This beautiful 15th century cloister is located a stone's throw from Piazza Navona and hosts always interesting and appreciated exhibitions. On weekends you risk having to wait even two hours in a row before being able to enter, which is why booking is highly recommended (especially for those who move with children) although on the site it is not very clear how to do it (reason for the lack of full score) .

The Renaissance cloister is the work of Donato Bramante, with a square plan with two superimposed orders. The lunettes on the ground floor are frescoed. The property hosts temporary exhibitions. Currently the works of Turner of the Tate gallery until Aug. 2018.
I advise you to inquire well before visiting the exhibitions in the cloister because they are very publicized and well publicized so that sometimes they disappoint expectations.

The building is already very beautiful in itself and the exhibitions are always well organized and well explained. I also liked this last one by Banksy a lot even if, obviously, the protocol relating to Covid is very strict, my group also had an exceptional guide.

Chiostro Del Bramante is an extraordinary example of Renaissance architecture. It is the work of Donato Bramante (1444-1515) who, having moved from Milan to Rome after the fall of Ludovico il Moro, will become here the first architect of Pope Julius II and will be Michelangelo's great rival. It is part of the complex which also includes the adjacent Church of Santa Maria della Pace where the famous Sibyls of Raphael are located.
Home to prestigious exhibitions and events, it is certainly one of the most beautiful exhibition spaces in the capital.

An incredible charm for this place, as only in Rome is possible. Small, beautiful, elegant, a true Renaissance jewel. The cloister also hosts contemporary exhibitions. At this moment J. Plensa .... but the cloister deserves regardless and probably the lines and the architectural cleanliness would be better seen ... Magic.

Since we are art lovers and frequent visitors, we also wanted to get closer to these expression of "art", if we want to call it that. We found the DREAM sensory journey ridiculous, boring and devoid of interesting content. The staff continually disturbed the "path" by chatting to each other aloud and unkind to visitors (we have seen multiple events). The whole? For the modest sum of 14 per person !!! Madness. Sconsigliatissimo.

I had the pleasure of seeing the "Love" exhibition and I was positively impressed! Both from the impact setting, in which no detail has been left to chance, and from the architectural beauty of the small cloister in the historic center of Rome. I recommend to visit it!

Hidden corner of Rome, for tourists, curious and experts. Cloister of an old convent converted into an exhibition space with temporary exhibitions by various artists. On the upper floor a coffee break is possible, comfortably seated between the columns and the elevations.
