This program offers counseling services as well as other resources such as legal aid referrals or housing assistance when needed.
Another way that CACTX helps local centers is through research initiatives aimed at improving outcomes for abused children across Texas. Through partnerships with universities across the state; researchers at CACTX conduct studies on topics related to child abuse prevention & intervention which inform best practices used by advocates statewide.
Public awareness campaigns are another important aspect of what Children’s Advocacy Centers do; this helps raise awareness about issues related to child abuse prevention & intervention while also promoting their services available statewide through various media channels including social media platforms like Facebook or Twitter among others
