I had my first baby here last fall and had a wonderful experience! The care here was wonderful! Dr Whiting was exceptional! He was very knowledgeable and also made me feel calm throughout my entire high risk pregnancy. The nurses and midwives were so nice and helpful during my stay and really make you feel special. The facility is beautiful and well maintained from the inside out. The food here is delicious as well! We traveled 3 hours for every visit and it was so worth it! I would highly recommend having your baby here!

I am rating and reviewing this hospital as low as ...

I am rating and reviewing this hospital as low as possible due to the unprepared and unreasonable treatment shown to my cousin during her pregnancy. She was given a date to be enduced and was then rescheduled not once, not twice but three times in one week. 2 days to be exact. Ridiculous!! After we all, (we have a huge and excited family), rescheduled and rearranged our work and personal schedules, as well as our attitudes, to accommodate to this absurdity, we assumed everything was set as planned for the next date that we were given. As we were told, my cousin was admitted at midnight the evening prior to the given date. Everything seems to be okay, right? WRONG!! During the early morning hours, while we are all trying to get some rest for our adventure to welcome our newest addition, we were informed AGAIN not once, not twice, but THREE times that the time had been changed in which they would begin the procedure. At this point we are HIGHLY aggravated, and running on little to no sleep. However, we understood that there were things happening that were beyond the nurses and doctors control. We, as a family, calmly held our cool and prayed that everything would still go as planned. To our horror, we were informed that there were not ANY labor beds available and not enough nurses to accommodate the women, including my cousin, that were scheduled to be enduced that day. Now, while she was not in active labor, this day was prepared for and our ENTIRE family had made accommodations to be there, only to have it thrown in our face for a FOURTH time that she would be sent home. I find this all extremely unprofessional, and utterly ridiculous. We now have people, whom have paid for vacations in advance ,that may not be able to attend the birth of this precious angel because this facility does not have their act together!! I recommend that if you plan on using this facility as your place to give birth that you consider waiting until your child comes on their own and not through enducement. Do NOT allow them to toss you and your family around as they have done mine. Thank you, and have a nice day.

I had surgery here yesterday & had to stay overnight. It was the best hospital stay I've ever experienced.
The entire staff from my Dr to my nurse's were very attentive and extremely patient. They took the time to explain any questions I had, I never had to wait long for someone to answer my call light. Many times they just came in to check on me after surgery. Before surgery they made me feel so at ease because I was very nervous.
Every single one of them deserve a pat on the back. I was very impressed. I didn't know hospital's like this even existed.
Thank you to the whole staff from the bottom of my heart.

Sincerely,
Heather Dyson

Tried telling me I couldn't leave after being there for 10 and half hours and got sick of it and decided to try and find somewhere else that would actually help me

Would give zero stars if I could honestly. Most things at the hospital is great! BUT if you re needing to go to the women s clinic or the ER be prepared to wait. Even if you have an appointment. I wish I could say this only happens rarely but it happens nearly every time I m here, I show up 10-15mins early for my appointment to wait an hour +. What s the point of me having an appointment when I never get seen at that time? I get stuck waiting well over past my appointment time and it happens every time I come to the women s clinic, what s the deal???

I have been to the specialty clinic for two different issues, imaging department, the women's clinic, the lab, and the ER at the Chickasaw Nation Medical Center in Ada. The only complaint I have had was with several of the ER Doctors and a few of the nurses. I did have a couple of nice ER docs a couple of times I went but some of them were absolutely terrible! The clinics are amazing though and the people that work in them are so nice.

This place is terrible!!!!!! Went to primary dr. she had us go to the er here, we live 2 hours away. Once we were there we waited another 2 hours to be seen by the er dr. Except he really didn t try to help! Said her case was rare and he couldn t help her. In fact he was extremely rude and condescending. Sent us home with no help!!! Said it would be a waste of resources, I would not recommend this hospital to anyone!!!!!

They have taken excellent care of my wife and kids. In and out of ER in less than an hour one time and two hours another time. That s with medications in hand from their facility pharmacy. They are proficient with setting up appointments, on time with appointments, friendly and honestly they provide the best care in this part of the state (originally from the Tulsa area) in my opinion. They are great...so thanks for the awesome care!

I have some female problems and was referred to the OBGYN in Ada. My husband and I both had to take off work and drive 2 hours to be seen by no one. We waited in waiting room for an our before Dr. PARKER came to talk to me.she just told me that there is nothing that she could do for me and wondered why I was there. Why in the world did they even schedule me an appointment then?. This is a hospital and not a small clinic, you would think they would be more with it.

Dr. Nwankwo is the man!
The entire nursing staff is super friendly.
Got us what we needed and asked for.
They care for your child. Im a first time parent and they answered every question and went into detail.
The rooms are super clean and the food is pretty good as well. There was not a worker who we encountered who was unfriendly or unhelpful.
Thank everybody so much!

I've been here three times. This first was a consu...

I've been here three times. This first was a consultation for getting my wisdom teeth removed. It went great.
The second was the actual procedure. I had a panic attack after my gum was cut and told the dentist I didn't want to do it anymore. He said to the ladies in the room "give her the laughing gas." That didn't work as my nose was stuffed from crying from my panic attack. I told him I wanted my mom. He argued with me until he finally got my mother because he wasn't going near my mouth again without her in the room. They finally get her and she says to pull the one tooth, because they have to, and we left. That happened last year and now I'm terrified to go to any dentist. He was really nasty about me not wanting the rest pulled out.
The third I feel was a complete waste of time. I drove an hour and a half for a consultation for surgery on my gallbladder. I get there and am called back within 45 mins. A lady walks me to the very back room where she didn't move anything out of the doorway so I had to squeeze by with my toddler. The nurse take my vitals and asks the normal questions and leaves. I wait not too much longer for the surgeon to come in to ask more questions. Everything I did with that lady could be been done over the phone. She didn't even shake my hand as I was leaving. It's really frustrating to drive that far to be weighed and have my blood pressure checked. I could've done that at my local clinic and then spoke to her on the phone about everything else or even video chat. Then I'm told that she's positive I need the surgery, but people walk around with gallstones all the time and to try a couple things and come back in a month. Why can't she just call and ask? Instead I might have to drive all the way back with my toddler to be weighed and get my pressure checked to talk to a surgeon that doesn't even lay a finger on you to make you feel better.
You get what you pay for and I'm doing just that now, looking for a surgeon that I'll have to pay copays and stuff just so I can get medical treatment because I'm in constant pain.

Had my 2nd baby here and was glad I chose to make the drive rather than go back to the hospital my 1st had been born at. All the staff I encounter had been helpful, understanding, and polite. The midwives were excellent and made the experience less painful with pure motivation and encouragement. The rooms were clean and I enjoyed the food. I now continue to go here for other treatments as needed and so far have not had a bad experience.

Dr Nwankwo is the most amazing doctor! All the nurses are amazing in the birthing center...I can t thank them enough! I had a c-section here and by far the best experience I have ever had! I can t remember the anesthesiologists name but she went above and beyond for me. I ve had 3 pregnancy and delivered my first 2 at St Anthony s in OKC and my last here at CNMC. There is no comparison between the 2 this place puts St Anthony s to shame. I only wish I would have delivered all my children at CNMC with Dr Nwankwo. They will definitely take care of you and your new bundle of joy.

Came here back in 2011 and received excellent care and treatment. Had a new visit with the dental staff here today to receive dentures. The nurse was so friendly I couldn't help but talk to her. Then the doctor came in and this guy was awesome. He answered all my questions about my dentures and left me feeling like I was in great hands. This facility has treated me better than any other doctor I've been to. I truly hope someone sees this and shares this with higher ups. Great service.

I was brought the CNMC late Thursday evening by ambulance. I was pretty sick.. From the time I got there in the ER untill I was discharged, I was in the best care! The Er nurse on duty that helped me was exceptional and I just loved her. When I got to my room, the nurse were AWESOME and treated me and my mother so wonderful. There were 2 nurses that I just absolutely loved one was named Joani and I cant remember the other girls name . she had blonde hair with black glasses. They were so sweet and treated me and my family with so much respect. ACTUALLY they all did but those 2 stood out. I just wanted to say thank you to the sweet ladies that helped me God bless you ALL!

I was absolutely blown away by the care I received. Lots of others have said the same but let me add one more things. A few days after I got home from having surgery, I received a get well soon card signed BY EVERY SINGLE PERSON WHO GAVE ME CARE. The surgeon, the anesthesiologist, every nurse, the woman who brought me meals. Everyone. And when my parents were there visiting, which happened to be at lunchtime, they asked if THEY would like some lunch! The food, by the way, was excellent. I can't say enough about how NOT like every other doctor and clinic I've been to they are.

I've been to other Native American hospitals and hates going. I'd rather have my teeth pulled than go to them. But this hospital blew me away and I can't stop raving about it to my family and friends when they come into town. There have been a couple times I've been there. Once for me; once visiting my aunt and another time for my daughter in law at E R. I was relieved I didn't have to wait all day. I was impressed at the cleanliness. The equipment was new and modernized. It was top notch. I love going to the gift shop!!! Must see! I go there every time I visit the hospital.

This place is awful if you re having a baby. They told a woman to go home who was dilated to a 4 and they don t use doctors to deliver babies they use midwifes. They even told my cousin they don t like delivering babies at night. They had here walking around the hospital doing lunges and squats. Her water broke at around 3pm and they gave her the epidural around 6pm and she started pushing at 9pm and here it is almost 1am and still no baby. Keep in mind around 9 she was dilated to a 10. They FINALLY called a doctor to come around midnight and just told her they were going to use a vacuum and if that didn t work they would take him by c-section. Think twice before you deliver here. You get what you pay for or in this case what you don t.

I have been going to the Chickasaw Nation hospital...

I have been going to the Chickasaw Nation hospital or medical offices for about 20 years. Even though my tribe is from Arizona, they recognize my tribe and I am able to get free Healthcare there. The hospital in Ada is not only stunning to look at but they really have it set up to provide exceptional care. I live in the DFW area so when I had to have surgery a few years ago, it was difficult for my family. Thankfully they have what they call Chikasha House within walking distance to the hospital. My kids and now ex-husband were able to stay there and be with me during the day. They also received meals. Their food, by the way, is absolutely delicious and healthy! I know typically hospital food is subpar but they are seriously amazing. I am so thankful for their services!!!
