Although my wife and I enjoyed the show the seating in the theatre is unacceptable for anyone over 6 foot tall. My legs were jammed sideways because the seat in front was too near. I still have backache because of the twisted way I had to sit. Unless you are short avoid going to this theatre.

The seating layout is brilliant allowing a superb view from almost every seat. So far all plays we have seen here have been reasonably priced even with a well known cast.

I love Chichester Festival Theatre and visit regularly. Attentive staff, comfortable seats, air con working a treat and chilled wine and yummy ice cream for the interval. The performance of Me and My Girl is the best musical I have ever seen on stage, closely followed by Kiss Me Kate. I thought I was going to pass out with excitement when The Lambeth Walk worked its way to a sublime crescendo. All of the cast were amazing so don't want to single anyone out. You must go and for goodness sake audience, some of you are so lacking in animation and appreciation in the presence of world class performance. Clap, sing, stand up and SMILE Chichester PLEASE and share the exuberance. The cast deserve it.

About Chichester Festival Theatre
Chichester Festival Theatre: A Hub of Theatrical Excellence
Chichester Festival Theatre is one of the UK's most renowned regional theatres, with a reputation for producing work of the highest quality. Located in Chichester, West Sussex, this theatre has been entertaining audiences since 1962 and has become a hub for theatrical excellence.
The theatre was founded by Leslie Evershed-Martin and designed by architect Philip Powell. It opened its doors on July 3rd, 1962, with a production of The Chances by John Fletcher and William Shakespeare. Since then, it has produced countless plays that have captivated audiences from all over the world.
One of the things that sets Chichester Festival Theatre apart from other theatres is its commitment to producing new work. Over the years, it has premiered many plays that have gone on to become classics in their own right. Some notable examples include Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street (1973), which was later adapted into a successful musical; The Deep Blue Sea (1952) by Terence Rattigan; and Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Are Dead (1966) by Tom Stoppard.
In addition to producing new work, Chichester Festival Theatre also stages classic plays from the likes of William Shakespeare and George Bernard Shaw. These productions are often reimagined in innovative ways that breathe new life into them while still staying true to their original spirit.
The theatre's commitment to excellence extends beyond its productions as well. It offers an extensive education program that provides opportunities for young people to learn about all aspects of theatre production – from acting and directing to lighting design and stage management.
Chichester Festival Theatre is also committed to making theatre accessible to everyone. It offers discounted tickets for students as well as audio-described performances for visually impaired patrons.
If you're looking for an unforgettable theatrical experience in the UK, look no further than Chichester Festival Theatre. With its commitment to producing new work while still honoring classic plays, this theatre truly offers something for everyone – whether you're a seasoned theatregoer or just looking for a fun night out with friends or family.
In conclusion, if you want an exceptional theatrical experience filled with innovation and creativity combined with traditional values then visit Chichester festival theater today!
