I called the restaurant to place an order for pickup exactly like I ve done in the past. I was informed that Chicago Cut changed their policy and Zach who I spoke with would not place my carry out order. I offered to pay over the phone which was denied as well. Zach informed me to come to the restaurant, place my order, then wait at the restaurant for about 20 minutes. Thank you but I ll pass. There are plenty of other restaurants who will gladly accept a credit card over the phone. I m sad to see one of my favorite top tier steakhouses change for the worse. They might as well say they don t accept carry out orders. F-

Excellent dining experience. Wine selection, appetizers, and entrees were all delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection. Service was top notch. Will definitely dine here again.

One of the best restaurants I've ever been to! The chicken was tender, juicy, and not overly thick. A delicious layer of cheese that was nice and gooey. The restaurant can also whip up a tasty pasta appetizer. And the staff is friendly and accommodating to our needs. I wholeheartedly recommend this restaurant!

Still one of my fav steak house downtown. Professional service, great food... especially that Cajun rib eye. Moscow mule could of been more perfect but it pass. Otherwise it s a spot I d go at least once a week whenever I m in town. You know, I wonder if this place will ever get review by a Michelin star critic.

This is above and beyond one of the most amazing places I have ever had the pleasure of dining. Everything down to the valet , the quality of every bite of food, cocktails but the INCREDIBLE SERVICE! This place has the most amazing staff, and if you are fortunate enough to visit when he is there, request Chris as your server. He was so professional and made our experience legitimately one of a kind. I cannot give this restaurant enough stars! They treat every customer like royalty and I cannot wait return. It s also right on the Chicago river walk way and a beautiful view. Thank you Center Cut and give Chris a raise!

Celebrating a friend s birthday yesterday evening. But was called away to work. Hong- our server was wonderful & so very helpful! The lamb chops were excellent- marinated & cooked to perfection. The Chilean Sea Bass & chowder were perfect. Not to mention dining out with the heat lamps was another unexpected delight!

A true gem & delight! I will return to get the full dining experience

Great experience from beginning to end. Courteous staff, bustling atmosphere, amazing food and a great view off the river. I stopped in for lunch and had a simple soup (split pea w/ham) and a salad (wedge served chopped). Fast, fresh, filling and very delicious. I look forward to coming back for dinner soon!

Great customer service at the start of our dinner, but then it went downhill...
My girlfriend got her $70 steak, but it was not cooked right. (It's a steakhouse, this should not happen). This is not the worst part though. Why would our server ask my girlfriend to cut her steak in the middle to prove that it's not wrongly cooked?? Rude and uncalled for.. Apologies were given to us, however, not as we thought this steakhouse would be..
Aside from this, a customer was talking rudely about other people, swearing and yelling at the table behind us. He also stole the pepper and salt shakers right in front of us and another server from another table... Did the server do anything about? NO...

Had dinner reservations for 2, when my boyfriend and I arrived the security guard (tall wide white guy) seen my husband and I and immediately turned us around due to the fact my husband had on SLIGHTLY ripped jeans. Had maybe about 1 rip the security guard Said it was not business casual. Granted that would have been no problem if we did not see atleast 5-6 men and women (WHITE) dinning in the restaurant WITH HOLY/RIPPED JEANS and HALF SHIRTS. And when we asked him to explain how exactly what they had on was appropriate and business casual, he had nothing to say besides he don t make the rules. I feel as if we were only getting that treatment due to the fact that we were black entering the establishment, the body guard had already told us the manager seen us walking up and immediately told him no to us dinning in.. The restaurant Probably would have been a good place to eat but could experience it with the service I have received I will not spend my money here.
