Undisputedly the best chippie in town - maybe the country!

Had haddock and cone of chips. Lovely fish and crispy ish chips.

Best in Stafford brilliantly cooked well presented.

Omg amazing food and plenty of it! Tried a Cod and a Haddock both delicious. Chips and peas fabulous. Definitely recommend.

Best chippy in Stafford the portion sizes are fairly small but worth the money than other chip shops which pile on tons of chips what you most likely would throw away or die of obesity. when you ask for salt or vinegar they don't hover them over the top for 5 minutes so you get super soggy/salty food . The specials surprisingly are fairly big for the price and their fish, sausages and other add ons have always been fairly good quality. Always worth going in once a week for a treat wouldn't recommend going every night due to end of day its greasy and not good for you.

Absolutely stunning food every time, great price pleasant staff always have a good natter with chris very nice man!! We have been going to chris fish bar for years and wouldn t go anywhere else... thanks again chris for another lovely meal. pete

Being going to this chippy for at least thirty years. Not only the best in Stafford but one of best I have visited in the U. K. Excellent.

Fish and chips not too bad, but I have an assistance dog and Chris was a bit rude after telling him why my dog was with me he went on to say looks like there's nothing wrong with me why would I have him. Which I found wasn't needed I had him in there before and he never said a thing till today.

My wife and I have eaten fish and chips up and down the country and personally have found this one to be our favourite, so much so I booked an overnight stay in Stafford on our way to our honeymoon in the Lake District so we could enjoy their cuisine again. Also found Chris and his staff extremely pleasant.

Have always gone here as it's known for being a great chippy, but after tonight I won't go again. Dreadful portions, extremely small - girl serving was on another planet. Really disappointing.

This is the best chippy in Stafford. Don't listen to that idiot below me. All the staff are happy,polite,and professional. Nice food at competitive prices. All I can say is "WELL DONE CHRIS".

Too expensive. Kebabs are mushy nowadays and paper bags are a joke. Never ever been the best. Gone down drain from probably being 2nd best in town and down the drain good. Why pay more for smaller portions. Prospect road wildwood are better. Definatetly gonna avoid this 1. Fish n chips may b the only thing they get right

Nice kebab meat and chips but not impressed with the chicken meat. Maybe they were busy but seemed under cooked

As an American tourist, I can t say which chip shop is the best in town , but my mate brought me by and I had a great experience for my first time having fish and chips and had great conversation with George. Friendly staff and huge portions that obese-ish American s can appreciate. :)

The best fish and chips in Stafford!! The quality is always incredible, and the price is more than reasonable, the staff are always pleasant and helpful. The shop is always very clean. Everything is cooked fresh. And their homemade fish cakes are lovely

Supposedly the best in Stafford, but they were out of cod not long after opening on a Saturday evening. Chips were okay but nothing to write home about.

This is not my local fish and chip shop however I don't mind the commute as the chips are great and the fish is lovely and is very popular. The queues for the fish are out the door. I like the chicken kebabs too.

Most of the time very nice but the last couple of times the fish have been very boney. Also value for money could be better.

Best fish n chips in Stafford. Friday night is best as you're almost guaranteed a freshly fried fish due to the turnover being so high, queues out of the door every week.
Worth the wait though, there are no short portions (as was suggested below) the standard fish, although not cheap, is always good quality and a very decent size.

Went to pick up some garden furniture tonight. Recommended by client to go here. Best fish and fish and chips we've ever had! Fantastic service too. Will definitely visit again if we're in the area. Not to be missed.

Tasty, hot selection of foodstuffs. Staff always work hard to ensure speedy service particularly as there are always large queues to purchase the excellent fish, chips and pies.

Whilst driving from Luton airport ,stopped off at this chippy and was served one of the best valued Scottish haddock and chips I have ever tasted,thx Chris ,the traveling Rangers fans
