Horrible investigators and do not put the child first. Proof was given for child neglect abuse and drinking with a minor in the car and the investigator did nothing. Called a team meeting and allowed a criminally charged abuse and another with dwi s in the meeting. Horrible. Now i can see why so many kids can never get justice.

The place itself is fairly clean. The volunteers treat every parent and assume your child is here with CPS. Asked to speak with child s therapist and the lady at the front was very rude and unethical. I do not recommend this facility.

Child Advocates of Fort Bend is an organization I am familiar with primarily because of my membership with the Exchange Club of Sugar Land. They are a great organization, providing needed services to the community.

About Child Advocates Of Fort Bend

Child Advocates of Fort Bend is a non-profit organization that provides a voice for children who have been victims of abuse and neglect. The organization operates as both a CASA program and an advocacy center, working tirelessly to heal the hurt and break the cycle of child abuse.

The mission of Child Advocates of Fort Bend is to provide a safe, nurturing environment for children who have experienced trauma. The organization believes that every child deserves to be heard, protected, and supported during their time of need. With this in mind, Child Advocates offers a range of programs designed to meet the unique needs of each child.

One such program is the Court Appointed Special Advocate (CASA) program. This program trains volunteers to serve as advocates for children in court proceedings related to abuse or neglect cases. CASA volunteers work closely with judges, attorneys, social workers, and other professionals involved in these cases to ensure that the best interests of the child are being met.

In addition to its CASA program, Child Advocates also operates an advocacy center that provides support services for children who have experienced abuse or neglect. These services include counseling, therapy sessions with licensed therapists trained in trauma-informed care techniques; forensic interviews conducted by trained professionals; medical exams performed by pediatricians specializing in child abuse; and case management services designed to help families navigate complex legal systems.

Child Advocates' programs are designed not only to address immediate needs but also long-term solutions aimed at breaking cycles of violence within families. By providing support services such as counseling and therapy sessions for both victims and perpetrators alike - Child Advocates aims at healing entire families rather than just individual members.

The impact made by Child Advocates on Fort Bend County has been significant over its 30-year history since it was founded back in 1991. The organization has served thousands upon thousands of children throughout its existence - providing them with hope when they needed it most while helping them find their voice again after experiencing unspeakable trauma.

In conclusion: If you're looking for an organization dedicated solely towards helping abused or neglected kids get back on their feet again - look no further than Child Advocates Of Fort Bend! Their commitment towards making sure every single kid gets heard & receives proper care is truly inspiring!
