Very dissatisfied and frustrated with this group of clowns... Problem 1 happened about 2-3 years ago. Our youngest child was seeing a therapist for play therapy due to having a speech delay. therapist ended the sessions bc the therapist was |"having trouble understanding the child"... Play therapy is not supposed to be contingent on verbal speech, and is recommended for children wo hel them with their speech!
Problem 2 happened 1-1.5 years ago... My wife was working for a local non-profit, under supervision of a licensed therapist (not affiliated with Choices and Changes). This was so my wife could accumulate her post grad pre-license hours. Choices and Changes were contacted by the non-profit for an assessment. They recommended that my wife's contract be terminated. They claimed that counseling WITHOUT a license is unethical (it's not). My wifes supervisor had consulted his attorney, and the Indiana ethics board prior to setting this up, and was told that there were no concerns.
Choices and Changes pretty much threw my wife under the bus for their own personal gain (The non profits clients were told to go to Choices and Changes). This IS highly unethical, and very illegal. I am looking forward to the day when this scam organization gets closed down so that I can celebrate!
