They ended up dropping my case. Something good came out of it. I ended up before a judge on my own and I won my case! Did not need him after all!

Chihak took my disability case when other attorneys would not. He willingly worked around issues that others turned their nose up at, and he represented me extremely well. He was thorough, and walked me through everything I needed to do. The court session was a breeze, and I won my case with minimal effort on my side. Would highly recommend.

When I hired this firm in 2016, there wasn't any "red flags". Then sometime later (late 2016 or early 2017) these people started screening their calls. Meaning you always get a phone recorder and are forced to leave a message, if you are lucky, maybe they'll call you back. They missed a contact call with me 3 months before the hearing, so they didn't have my most up to date medical records. The attorney although nice, was obviously just out of law school. Look, these are disability cases! Don't screw around with Social Security! People need to win their cases so they don't end up HOMELESS!!! Do yourself a huge favor and save a lot of stress by AVOIDING Chihak & Associates. They did absolutely NOTHING and I received an UNFAVORABLE DECISION!!!

I could not be happier with my choice of disability attorneys. They were quick to respond to my questions while I waited for a decision on my case, which they won for me ! And months later, when I thought our business was completed, I received a call from them to help me navigate the Medicare maze. Customer service above and beyond!

First and foremost, Chihak and Associates has an incredible 20 plus years in this arena. To put it bluntly they're not pushovers. They are more than qualified to source and select key features of your case thereby building a clear and concise path to awarding you a favorable decision.

Secondly and just as important is communication with the individual. I'll always stress this in any situation; communication is the key factor for success when two or more moving parts are required. The language in this area sounds like english, works like a short order cook but hits like a mac truck. There is no way to make it more clear, you need someone who wants the same thing as you do. These attorneys do just that.

In closing I was lucky to have an interpreter knowledgeable and resourceful at my side during the trial.

When I initially became disabled I was represented by a firm associated with my employers long term disability insurance company. I was with them for as long as my LTD lasted, which was only 3 months (that's par for the course with LTD). They scrubbed every medical report for "a good day" and said I'd be fine in a few months. Four weeks later the law firm dropped me sighting "not enough evidence." I was devastated. I called other attorneys, and shared my story only to have them turn me away for the same reason. These are the Social Security Disability and SSI experts. It is 100% of what they do and it shows. Always took my calls, always answered my questions. Got my claim approved, they took care of everything. Even helped me get my Medicare setup. I have already referred a family member to them.
