Still lit and beautiful. Security was cranky but overly lazy. It was a lot nicer without the thousands of other people getting in the way.

Nicely designed and decorated place during Christmas. We enjoyed there but getting a parking here is so tough you can t imagine. I spent 30min to get a parking
Beautiful! Lots of s from locals.. lights, "snow" rides, hot cocoa, cookies, funnel cake fun for the whole family!
Excellent Christmas lighting with sound on FM. Drive-thru only.
People were out....and it was peaceful and beautifully decorated......never seen so many Xmas trees...
Lots of Christmas trees, rides and food. Plenty of paid parking available close by. You can spend about an hour or two.
Always have fun here. Ice skating, lights, it's all really great.
Family, friends and dates its for all. Very fun very cute very very welcoming .
If you are afraid of crowds then it may not be your cup of tea.
The photo with Santa is the best and so many Christmas trees we can not forget the hot chocolate and your churro
We bought drive-in Christmas in the park for Saturday 7:30pm time slot when they just opened their ticket sales. We drove 40 minutes to get there around 7:00pm, but the line was just too long to wait for with a toddler in the car. (The lines were about 7 blocks) We had to come back home. They refund back but we wish we could go on time rather than wasting our trips back and forth for 1:30minutes for nothing.
It is really a fun place to visit this Christmas in park, located in Downtown San Jose. There is a giant Christmas tree and several other decorations. There are several rides for children. They also have several performances in the Christmas in the park. Great place to visit.
Very traditional San Jose Christmas festival. If you have children it's a must to visit. Entertainment for the whole family.
The lights and other exhibits were awesome but the 1.5 hour long car line dampened the positive experience.
Great change and way to be safe but traffic line are bad but move fastly
Very good, as always. The insane Hot Chocolate is still awesome. Couldn't find the fake snow bomber this year though.
Came down from south san Francisco. Parking lots were confusing to find. But once in the lot, plenty of parking in the upper levels.cost me $7 to park all day. The park had tons of decorative Christmas trees . But it was hard to enjoy them because the the amount of people walking. The park was dirty with overflowing trash cans and food wrappers scattered on the floor. I think this will be a one time visit. Wasn't impressed.
Its just a holiday tradition to go there and look at trees lol
Beautiful
The wait is worth it.
We had a good time. But I would suggest buying the bracelet if you plan on going on the rides. The tickets are 3 dollars each. The bracelet is $20
Great Christmas tradition type community gathering event.
Every family should go to Christmas in the Park at least once
Such a unique experience around the holidays in the middle of San Jose. Tons of animated and moving displays, vendors, great food and snack items, the best hot chocolate, and you can even visit Santa. There is cheap parking and decks nearby with handicap accessible parking.
Good for Juniors.. Kids between 4 to 10 can go on the rides
Rad Christmas carnival downtown. Rides, hot chocolate, Carney food, ice skating, and a ton of Christmas trees.
Lots of expensive stuff but it's really nice to walk around in
What a fun idea for this time. And great job syncing the lights to the music. Lots of little hidden gems if you keep your eyes open.
A San Jose staple. Basically a bunch of trees everywhere, decorated by the community, companies, sponsors, etc. Truth be told, there s nothing truly eye opening about Christmas in the Park but it is a tradition. There s a big tree in the middle, the same folks doing sleigh pics, FREE Santa photos (but god is that line long), and food stands (everyone always gets the hot chocolate even though it s overpriced and mediocre).
Best place to go with your little ones during Christmas season. Highly recommended.
Great environment lots of things too look at and lot of un stuff for kids.....Great place to visit with the family
So beautiful, we liked it very much Thank you excellent work to be able to enjoy it safely
I did not like everything very ugly and very old ornaments
It was a fun experience. There were many stands selling wide variety of foods and warm beverages. There were also some thrilling games. The christmas tree in the center was huge and beautiful. Wishing well was made unique, making children want to toss some spare pennies into it.
Very colourful and joyful. A bit dirty but manageable to have some fun during Christmas.
A holiday tradition from when I was a child, now sharing it with my children
Not worth the very long wait to get in. The first part was weaving through a parking lot with some slightly moving dioramas that looked like Disney park rejects. The second part was a bit nicer, where you drove through an area with decorated buildings and then a long line of Christmas trees done up by different local groups. I was hoping there would be more interesting stuff done with all of the led lights, like large sculptures, but they were all simplistic flat shapes stuck in the ground. Also, the audio quality from the radio was garbage, even if you liked the twelve songs on their looping playlist, they sounded gritty and garbled at times, so we kept the radio down.
The cars around you can also really hinder your enjoyment. We were in front of a huge pickup truck that had its high beams on right behind us. I don't know why the organizers weren't asking everyone to turn off their car lights, you could see just fine without them, and it was pretty junky to get a face full of headlights behind us and at every turn.
Im actually working xmas in the park for Butler Amusement. The trees are beautifully decorated, the staff is super friendly, the rides and games are awesome. Bring the whole family down and enjoy the festivities.
Recommend to avoid this place on weekends due to enormous crowd. The park is beautifully decorated and holds some sort of exhibition of Christmas trees decorated by local schools, institutes and companies. There is a bunch of simple attractions for kids. The food is meh.
Be prepared to be packed like sardines, parking is s*** too
I come by myself because I used to come with my oldest daughter Samantha, She's been missing for 14 month's now..I wish I could see her at Christmas!! Always nice to see all the happy Family's. Just don't come on the weekend at night!! Unless u like your ankles run over by strollers! Lol Merry Christmas San JO!!
Really fun night in downtown San Jose! Really busy and it was great seeing everyone walk around even a few days after Christmas. I added a picture of my favorite Christmas tree: the Bahn-Mi tree . I'd highly recommend all ages to go and attend next year. A great date night.
A holiday tradition in San Jose! Families bring their kids here to watch the festive displays. They also sell food and there are carnival rides.
Really wonderful and happening place to be, carnival is going on right now (25th dec, 2019).lots of good eats, I had delicious waffles and hot dog. This place is full of life and people. Bonus: free parking tool 26th dec @ San Pedro parking garage/lot. Thank me by liking my review. Good place for kids, if you have any. Best place for youngsters to hangout with friends and family. Don't miss this. Ride tickets are 4$ per person and unlimited ride costs 20 $
This year (2018) Christmas in the Park is closed on 25th December only
It is very beautiful as every year, just a little more security is missing since we can not see any police nearby and if much vagrant
Awesome experience during the COVID-19 era. This amazing light show was 100% worth the drive through and ticket. This year, it was set up the synchronize an impressive array of lights to Christmas songs played over the radio. Of course the Christmas trees from sponsors are still there, but the highlight of the drive is the light displays. Staff were all very well organized and safe. Highly recommend if they do something like this again! Remember to bring snacks and use the bathroom beforehand, since the entire experience may take over an hour or so (but still very much so worth the wait in line!).
Had fun walking around and drinking cocoa. Hadn't been here since a school field trip in like 1999 and it hasn't changed drastically tbh.
Tons of stuff to look at, just way too many people when we went!
This year's event is sponsored by Southwest Airlines, and it is apparent that they made more investments than previous years' events. I see more crowds and more "things" happening this year when compared to before. Interestingly, half of the park was converted into vendors selling carnival style snacks, and other goods. Before, all the carnival rides and food vendors would be located in the two side alleys outside of the park, but to get more foot traffic and more revenue, the event placed many of the paid services inside the park now. The park used to be filled with Christmas trees from a variety of organizations to showcase their creativity, but all of them now get "squished" into half the park now. Don't get me wrong, as a SJ local, I will still come and support the local holiday event, but it just feels more commercial now.
Had a great time and really love that the music in the park costs for admission. Really helps weed out the problematic individuals!!!
The best place to experience San Jose s Christmas tradition.
Great place to enjoy during the holiday seasons both daytime and evenings!!! So many nice decorated Christmas trees and Christmas themed displays!!! Awesome for pictures!!! You can also grab a hot chocolate to keep yourself warm!!!
