Waited 3 hours, not to be called. When I asked why haven t I been called. Well other kids are sicker than mine. Took my 3 year old with 101 fever vomiting all day since 9am and complaining of a headache and tummy ache. I guess my kid is not sick enough. Got to the emergency room at 9:40 and left 12:36. Still haven t called my child s name.

Service very very bad

Service very very bad

We waited for the doctor for more than two hours in the room, and no one was asking.. and when I went out to ask, I found no one outside. I found the security guard. I asked about the manager So someone called Mary, I think, came. I asked her, we have been waiting for two hours, where is the doctor She replied coldly that he is coming !!
Told her how can we wait for two hours while my child is Crying how many doctors are in the hospital? She said with a smile, one doctor, and i told her emergency hospital for children with only one doctor, and she replied why not

Choc has a horrible craniofacial team doctor! My daughter hasn't been seen once since she started going there in 2018. The team in Denver said it was critical for cleft children to have bone surgery at a specific age because of growth phases. Every time we met with the team there was always an excuse as to why the dentist couldn't be there. This place doesn't care as much as they say about the care of children! Horrible craniofacial team!

CHOC Genetic, Metabolic and Neurology Clinics are second to none. The staff from Reception to Nurses, Counselors and Physicians are courteous, compassionate, professional, caring and respectful. After 14 years of searching for a diagnosis for my son, the team at CHOC arranged for comprehensive Genetic testing that gave us a diagnosis and the answers to explain my son's complex disorder and disabilities. Additionally, the CHOC Lab Team provided a calming and relaxed environment for my son and, for the very first time, his blood was drawn without him going into a form of autism-anxiety related shock. I am forever grateful to the wonderful people who work at CHOC.

I cannot say more great things about CHOC. I am just a normal mom to a daughter who unfortunately had to make several visits and stays at CHOC. I cannot speak more highly of the Neuro team on the fifth floor. They have done SO much for our family I cannot even count. And they all did it with a smile. They patiently walked through my daughter s diagnosis and never made us feel like a burden. They prioritized us during emergencies and have been so wonderful at validating my fears while also trying their best to reassure me and my husband. The nurses are ALL wonderful and always willing to help. The doctors- especially Dr. Adams and Dr. Stenari (spelling? ) have been ridiculously knowledgeable and helpful since the beginning of our journey. Although our daughter has a rare condition, the staff are educated enough to treat our girl who is now stable and doing so much better. Our initial pediatrician even overlooked our girl s condition and even mocked us. But I will forever be grateful to these doctors, nurses, and staff who have put my daughter s health as their priority. thank you CHOC!

I love how fast CHOC can blindside you with a big bill after you already paid what was "owed after insurance" at the time of the visit, yet it takes them almost 2 months to tell you if your child's heart murmur is okay... oh ya his pediatrician and i are still waiting for those results after persistently calling for them that we were suppose to have within the week of our visit. Guess money is more important to them than my child's well-being.

I would have given the ER 5 stars because everyone was helpful and amazing except our actual doctor last night. When my teenage son was explaining his injury to head/neck during a basketball game, she literally rolled her eyes at him. It was late, but not that late. Totally unprofessional. Everyone else, KUDOS & thank you!

The staff and medical team are overwhelmed they can t deliver the best care possible.
We haven t been there for a while, I have noticed that their standard definitely not what it use to be, I wish Choc wasn t the only Children s hospital in OC. Lately I have been taking my kids to Hoag.
