Quick to take the money for admission. And while refunding the same after cancellation, they will take literally months to do so . Moreover if you call at their number , they will direct you to call at another department. That concerned department doesnot receive the call ever.

It's just selling due to a stupid ranking it got by times of India, which says it's the no. one university for management!
Bullshit. The faculty is the worst people i have ever seen and are very rude in talking.
There is no exposure, and is very far behind its time. They bound the student with useless rules and regulations and over burden with studies.
If you are a bookworm and all you want is a degree and some job and do not care about life I highly recommend it.
Else never even think about studying here.
In today's time, it stands no where.
I was accepted in, and even got the admission. But I dropped out the next day.
Believe me there are a lot of better universities out there. Make it your last resort

1. Needs to have more transparency during admissions. You need to explain on what basis a student is selected for the ET & SA-PI. How do the professors in SA-PI know if you're the wrong one for the course? I suggest an aptitude test. There are two professors that you face in the PI. What if one likes you and the other doesn't? Will you be selected then?
2. You have to pick the phone when we call for enquiry or get back to us if you're not able to pick the call.
3. Please publish a mobile friendly version of the site so that we can apply through our phones as well.
4. The student login details should be provided via the mobile number we have registered with. Giving a paper with our details and passwords is just low when everything else is done online.
5. Don't open the links to open electives at different times for all the three years. It steals away a chance of the first years because their link opens last.
6. The upper floor of the UG library needs better ventilation. Desperately.
7. Please open up seats for students to join the hostel as soon as they come in for the final admission process because else, they have to wait till August and there is never a notice of whom to approach for the matter.
8. Provide food in the hostel. Even it means increasing the prices. It becomes more affordable if we don't have to spend so much on food alone.
9. Remove the network blockers. We are not able to access our phone's network even outside the building. Should we never call our parents? Should we never check our class group on WhatsApp which is actually where we get updates on whether we have class or not (after a free class especially).
10. Respond to the horrible allegations you get on this site. Some of them aren't true and I am not in the place to fight your battles. A simple response, actually sends them away. If I am having to instill this wisdom then I will be forced to believe that you are randomly choosing applicants.

Having more applicants will only increase the prestige of the university. Unless you make changes you won't find Christ reaching the pinnacle I envision it to reach. This is a great university. It deserves the tag university but it does desperately need some changes. I'm sure I don't have to tell you what would be the outcome if there are positive changes in the university. Hint: The results are positive too.

I know making any institution a perfect one is impossible but at least some of the points mentioned will make a Christite's life a bit easier on campus.

Thank you!

After three years of studying UG in this University, let me tell you one thing. The notion that Christ University is good only for nerds is absolutely ridiculous!!! I have been encouraged a lot to take part in the extra curricular and I my passion for Railways also recieved a lot of boost. I have been given opportunities to share my thoughts on Railways with other students and in the three years of my life at Christ I never encountered any troubles with the faculty members. They have been very friendly and approachable.

Of course the rules might be somewhat a hindrance. But that doesn't make the university life a hell...I have currently enrolled for Masters Programme and am looking forward to a new adventure. In short, the university is good. Just a suggestion - Imbibe the culture of startups so that students gain an insight into how do they start an initiative. I have a startup forum The Christite Indian Railway Knowledge Forum. But the challenge is that we have been given a very limited window to campaign fr our forum. It would be really nice if new and unique ventures are given a boost and support. This will add to the Motivating environment and the campus life!

Interviewers didn't know about hindi language well.

So today I visited as an alumni of Christ (not the proudest). The security guy stopped me and said, I wasn't allowed. I was apparently only supposed to visit during "office hours". Thanks for the privilege. But it only reminded me that Christ would never back down from making me hate them.

Best campus and infrastructure.. However there are other things to look upon it will be 100 pages if I start writing. You will regret at some point why you joined this college in both positive and negative way.. somehow they torture you mentally if I am not wrong.. Because most of my Collegemates experience this here atleast I heard this from 8/10 of the person I meet.. somehow I will tell it is not a student-friendly college.

The campus is amazing I ll give you that. But as the saying goes appearance can be deceiving. Even though the university gives quality education, the people in the university forget that you are a human. They don t care about anyone else except themselves. You have to forget about enjoying your life if you are joining this university. If you are someone who cannot take stress this isn t a place for you. They don t treat you like humans, they treat you like machines and nothing more. Even though it is an amazing university education wise, I am really disappointed with the way they treat people. Most universities have an option of returning 75% of your fees but these people don t.

Happiest 3 years of my life. Placements aren't commendable. Brand value is one of the biggest plus points from the college. Most of the courses are rigorous and well trained but some are too easy and leave a lot of room for improvement. Also one of the best colleges in South India for the sheer number of opportunities one gets by being pro active in the university circles, both professionally as well as personally.

Proud to be a Christite.

[Review mainly for the new aspirants who want to get in here]
People who want to enjoy and study here then this is not your place . Later don't feel bad about your decision. They are very strict with there attendance policy.

Okay so let's break it down into multiple parts. But before that DO NOT LISTEN TO THE "LOCAL EXPERTS". I'm not sure how people who haven't studied in an institution rate it. I have a clue though. I thought it's time to put a review from the viewpoint of a student (i scored 92% overall in case you wanted to get an idea of what type of student i am) Anyway:

1. Personally the worst investment of my 3 years. It's a place where if you have the will and drive to study and grow independently you succeed(if that's the case you could enrol somewhere where it is much cheaper and still succeed). They don't offer anything to push you to success. So it's basically an investment with very limited return. (Academically 0, co curricular are still fine)

2. With regards to academics they have very few professors who know how to teach and the rest follow their own styles and consider themselves to be very educated individuals who honestly have 0 skill and are plain rude. I say it's time to get off your high horses and treat students as individuals and not like interiors. And the professors who can teach, please leave you'd be helping a lot more students elsewhere.

3. With regards to service faculty, again every single one of them behaves as if you should be considered honored to be there and are straight up rude. The people in the admissions office, IPM, bank (inside campus) and pretty much every other office have no compassion and are so stringent about rules not for the sake of adherence to rules but just so as to not have to deal with additional issues.Plus they don't take you seriously one bit. Again they forget that it is our fees that pay their meals. If you can't be nice at least just don't be absolute a*****es.

4. Everything revolves around money over here. Especially the attendance cutoff and fees. If we pay the fees to study already why does it matter if we attend classes or not? Everything here has a price to be paid and unnecessary rules and procedures that make even simple issues complicated.

5. Getting to marking. There is no standardised marking scheme. Now they would say there is but I've seen so many answer sheets get corrected by different teachers and get graded differently despite the similarity of answers. The lack of a benchmark for grading and handing autonomy over the process to teachers (some of whom I'd even go as far as saying are borderline sadistic) is absolutely frustrating as you're handing them the option to mess with your future. What's worse is that even if they were wrong some of them wouldn't budge as their image amongst their peers and the students is much more important to them. So be prepared to not have your work acknowledged.

6. I'm not sure why so many people have rated it positively but knowing the amount of funds they have I'm sure you can connect the dots. Also If a educational institute is rated 4/5 because it has lawns I'm not sure what you are rating honestly XD

7. The ONLY positive thing about them is their co curricular and their placement service. Their connections allow for a lot of companies to come in to recruit but a lot of other places offer that as well.

So if studying in an overly expensive place(I'm not even sure why it's that expensive to start with), which imposes a lot of irritating and unnecessary rules and restrictions on your lifestyle for the sake of their brand image, while also making it worse by having faculty who treat you like trash, and wasting away your time and energy is something you are keen to do then sure, definitely go ahead.

P.s. I forgot to mention they have a lot of cash to flaunt (high fees to thank for that) so buying reviews from "local guides" isn't too hard for them and it's not even beneath them.

Although infrastructure and campus seems good. Students seem from good families and well behaved. But I personally felt the staff or faculties, whatever you call, are very rude and don't have a cooperative attitude. And I saw some previous reviews also commenting on their rudeness. Don't know if the management even sees these review's .

WORST college. They're THIEVES and will go to any extent to trouble you and extract money from you. Worthless and MANNERLESS RUDE management. Honestly, very bad personal experience and I won't recommend anyone to take admission here.
