This is the very first Choices. The first store which would later develop into what would become a popular chain in BC which offers healthier alternatives for foods and medicines. Not to mention a wider selection of organics.

At the time I last went-- for its 27th birthday-- it was crowded as it was going through renovations. The renovations made it hard to walk around. However I'd be interested to see what it's like once the renovations are completed.

I love the renovated choices on 16 the. The meat and deli are particularly great. Duck, venison, bison and lots of fish/ meat cuts, including duck sausage. There are lots of prepared meal/ salad choices in the deli, great yogurt variety, and lots of organics and vegan selections in every area.

Best place in the neighborhood for local organic food. Prices higher, generally than some other larger food stores, but often good value on organics. Excellent place to buy health food supplements.

Far too expensive for my regular shops, but for spanakopita from the deli section, then carrot cake and butter tarts from the chilled bakery section across from it, I leave a pretty happy gal! All super incredibly delicious! Oh, and don't forget to grab the tzatziki!

Great store for local and organic products. Decent service. Just a bit pricey. Lots of products made onsite in the deli section. I like to get my meat here, usually fresh and has a nice selection.

Very overpriced. I guess we pay for convenience but I think they'll need to be more competitive with the big boys moving in. Also, I have no idea why the tellers have been told to round down to the nearest nickel even for one penny and it's annoying as hell. It's just a few pennies every time but I hate it for the principal. I'm frugal and already paying high premium for groceries now they're going to nickel me at the checkout? Get it together

Not my favourite place to shop. Find it too pricy.....shopping atmosphere a bit too depressing (but that's just me). No real reason to go......especially if you gonna buy regular name brand products.....guess you could try it for their so called environment friendly products......No thanks, I'll pass

I come here occasionally for organic dairy and compostable dog poop bags. The produce is usually in good shape though the selection is small. Had a mediocre experience here regarding the staff. I bulk-pre-ordered the dog bags 3 times and never got a call; the staff said, "must be a mistake!" Well, duh. Finally got what I needed elsewhere.

All Choices Markets are customer friendly and carry lots of the daily need products
Service is top notch. But now some news that several people won't like. But some might like, Choices has been sold to the Patterson Group. The people that we have gotten to know quite well, who work there, are so upbeat about the old company that I only hope they will be treated as well by a bigger conglomerate and don't get lost in the size of the group.we have had several problems buying veggies lately in fact I took some items back and got my money refunded. The staff are as great as ever but I did detect from chatting with them an awareness that the quality was slipping. I do believe they have lost my wife and another friend when it comes to vegetables.

Been here many time to purchase their grass feed milk, probably the best milk we can find in Vancouver so far. The supermarket serves variety of products that is fair traded or organic, good quality. It s closed to our neighborhood. However, the milk we like is $1 more expensive than whole food and overall price of products is from medium high to high. Weigh your budget before going and probably buy something you really want to have a good quality.
