Choctaw Casino & Resort Review

Huge Casino and lots of games! Had a blast and I won money here unlike other place's I've been to! Stayed at the Choctaw Inn very nice room we had with a nice view of the spa outside our window. Cute little kitty's running around outside the spa in the morning. Definitely coming back! Only 2 down falls though, water pressure was not good. It took forever to fill up the tub to just soak and relax and the there were only 4 channels to watch on our Tv in the room. Those are my only complaints.

It's a neat place especially if you're a gambler or you want some entertainment. But for tourist or just someone passing through with a broke down car... It really ain't s*** how to get five stars cuz I had more to play with there how to give a $6 it's Google's fault of their own my own I want to hear you I want to feel

You win some, you lose some. All in all a fun place to visit. Lots to see and do. Family friendly and something for everyone.

Cons: Some of the dealers have bad attitudes but I guess everyone is entitled to a bad day. I don't like the tossing of chips at the tables by the dealers. I know it's not Caesar's Palace but please be professional and courteous. Sliding chips to the players would be appreciated (and expected).

Pros: it's an hour from Dallas. Can't get lost.

Parking is horrendous, but I've never walked away empty handed

Lots of games, bowling, and tons of slot machines. This place was awesome. I would definetly come back.

Was disappointed to see more children than i believe should be in gambeling atmosphere. Didnt feel inviting as a casino should be.

I couldn't get a comp out them after 18 hours of table loosing play over a stack easy.

Very tight slots,spent a lot of money couldnt get any red screens every machine just kept taking money but no returns at all but i did try to drink 5000 in free cofee.

Fun atmosphere..... but way too smoky.. have to take the good with the bad. Had fun and eb

The coffee at the slot machines was terrible but the coffee I made in my room was great.

Been there a few times in the last few months. Went to players club ask if we could get a comp meals for me and my wife..they gave us five dollars a piece.and 15 dollars free play.any other casino we go to comp us 20 dollars a piece and 20 to 40 dollars free play guess we won't be going back to Durant casino again.

So much for CHOCTAW NATION, all I saw was ASIANS in this casino. I'm positive the English eradicated the CHOCTAW Indians many years ago. Ever since I been here in OKLAHOMA the only Indian I've seen, is the one on a billboard. Other than that, the "Chinese food" was HARDLY Chinese at all. With the watered down sauces that look like cat piss. It's FALSE advertisement to have CHOCTAW, as the name of this casino, and there's not a single Native American in sight. I was really looking forward to seeing them. This comes to show how the EUROPEANS have destroyed and monetized EVERYTHING indigenous, to THEIR advantage. #Gad, know that we are here. The 12 tribes are here, and we are rising.

Had a lot of fun here tonight, the only issue was too much smoke. I am not a smoker, but it was everywhere. Hard to enjoy the slots under these conditions.

Payoff is good, good experience and professional employees.

I had a great time at Choctaw casino in Durant. Highly recommend it for entertainment purposes

Was a very nice place had a ton of games had lots of different restaurants thats where wonderful. The rooms where truly great rooms! If you haven't been I suggest you take a one time get a way. An the staff of all was truly wonderful some would go out of their way to help if needed. I have not had a better weekend get a way in a long time!! Oh the pools are great 4 different size ones and they also have a place for personal massages and those are wonderful as well. Truly an amazing place!!!

Comfortable seating, clean when I was there. Audio is good and movie quality and lighting we're good.

Went in with $20 on a Sunday night, and came out with $220. in about an hour and a half.

Clean. Good atmosphere. Buffet could use some better food. The casino area's could definitely benefit from a better ventilation system.

Beautiful rooms with huge showers, lighted makeup mirrors, and extremely comfortable beds.

Slot machines are very tight (i.e. don't payout much). Customer service, so so. Restrooms not very conveniently located.

The casino overall is nice and pleasant. The district is an amazing place for families, however, the arcade is a bit pricey for what you get.

Bowling with the family was great and the food choices were good for my family outing.

Fun place but the smoking was everywhere and hard on the sinuses.

I put $70 in a $10 machine. Pushed the credit button to 3 credits. Didn't pushed the button and decided to cash out. The machine wouldn't let me cash out so I called over an attendant. Said the machine is "old" and could "NOT" give my money back. He said "You have to push the button"...forced to push the button..not mad I gambled, mad that there was nothing they could do..

Great upgrades/changes since we last went 3 years ago. Very clean and smelled great! Bowling alley and movie theater are very cool! Games were clean and staff was very friendly!

Great venue for concerts. We don't gamble much but they have tons of one armed bandits and a good amount of tables. Lots of good places to eat, very nice pool area of you stay at the hotel. Movie theatre and kids video game area if you take the kids.

My husband and I have visited many casinos we love playing slots. I give three stars to this casino because the price of their firm is very expensive. $ 33.50 per person is ridiculous, because the food is not very good and there is no variety. slot machines, we never win any of the prizes, only bonuses. We definitely do not come back to this place.

Always have a blast ! And so many machines to play on. They have practically every thing you would want in a local casino.

There were good service in the casino floor and the employees there are patient and kind to show new customers the ropes

Too crowded and way too much construction right now... I like to take my son to the district, I have to walk with a cane and a boot on my foot from surgery and no way can anyone that needs help get to the district easily or without having to stop repeatedly...

We received a great service from young lady at from desk named Moesha she understood my family needs and helped us out. She was very nice and polite great asset to Choctaw. We will back in near future. Thank you for great service.

Fun place to hang out, and if you're lucky you might leave with more than you came with.

Love The District and water park. Awesome place for a day of fun with the kids.

Cigarette smoke is too much. Beverage spots are too few and spaced out.

Staff is awesome! Accommodations were very nice, although a bit high. Comps are few and far between and the machines are TIGHT. Although my friends and I had a great time visiting we will not be gambling there again. I never expect to win at any casino but when you get nothing to the point of not even being able to play that's a bit much.

Went to the theater, nice, but the reclining seats aren't great... They don't really recline.

The food was horrible. Some places have a very disgusting food. But none more than this place. Defenitely not worth $27 per person. The service is also terrible.

ALWAYS a good time no matter how long you visit. Iam a big fan of Zuse and hes been good to me. Love the size, easy to get around and overall the only. Negative....its COLD.

Always fun to come here. They maintain the place and all the facilities pretty well. Make sure if you gamble to sign up for their players card, gives you free bonuses and accrues points.

Probably more Vegas-like than Winstar. Not much social distancing going on. Road construction around the place makes it frustrating to get in and out. Hopefully they get all of the roads done soon, but I doubt it.

Beautiful hotel amenities. Strange layout buy expected in a casino, to keep you gambling.

More slot machines than I have seen in one casino. Very large but a little crowded with all the machines. Not as many card tables as other places but enough. A little smokey inside. Recommend they create a smoking section or have a no smoking policy inside. I enjoyed the resort and casino. Good family entertainment with a movie theater and bowling alley and a nice pool.

Always a great time. Win or loose. All we ask is in the new tower your building...put in bathtubs. Would of loved a soak before bed time.

I really enjoyed myself, from bowling to gambling, and the arcarde game's. Their butterfields buffet was one of the best I've ever been to. The crab legs are to die for, and everything was seasoned to perfection!

This casino is geared more to the gambling tables. Many variations of blackjack, Hold em, and many more. With many places to eat and family fun like bowling, makes this a place to bring the entire clan.
