Pool and people are great (especially Bill Waldo) but the water on morning practice days is pretty cold lol
Great instructors, a lot more choices than in Cobb County Aquatics. Prices are affordable and the place is always clean.
Love this place. Kids can play indoor or outdoor. Great for family days
Wonderful facility and staff. Good schedule. Reasonable fees. Busy at certain times of the day/year with swim teams and swim clubs practicing, especially October - February early mornings and late afternoon & evening for high school swim teams.. Friendly, professional staff. Programs for all ages. I just completed a 3-day American Red Cross Lifeguard class with an excellent instructor and small class size (6) of motivated swimmers. Lots of fun! Outdoor water park, closed in winter, is a fun attraction during hot summer months, but it does get crowded. Families planning summer visits should call ahead and thoroughly review the website for information. Long lines are common. Food concession is small and has specific hours. I was not there for the food. See website for programs, times, and fees.
This was our 1st time here, and we loved it! It was very clean and run well! The staff and life guards were all very friendly! We can't wait to go back!
They seem to have a loyal clientele. There are always group activities going on that doesn't interfere with anyone else who are in smaller gatherings.
**I reported this safety issue to 3 different personnel and nothing was done by the time we left. It appears they have attempted to use generic hose clamps as a replacement part on the large umbrella. The result is two knife like pieces of metal sticking out just waiting on someone not paying attention to split themselves wide open. I hope they will address this but please be aware**
I am really surprised at how worn this pool is. It's relatively new with only a few seasons of wear yet the outside aquatic area is getting pretty shabby. Faded paint, missing pool tiles, and inoperative play accessories.
They have added new cabanas and umbrellas. Locker rooms area was tidy and clean. Concession staff was very friendly and patient.
At the end of the day water is wet and everyone seemed to have a great time.
Good aquatic center for swimming and water sports. Also teaches diving lessons. Covid-19 safe and follows regulations.
CCAC enforces a maximum capacity in the wake of COVID-19, so arriving at least 30-60 minutes before opening on hot, sunny days is advised. The oasis (outdoor area) offers a great alternative to Six Flags / White Water with much more reasonable prices and a more compact atmosphere that is conducive for families with young children.
