Choctaw Casino & Resort Review

Plenty of fun in the sun at their wonderful Oasis pool/slide!!

Would have been nice to have won, but we did get to play awhile

Choctaw is fantastic, with an amazing atmosphere and better mixed drinks than comparable places nearby. The food options include a buffet with a wide selection of food and a variety of sweets in the middle, numerous ither bars and joints. In addition, there is a movie theater, bowling alley, arcade, and pool to utilize. I go there semi regularly, and will continue to go there.

Went to gamble. Variety of machines is good. Smoking is still rampant but smell is not as bad as in past times I've went.

Dont plan on leaving with any of the casinos MONEY!

Good food friendly employee's, great gambling matchings, and great rooms.

Like the buffet , a great place to go and have a good time , and the people there ( the locals ) show it thank you Choctaw and Durant

No jackpots. .. but we enjoyed the atmosphere of the Casino . Friendly staff, hotel rooms are very nice.

Lots of machines down, being serviced or something.

Only the non alcoholic drinks are free. Lost my money in about 30 minutes. Not worth the drive.

I enjoy gambling here the only big downfall is the cigarette smoke! If you are a non smoker bring a mask as it is filled with heavy cigarette smoke and very hard to breathe. Recommend making the casino smoke free and having an outside designated smoking area. 2nd hand smoke is the worst.

Unlike Shreveport you can actually sometimes win some.

It's small. It stinks. A lot of machines were down. 3 of us played and didn't win.

Its extremely big, great if you have kids, arcade,cinema, lots of food choices, loved, will definitely go back.

Nice casino even has a place for the kids. The main area is smokey as hell but once you get to the no smoking section which is a nice size you can breath.

The Bamboo restaurant is ok, but it was not comparable to a Chinese restaurant. The veggies were over cooked, the sauces were a little off, save your cash and go to Panda Express, still not authentic, but much better.

It took an hour and a half for us to drive there from home, and although it is considerably smaller than Winstar, there is so much more to do! They have an arcade area, food court, bowling alley, and the staff is so much more pleasant to deal with compared to Winstar. There's also a quaint bakery there that has a variety of delicious desserts with very friendly and sweet employees. From decorations to the set up to the overall quality of the casino, it was a fun and entertaining experience. For us, it was definitely worth the drive!

Big casino, pay for drinks when playing. Pay outs fair. Food is okay

Great place to hang out and go and spend time with family and friends

Chowtow is worst than Winstar. Do not go there. They take all your money and switch up your freeplay days from week to week, so you have no idea what day to go play with your freeplay. It's SAD how the host treat people. And they have bugs in there Spa hotel. See pic below.DON'T GO!

This time room 3128 I was not happy. It sound like a vacuum was on all night long. No sleep at all.

Nice looking casino but thought the slots were tight

Stayed for 2 nights, Sunday and Monday. You have to wear a mask in public areas with the exception of the pool and if you are eating and drinking. Room was nice and clean, shower is huge. The beds are comfy and the pillows are awesome. Staff is great, polite, helpful and friendly.

Gilly's has a new menu and the food is much improved since before the Covid issue. The catfish is to die for, ribs were good also. Bamboo noodles was very good. I would eat at both places again.

We did this with some friends as a COVID-19 relief. We enjoyed the pools and casino. Make sure you bring a swimsuit. Overall it was very good value for our money.

Terrible comps. I play 1-2 times a week x 60 hands an hour of blackjack x $1 toke. They have made $50,000 + in time since I have been visiting the casino. Still not enough to even get a free hotel room on the weekend. Vegas gives me whatever I want yet I can't even get a room at the lodge. LOL. Once the Mega Casino opens up, will give my business to them and Winstar from now on. Tired of battling a idiotic comp program where a slot player gets whatever they want and a high roller gets nothing.

I like it sometimes you when and sometimes you don't.

Had a wonderful time. Well, you always do when your winning! All the workers were helpful and friendly. The security guards were very helpful when I got turned around and couldn't find my better half for over an hour. Couldn't of asked for a better experience!! Would give a higher rating than 5 Stars if I could.

The place seemed clean, although it was very cold in there, so colds I wish I had brought a jacket. There is plenty of choices for eating as well

We went to just the casino. We enjoyed a free drink from the soda fountain and played on the penny slots.

What else? Play within your means. Enjoy this nice casino!

Great place to lose your money and great place to find it

Like to stay there, but games don't pay anything like they use too. And the new reward system gets a -10, yes that's a minus 10.

Very busy when we arrived on Sunday but thinned out on Monday and Tuesday. Excellent food options. Gilley's chix fried chix was most excellent. Smoking rooms are available. Best casino resort in Oklahoma!!

Wonderful places to drop your cash now it's no horseshoe casino at you drink free at the those Louisiana casinos Oklahoma No good i want my Damn money back.

Overall a great place...I only gave it a 3 because it's so smokey and they try to cover up the smell with an awful airfreshner..the non smoking area has no wall barrier between the smoking so really does no good..also they could use some healthy choices for healthier food..not alot of options in that department.

Clean and lots of room to move around without being crowded. Staff was very friendly and helpful.

Great place. Everyone is so friendly and place is so clean. Our place to go unwind. Well worth the 4 hour drive for us. Can hardly wait for the newest building and casino floor is finished.

Fun! The coffee machine never works, but every time I go I have fun!

it sucks when other casinos have given up to $40 in freeplay, and this one gave me $5. lost all my money and I shouldn't have came on a Saturday night, the place was packed and parking was next to impossible. BUT, if I had lots of money to gamble away, I'd come back haha. I see the appeal and why people are addicted for sure.

I've been going for years and never win anything!! I've invested thousands of dollars and never one anything. I wont be going back. I go to winstar casino and win alot

Went for the Halloween event that was held for kids. It was amazing. They had alot of characters for the kids to take pictures with. Will definetly do it again

Like every Casino there is the ups and downs this ones down had to be the creepy guy following my girlfriend around the casino floor every table or machine she would sit at with in 5 minutes he would show up and make her want to leave. Security may need to be retrained in the body clues showing distress or discomfort.

Didn't use the hotel or casino. We go to the District and theater, as it's the very best family-friendly entertainment around. Can't wait for them to reopen the laser tag though!

Casino was great and it does not smell lol some casinos do. Very clean. We are and Gillrys, it was good, food was average.

Machines dont pay well as Winstar, vegas, or louisiana

Smaller than I expected... Not a great slot variety and not a lot of payouts either, wasn't too worthy of the 2+ hours drive we made, to completely lose. It looked good I guess...

The slots were "on the take" (Lol), the first day. But, they opened up on the next day... Win some, lose,some!

We always highly recommend this Choctaw property because they never disappoint

Fun entertainment however don't expect to take any $ home.

Spent a couple of hours playing those machines. Won some, lost some!

Stayed in the grand tower room was clean and ac worked wonderfully. Shower was amazing.

Choctaw is a great place - they are always fabulous about helping me & making sure my service dog and I are comfortable. Love going to the concerts for sure!!
