I moved to CHGO five years ago and sought case management via CHGO House at which time I was turned away and told I could access case management via my healthcare provider which in truth hardly qualified as chase management. I was never told to try going to AFC. Now five years later or shall I say four and a half years later I was met again with a housing crisis and was referred to Heartland Health about seven months ago (Housing for people with disabilities usually takes a good month to receive for qualified applicants) where I could seek placement in the CSR database as a very qualified candidate for the counties only open enrollment housing program. This list is commonly referred as 'CRiSsys List." Upon signing up and being placed on that list i was getting frequent calls, mostly SRO's offering housing. But SRO's don't allow overnight guests nor do they have a kitchen so eventually I learned that I had to ask that my name put back on Crissy's list. On December first of 3015 I got a call from Chicago house telling me they pulled my name from Chrissy's list and went that very day to sort out the paperwork. I was told by Antwan Monegan, the now former "Scattered Housing" intake coordinator that the process takes two weeks. Although he had to wait a week before I could produce a Social Security Benefits Letter on account of the one I had attempted to email him came up blank and instead of calling me directly to inform me he chose to email me, hence the delay. Nevertheless two weeks went by and no call form Antwan. And so began a number of calls, all going to voice mail, the latter of which were fueled with haste. Finally I decided to go back and speak with Antwan but he conveniently took the day off due to illness. So I met with the same man whom IS Chicago House, as his seniority speaker as much, with whom told me five years ago thanks but no thanks, Dan Seztak, whom is the only person worthy of honorable mention regardless of the fact my efforts eventually laid upon deaf ears. Dan told me that the "Scattered Housing Project"is a whole other entity that he is unfamiliar with it's intricacies and policies/politics but he would leave a note on Antwan''s desk asking that he call me with an update....of course that call never came because dear Antwan couldn't be bothered by showing some humanity and owning up to being honest...Instead I received an email stating he was unaware of ever telling me a two week turn around and it could be anywhere from a few days to a few months before I would be receiving a call, from someone other than him because he no longer held that position any longer....
So I waited...I waited in my car, I waited on the street I waited on friend's couches until March 29th of 2016 at which time I wanted accountability. Instead of accountability I got fed excuse after excuse by Avi Rudnick whom leads the project and instead of taking ownership and assuring me they would find me a home the said they'd put me back on the CSR waiting list ASAP..
I received to calls since that time both within the allotted time for Dear Bitter sweet Antwan, whom I shamefully slandered to his supervisors and why is that? Because Antwan still has access to the CSR database and since I have not received a response from Mr..Rudnick that he's not denying the fact that there is in fact foul play going on that still is going on...Antwan, if you're smart enough to read this, then you're smart enough to get me into a nice apartment at the expense of having me wait six months (thru a CHGO winter no less) and mail me a letter of apology real fast before the content of this commentary reaches your funding.as undoubtedly it will just as this will fall on deaf ears. But this is just the beginning. And Dan, when you read this I hope you take a greater interest in your company enough to save it's ass instead of playing stupid with a smile.

This agency claims that they contacted me about a program opening, but they never attempted to reach out to me at all. I strongly think that agencies such as this, should be revamped as far as staff and faculty. Majority of these agencies such as Chicago House have inexperienced young people working for them and not doing their jobs and calling off.
They also have friends working at other agencies sharing your personal information and health information as well and blackballing or red listing your name to hinder you from being called to get housing or any other services.
