After the Camp Fire, Chico Electric put my house on a Generac generator. It is a seamless operation now when the power goes out. Brant did a great job, following the operation through several power outages. Chico Electric has been with us through the build, installation of the solar system and through the Fire. They are considerate, on budget and timely. Highly recommended!
Setting up an appointment was fast and easy. Technician Peter arrived on time, assessed the problems in an efficient and professional manner, and completed the repairs in a timely fashion. The whole experience could not have been better and the charge for the work was very reasonable. We will be using this company again!

Chico Electric is hosting an event soon as part of a recall effort against two City Council members. I would not recommend any business that would be so brazenly partisan and would be so willing to divide the community. It's sad, as I had a good opinion of the company before this. I have solar panels from a competitor on my home, and have thought about adding a battery, but I will exclude Chico Electric from my search when I'm ready for that, as I cannot abide such a reckless decision. A company willing to promote a smear campaign against Mayor Stone and Councilman Ory, two well-liked and highly esteemed gentlemen within the community, clearly cares very little for the city or its people.

Home experience.... I had PGE come out twice to fix my electrical problem in my home. PGE did not fix it after replacing the wires from the power pole to my home. I called Chico Electric, thinking don't call them because they are always overpriced, and the great technician knew how to fix the problem within 5 mins. Cost under $150. Thank you Chico Electric.

Shame on Chico Electric. You advertise and appear community friendly. You do solar panels, according to all the pictures. That's a main way that we can save our precious earth and vastly improve sustainability. Yet Chico Electric is proving itself partisan to an effort to overturn democracy for Chico. Its hosting a signing to recall our Mayor and Councilman who have put vast efforts into improving community safety, progressing our sustainability efforts. They want our Conservative Council back and haven't even given this one a chance. The Conservatives, like Chico Electric's Management, deny climate change even exists. That's clearly their stance. They don't care about us, Chico and our Paradise community. They care about big-money only.
