Chloe's Soft Serve Fruit Co. is a great alternative to frozen yogurt or ice cream. The flavors rotate, so there's usually something new to try. You can sample what's available and even combine two flavors in the smallest size cup.
We had the mango flavor - and it was too sweet. However, with the toppings, it tasted delicious, but the proportion of the actual soft serve to the amount of topping was unsatisfying....we were soon left with only cold and sweet mango flavored sorbet.
Perfect and delicious. The best ice cream I`ve ever had. Love the assortment of different flavors and toppings. Want to try them all.
If you re coming here get the mango flavor it s the best
Delicious!! I got a mix of strawberry and mango with a bunch of fruit toppings and chocolate on the top and it was so good. The workers were friendly and the prices are fine. Just a tiny bit High in my eyes but given the area it could be worse. Would recommend if you re looking for a refreshing snack.
This was absolutely delicious! Everyone needs to try Chloe's Fruit! It's refreshing and it just tastes so good. They have lots of toppings to choose from or you can try one of their signatures. I give this 5 stars and I will be back soon!
10/10 look at this beauty made by afsana! thank you! will be back!
I've had both their banana/chocolate soft serve swirl in a cone; as well as their mango soft serve. Both delicious, both dairy free!!
Non-dairy, tastes rich, add fruits and toppings. Fun.
Choco PB smoothie gave me energy boost I needed and satisfied my shake craving!!
AMAZING TASTE AND HEALTHY!!!! One of the most underrated food establishments in NYC!!!!
The issue with this is this place is it is called a vegan ice cream spot. And yes the ice cream IS vegan. But all of the toppings ARE NOT. There is no marking anywhere to tell you this. I found out because an employee there after a year of going there, told me that the items i was picking for my ice cream were not vegan but instead had dairy and gelatin. When I asked if people knew this she said many people do not. This place is a vegan hotspot. It's why many of us go. How could there not be a label. A star. Something to allow people to know that while the ice cream and waffles and many other items are vegan, small innocuous ones may not be. It's unethical to offer non vegan items spliced into a basically vegan store, without informing people
Amazing Place! Very welcoming and cooperative staff! I ordered Mango Madness sundae. It was really good. Best part is they don't use dairy products. A good palace for vegans to visit.
They have a fix combinations of toppings for a sundae. But if you don't want any of the toppings they will replace it anything available there of your choice.
The New York one is a small one. Only 4 persons can seat at a time in the store. They do have options for seating outside during summer.
Obsessed! I had it for the first time today and I absolutely loved it. I had banana/dark chocolate swirl with strawberries and chocolate chips with peanut butter on top. It tasted so fresh and delicious and best of all I didn't feel sick after lol. Also I never leave reviews but felt compelled that's how good it was
Chloe's simple combination of water, sugar, and real fruit is unlike anything else. Toppings galore and vegan waffles await for the sweet tooths.
Very tasty ice cream alternative. If you want to pretend to be healthy and have a really good sundae or shake, this is your place.
Cool place for lip smacking ice cream of many varieties and at a reasonable price. Worth a visit.
Nice small ice cream spot. Don't get the pretzel cone it's meh
Healthy vegan ice cream in a very busy location with moderate price and fast polite staff.
We loved the all fruit soft serve! It is hard to find a dairy free ice cream. We had the Mango Madness which was awesome! Wish they had one closer to our home!
The mango flavor was really good !!! I got the unlimited and I love it based on the trail . Good customer service
Update: They advertise as a vegan icecream shop and while the ice cream is vegan, they do not label the toppings in anyway, MANY of which ARE NOT VEGAN. I was warned by a few vegan employees, only because they cared to tell me based on respecting my choice. This is not only Not Communicated in anyway by the store (so basically hidden from you, by the blanket statement Vegan icecream shop), its also really dangerous and unfair to people with allergies or any religious beliefs and of course, people who have made a lifestyle choice. Some of the items have gelatin and others dairy. Be warned !!!!
If you are lactose intolerant but have a yen for ice cream, this is the place for you. Delicious, fruity and satisfying. There's several places to sit in this spot, too.
The servers here were really friendly, but the soft serve was mediocre. I doubt I'd go out of my way to visit again.
One of the best frozen soft serves. Plus it s vegan!! Dark chocolate is delicious
not bad vegan ice cream, but there needs to be more toppings that I could put on the ice cream.
Love this place! Vegan and delicious. The dark chocolate is my favorite.
I think the software is popular, but I was thirsty so I ordered a fruit smoothie. The clerk looked at the sign and confirmed the fruit to put. w But it was delicious! Just around $ 7 so it's expensive. 4 stars because I wanted to order another menu! There are many girls.
LOVE this place. A little pricey but their stuff is super tasty and the staff is very friendly. Lots of options and *feel* healthier than eating ice cream. Would recommend highly.
My gf and I had a waffle w ice cream on it. She thought it was ok but would not get it again. I did not like it but I'm pretty picky and it's around average so many people will probably like it.
Overall, Chloe's is a decent dessert place to visit when you're in the mood for ice cream or froyo but also actually want to be sort of health-conscious. I appreciate that they use just fresh fruit and sugarcane in their soft serve, but I just wish it was a tad bit less expensive. I tried the Crunchy Salty sundae (banana and dark chocolate soft serve with peanut butter & chocolate drizzle, pretzels, bananas, and chocolate chips), which was $6 before tax. I remember it being a decent size, though, so maybe check out Chloe's if you're in the area and up for a little guilt-free healthy indulgence.
Had a terrific time at Chloes today! Service and food is always amazing. I sometimes forget just how good Chloe's is so I try to go whenever it is warm!
I love love this. I'm in Alabama and I wish that I was able to visit her shop I have family in NYC and told them about it well they say there at home with the shop. I'm sad but I brought my mango pops from Publix and I'm going to buy 6 boxes today at 5.00 a box. I am Vegan moved here from South Florida and I'm trying to find my food but thanks Chloe for thinking about us in the small towns Blessings Empress.
Wow, I got a banana chocolate sundae. So good, and I didn't feel icky inside afterward like I normally do after these kinds of things.
Cute place, soft serve was tasty, staff was courteous, the floors need a deep clean desperately, but don't let that deter you too much.
Favorite soft service icecream place because vegan.
A very good ice cream place! It's not that sweet and it tastes natural. The texture of the ice cream is kinda like baby food. Very good!
Ah yessss....this is such a satisfying place for good soft serve ice cream. Everything here is gluten-free and dairy-free! Everything on the menu is delicious. You might need to visit this plqce a few times to try everything on the menu. Believe me, you wont be disappointed. I wish i knew of this place a long time ago. Forget Mr. Softies, this is the next best thing! Kudos!
Absolutely delicious! Fresh fruit flavors that are 100% vegan with healthy, vegan toppings. Loved the strawberry and banana! Will be back!
I think it's ok, not overly flavorful. Wouldn't call it a healthy alternative to icecream because it does have a lot of sugar. It's more sorbet than soft serve. We took the mango soft serve, and thought it was too sweet. Maybe other flavours are better.
Couldn't believe how good it was. I took my girlfriend here from NJ because she wanted to try it so bad. It was awesome. I had the Crunchy Salty Sundae.
If you're a fan of sweet savory goodness try the Crunchy Salty. It was a great after work treat !
Salty crunchy sundae is one of the best desserts in the city.
So delicious. Love the herb snow, black cherry ice cream and turkish coffee. Great sense of nostalgia that makes me miss my Iranian dad. And the staff are excellent.
This is a great place to visit when your sweet tooth is demanding satisfaction. My favorite combo is the dark chocolate topped with cocoa nibs, dark chocolate chips, gingersnap cookies, and peanut butter sauce. When I want to go for a super healthy option, I usually just go with a small serving and all fruit toppings.
I've never had a non-dairy, gluten free, kosher, vegan treat before so my reaction is purely based on taste. Note, this is not ice cream, nor fro-yo. That being said it was pretty good. You can tell water is used, but it was packed with flavor. I had dark chocolate. Service was great.
Great fruit soft serves that's not dairy! Their mango is a must try!
The 1st Deegan restaurant I went to and it was beyond what I expected! I got a light meal and it was quinao salad and the taco salad is amazing.
This place is the BEST. Even at my job I recommend to customers that they go here! I've tried almost everything on the menu and have never been disappointed and love the staff.
Love Chloe's so much! My 2 year old also loves going to get "ice cream". Great, fresh topping options
Pretty good, all flavors had a banana taste which was a little disappointing
I am really dissapointed at this place. It is supposed to be a "natural" gluten free place and when I asked the workers what the waffles are made of they didnt know. One of them nicely showed me the pakage of the waffle mix and my surprise was when I read the ingredients and the first one was WHITE WHEAT FLOWER, excuse me??????????? That is false advertisement!!!!! And that is play with people 's health!!!
Great change in typical dessert options in NYC. If you go closer to closing they may have run out of popular flavors! But overall really good! Not too sweet, and get the dark chocolate drizzle!
Hubby works down the block so I came in with girls for something cold. The staff was amazing. My daughter couldn't decide what to have and the girl behind the counter was a lot more patient than I. The ice cream wS delicious and their homemade popsicles are to die for. But their little canned iced coffees were legit. Thank you!!!!!
After my second visit, the bloom is coming off the rose. The place isn't aging well, and not just in decor. The menu couldn't be more confusing, and prices are high, even for New York. I'm still waiting on an exciting flavor, but they don't seem to change: banana, strawberry, tangerine and dark chocolate (what, you were expecting fruit?). The soft serve isn't very good, tasting watery and lacking that tart edge (in fact, any sort of edge).
The soft serve was delicious. I got the waffle me crazy sundae. Staff was not very friendly and the place seemed dirty.
This is my favorite yogurt place in NYC. Their combo sundaes are really good, but pricey. Everything is dairy free so it's a good place for vegans and lactose intolerant people. Anything with agave and granola is good. My favorite flavor is the banana (kind of like vanilla). Not too icy like sorbet, but not as creamy as yogurt.
I am a fro-yo enthusiast, so when I suggested to my friend we get dessert on Sunday afternoon, I automatically googled frozen yogurt shops in Union Square. I found Chloe's Soft Serve Fruit which I knew from Facebook posts, had been sampled by a friend of mine. The place is located on a side street just of Broadway and E 17th street. There is not a lot of room for seating, and whether you find a seat may depend on what time of day/week you go. There are five to six flavors to choose from, most of them are fruit-based (with the exception of dark chocolate). They are fat-free (again with the exception of dark chocolate). You can also add a variety of toppings to your cup or cone.
It was natural ice-cream, but there was nothing out of the ordinary to my small cup of mango fruit yogurt and almonds. Furthermore, I was overcharged at the counter by a dollar (possibly because I paid with a debit card). If you are on a strict diet I would recommend this location, as the ice-cream tasted very natural. However, if you are open to trying other frozen yogurt venues I'd recommend Tasti-Delight, Red Mango, or 16 Handles.
I went here because I am a health-conscious vegan. I thought it was over-priced and somewhat icy since they add sugar water to the soft serve (compared to 100% banana "nice" cream, i.e. whipped frozen bananas). I'd give the place a try, but don't recommend it highly. Seems hyped up. (I have not tried the popsicles, only the soft serve).
Good soft serve fruit. Many choices. The mango is great.
I m a pretty positive guy overall, but this place wasn t worth a penny for their yogurt. Waffles were fresh, fruit was good, display of food was awesome, but the frozen yogurt was terrible. Bland and weird consistency. Smelled bad when you walk in the doors as well.
Incredible stuff. Can't believe its vegan. Such a great way to replace sweets!
Great for a hot day in NYC. Get the Mango soft serve, so delicious and not too sweet. The strawberry and pineapple flavors are good too, but too tart for my taste.
This is such a friendly location. The pops and shakes are delicious. Alexandra is a great host.
Delicious, fruit-tastic frozen treats even your kiddos will love! Only half a block away from Union Square. Plenty of delicious, real fruit soft serve, plus fresh fruit toppings. Friendly, happy staff!
Very good but also very expensive. Can't understand how they got one $ rating when a simple fruit pop is nearly $4...
I wandered over to Chloe's Soft Serve with a few friends after hearing them rave about it. I thought I was walking into another generic froyo place, but I was surprised to hear that everything they make is just from fruit, water, and cane sugar. I was definitely skeptic at first, but I figured I'd play along.
I ordered a small pear flavor and just had it plain - they offer toppings, but I wanted to try out the flavor by itself. I was surprised - it really did taste like I was biting into the fruit!
Vegan, amazing natural tasting flavors, affordable. What mire do you want?
