Glad we went as part of the Blue Star Museums program. Not much for older kids.
Glad we went as part of the Blue Star Museums program. Not much for older kids.
I don t like that they don t follow CDC guidelines ad those two and under not wearing a mask. They made my two year old wear a mask and I am vaccinated as had to wear one. I work for the Indiana Department of Health and was visiting. I will not be returning back here.
It s a second time we are coming here and again we are so disappointed. First time they were closed in the middle of week. Yes, we didn t expect it. Second time they just didn t let us coming. I understand that we needed to buy tickets online but I didn t know it. It s my lesson. They should be more flexible. They could let coming woman with two little kids especially when it s raining!
We are having a great time. While not ideal to wear a mask, children adapt and still have fun if adults let them .
Our kids, ages 10-6, always have so much fun here. We spent 5+ hrs here. The museum lab now has a rope climbing area that was a bit hit.
It s amazing how much work and love was put in there. very good place for our 2 yr child.
I am not sure why they are making 2 yr old wear mask. I believe it is 3 yr and up. 2 yr still very young.
We took our 3 years old. You must pay the tickets before going or a day before at least, they sold out so quickly.
It was amazing, lots of activity to do in different levels suites everyone . The cafeteria is close so pack your lunch. There is a water play aria so grab little ones swim suit and shoes and have fun
What a great place. I've been to a handful of children's museums, but this has got to be one of the best, most interactive ones I've been to. The amount of stuff to do was amazing and almost perfectly paced to take up a whole, single day.
With a variety of stations, from painting to magnets to slides to water toys, there is a ton of stuff for kids of many ages. Even I had a really fun time with a lot of it.
There is also a ton of Jim Henson and Mr. Roger's memorabilia which is really neat for the older folks who actually remember them.
Well done. Please check it out.
This is a great Museum. We've been here a few times since moving to pgh back in June. We are now annual pass-holders.
They have a comprehensive approach to supporting the STEAM subjects and providing hands on activities for ages baby through teen. The new Museum Lab next store for older kids is a great new addition to the campus. I look forward to exploring it more. There's a cafe in the main building as well. Parking is $4 in the museum lot.
We recommend this place for anyone with kids.
What a fun time we had! I am a nanny of twin 15 month old girls and we were able to spend an hour or so in the museum exploring! Definitely would have spent more time if I had someone with me to help out haha. Can t wait to go back and actually explore more of the attractions.
