Beware of Rachel she has very poor judgement, she will dig into your kids head to make them say things they don't mean to later call cops and child services on you, cops showed up and agreed that she made a very poor decision and didn't handle the situation accordingly, cops were very caring and said they had no concerns and we agreed it was stupid and unprofessional to try to get a family in trouble with false and no real concerns. So if your kid's parent passed away stay away from Rachel who instead of helping will add drama and trouble to your life on her 2nd visit. Also spoke to Jody she said that's not the way they handle things but story changed next day when I spoke to Luis who said that is how they handle things, then he tried to push services away from us and mentioned many many times we could go somewhere else I told them that was not going to happen and to send another therapist soon, hope they follow through and be professional for once

The staff is always very friendly, and it is very much a judgement-free zone. Staff genuinely cares about my child and strives to give the best services and tools to help her. Has a nice waiting room which usually has a kid-friendly movie playing. Place is very clean and tidy, even with the renovations going on.

I really like the people who work here. But even though we live below the poverty line we are not eligible for all the other programs that are offered here. It's because we have Kaiser (medi-cal) and Kaiser will not approve the other stuff. In order to take advantage of all of the programs offered here we must go through straight medi-cal and if we do this my child will have to see a different therapist and that wouldn't be a good idea since he already has a great relationship with his current one.

The center provides a wide range of services to support children who have experienced trauma, abuse, neglect, or other challenging life circumstances.

One of the primary goals of the Children's Center is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children can heal from their past experiences. The center offers individual counseling, group therapy sessions, and other therapeutic interventions that are designed to help children process their emotions and develop healthy coping skills.

In addition to providing therapeutic services, the Children's Center also works closely with families and caregivers to ensure that they have the support they need to care for their children.
