell them what to do. There nurses need to learn how to treat people.. also had family go there and the nurses were rude to them as well.. they need to hire better employees!

I'm never coming to this hospital ever again. The care was ok other than not actually giving my daughter any medication for her fever. The people were great, but they just sit you us in a halfway and came to get us for the various tests/whatever. There's zero privacy and it's wholly uncomfortable. 1/10, won't come again.

My dad had a bone scan today at the Outpatient Pavillion. We had the pleasure of having Darrell McKeert (I hope spelling is correct) give dad the bone scan. I am so used to being around medical personnel who are only interested in how fast they can get patients through the process. He was informative, patient, knowledgeable and treated my 86 year old dad with empathy and kindness. He put a smile on my dad's face that lasted the entire trip back to Woodville, which is his home. Thank you so much for hiring him. I think this is the kind of employee hospitals need these days.

Today, December 2nd, 2015, the nurses took 26 minutes to respond to my mothers request for assistance. They are apathetic and bleed the clock without remorse or sympathy. Fire the lot. Start again.

This is the absolute worst hospital!!!! The nurses let my husband Fall in ICU they also left a whole container of paralytics out for anybody that wanted them the doctor didn't show his face for 3 days and then today one of their people call me and had the nerve to say we we're hoping there was someone else involved in your husband's accident so we could get the bill paid ! I don't know who's running this place but they need to be fired!!!

I CAME IN TO THE ER THE STAFF WAS RUDE TOLD ME THAT THEY COULD DO NOTHING ABOUT MY CONDITION THE DR. LEFT OUT THE ROOM AND LEFT ME SITTING IN THERE THEN SENT ME HOME WITH DISCHARGE PAPERS AND FORGORTTO PUT MY PERSCRIPTION'S IN THE PAPERS THEY TREATED ME LIKE I WAS A NOBODY AND DIDNT SHOW NO CONCERN FOR WHAT I WAS GOING THROUGH I WOULD NEVER GO TO THIS HOSPITAL AGAIN NOR WILL I RECCOMEND IT TO ANYBODY

I wish there was a negative star to give. I came into their emergency room after suffering a seizure while driving and totaling my car by hitting telephone pole.
after being assisted into the emergency room and telling them what happened they told me to sit down and fill out the admittance paper work, despite how much pain I told them I was in. After filling out the paper work waited 30 to 45 mins before they even admitted me into a room to WAIT once again for a doctor to see me. While I was waiting the first 45 mins I went up to the receptionist desk twice telling them I had awful pain, and they pretty much ignored me and had me sit back down and wait. But after they admitted me into a trauma room and told me to wait for a doctor to see me. I waited about 2 1/2 hrs before a doctor even came in to just see me. after that they took me to get an MRI and X ray's to see what was wrong. I had a broken bone above my collar bone and a small cut on my spleen, The doctor said that I could have bleed out pretty quick had the cut on my spleen been worse. Him saying that kind of reassured the thought that "I could be dying" while waiting 2 hr for a doctor to see me. They don't care about anyone who comes into their Emergency room. The receptionist just don't care about the condition of a patient coming into their doors. It is pretty much first come first serve, despite the amount to damage or pain you have. I another patient just like me going up to the receptionist desk begging to be seen or get something to help the pain she was having, but they ignored her and let her just walk around in pain waiting. I will go to Baptist hospital or even a clinic or let a homeless person take care of me before going back to St. Elizabeth. If you don't mind dying in the emergency room and having it not being noticed until the next day, then feel free to go to St. Elizabeth. If you want to live go somewhere else.

Do yourself a big favor go to Baptist Hospital in Beaumont, Texas. Please, avoid this hospital no compassion for patients. Very rude, unprofessional the worst care ever!!!! Watch every claim submitted READ CAREFULLY *****OVERBILL INSURANCE FOR ER SERVICES****

This is worst hospital to ever stand. They wait hours before you get seen. Me and my cousin was in a wreck and got to the hospital at 6:00pm it is currently 11:03pm it took them four hours just to get us an X-ray and a CT scan. This is ridiculous.
