Chicopee Ski & Summer Resort Review

It's not a mountain or anything, but for what we have to choose from living in Kitchener this hill isn't bad for being in town, the season pass is over priced though I rather drive to Milton and save over $200 on a season pass.

Great place to take the family but if your an experienced skier or snowboarder this might be a bit to easy.

This was my second skiing experience and was amazing. I took discover monday package which was worth because it included one hour training, rental and access to all lifts. Though training was for 1 hour, staff was ready to help at any point of time. Very friendly and helpful staff. At the end of day I was quite satisfied because I was able to ski from medium level slop.

My first ever ski season lessons and they were amazing. Instructors are very helpful and patient. All staff at Chicopee are very friendly and professional.

AJ is a great employee. Very nice person. On the other hand, I really wondered why after I got my lift ticket, they made me sit in the cafeteria until more people came up. They thought multiple people should go at once. I was stuck waiting.

Cool little tube park - staff was helpful for our event. Lodge was really nice and had decent food options.

Kids had a great time zip-lining and playing on trampolines and climbing structures. Staff were helpful and efficient, even when they seemed busy.

Overall great place with friendly people only issue is that it's preaty icey on the bigger slopes but i blame poor weather more then the park other then the only other thing is the long wait lines on the smaller bunny hill. Overall its a great place

Best place to snowboard/skii when your in town. They teach you every step of the way. I would recommend this to everyone.

Love skiing at Chicopee. The place is nearby, family oriented, good customer service with decent fees... highly recommend it.

The zip lining was really fun. There is a slight jolt at the end of the line where the spring brake is, just a heads up.

Expensive from r what you get, but if your not willing or able to get to blue mountain, then head here.
Small hill. Tubing is fun.

They told me Monday it would be open today and I go there because there is a buttload of snow. Turns out it opens next week. There was more than enough snow. In fact they were skiing/snowboarding down it because there were tracks. Get better management and be ready for the snow.

Quaint place .. great upper deck and a lovely place for a wedding ceromony in the woods

This place has great food and the ski hills are patrolled and checked daily. Very quick service to pickup lift tickets and rentals

Fun place to go skiing, however it's extremely expensive considering how tiny it is.

I was visiting for an obstacle course run, but Chicopee was a great looking place that I definitely would come back to. The beach volleyball courts were great, the course was amazing and there are tons of activities that I would love to do!

Great lift ticket pricing and reasonable rental rates, excellent food in the resturaunt!

Chicopee is a fantastic ski destination. If you are interested in learning to ski, this a great place to do it. The hill is well thought out, the instructors are well organized, and all of the staff are warm and welcoming. In addition to the ski hill there is a beautiful lodge with an indoor ticket center, store, rental shop and changing area. Upstairs you ll find a cafeteria and restaurant. The deck is a great place to enjoy a warm drink while taking in the sun and watching the snow riders.

Recently attended a wedding here. The establishment is beautiful but the staff made it really special. Very attentive. I would recommend this place for a wedding. Accessibility needs were met by all guests

Very small hill with sometimes good, but also sometimes mediocre customer service. My primary hill due to proximity, but when asked I always recommend others.

Awful experience today. Sunday Febr.4 Tech decided not to show up and nobody else can help to wax my skis. So after I bought my daily pass, I was told too bad too sad but I can rent for additional $33+tax skis for the day. We came to ski all the way from Elmira to teach our 3 year old. We had to pack and leave. Very disappointed in the service.

Great place to learn and to warm up. Great for night snowboarding/skiing. Lots of families on the hills.

Lots of fun. The all access pass will take you about 5 hours of fun.
Zip lining is obviously the best thing. It's a pretty long ride. Definitely do it again. Groupon deal makes it a definite visit. Worth the trip.

Great local ski hill for beginners and also intermediate skiers looking to stay in shape for the bigger hills. Nice Chalet with good food options.

A fantastic local ski and snowboard location, minutes from the expressway, lots of parking, varied terrain, great beginner area. Great deck for sunny days. Good Wifi

Amazing place to learn to ski. Very family friendly. My kids love it here. Docked one star because the waits for the lifts can be long.

Great time at Chicopee! Hills are very small and the runs are short but for a small hill this is great value. Instructors for our kids were excellent - very positive and kept the kids engaged.

My daughter loves going and the staff are always great!

This place is the best beginner ski hill in Ontario!

The tubbing is fun. Lots of walking/its a workout! The tubes go pretty quick

Snow was surprisingly good for late season, spring skiing. A beautiful day of skiing complete with a delicious beverage on the lovely patio. Patio has comfortable seating and a great view of ski hill, would be perfect for parents who don't want to ski while their kids do, but still want to keep an eye on them!

For a small hill, it's lots of fun. Friendly staff, ample parking, well-groomed trails and convenient for KW residents. I wish they would split Saturday and Sunday into 2 time slots with half day options, but it's still pretty cheap for a few hours of fun. I would recommend you lock your gear when you go in for lunch, dinner or a beer, it's not uncommon for theives to be hanging around just like any other ski area.

Everything was great but no toilet paper? In any of the stalls. For the price we are paying, you should at least keep the washrooms refreshed. Food staff were great!!

This place is great for learning! The people are super nice but as any place that's great for learning, it's smaller. We actually had our ceremony here and that was amazing. Highly suggest this as a venue!

Great hills for learning to ski. Lines can be a little long and is slightly overpriced for what it is - but with not much else in the area they can charge what they want.

Very nice place to start as experience skiing or snowboarding. The mountains are medium size and there is a larger one. They are also super entertaining. The staff is young and very friendly to everyone. They should advise you at first because you don't know where to go, but then they help you with everything! I recommend!! (Food prices are a bit high)

Pretty awesome place for learning to Ski / Snowboard. Multiple awesome long beginner hills. Good for beginners looking to become intermediate and advanced as well. On site food and coffee is pretty good as well. Haven't tried their on site beer.

Very nice place close to kitchener. Decently priced as well. Restaurant inside for quick warm drinks or bite after cold ski or snowboarding. Majic carpet and lifts are available as well

Amazing! Their food is awesome! But they could add a few more hills. :)
