Delicious, if you like garlic. Extended hours during hunting season, just call ahead. Good date place. Warm lighting, quiet acoustics, semiprivate seating areas.
The Canyon River Cabernet Sauvignon is delicious.
They put sugar in their butter.
Wonderful. I'll will go back again .I will be very happy to invite friends and family to eat there
Our group - albeit large with 13 people - made a reservation for 7:30pm on a Saturday night. As expected the restaurant was full, so we expected some wait time to get served. Our order was taken about 10 minutes after another larger group but before at least 5 other tables of smaller groups.
Everyone of those tables was served as we continued to wait for our food to be delivered.
In total, we waited 2.5 hours before our food was served.
In that time of 2.5 hrs, our server never gave us a status update to alert us our order was taking long or a reason why. The management never acknowledged to us that our order was taking longer than it should have.
The only time we figured out something was wrong was when after almost 2 hours and watching every other table get served we mentioned this to our server.
She came back from the kitchen, did not tell us that our order had been mishandled in some way or when it would be coming out. Instead, she said the Chef was buying us a round on the house.
That was a nice gesture, but the reality is that it was 45 minutes still until we were finally served at 10pm.
We were never told by anyone what happened to our order by either our server or management. For a business that has been in business for 80 years, we should expect better than this.
Brought my dad here for a nice steak dinner and it was the best steak I've ever had, he agreed. Friendly service as soon as you walk into the door and a relaxing, calm atmosphere. Even the wine recommendation was great on the menu, and I don't usually drink wine. Awesome place for a nice dinner
Excellent food, a very nice place to eat. I had a version of chicken marsala that was fabulous, and the cheesecake for dessert was phenomenal as well. Not cheap, but worth the money.
This is old school Steakhouse Style Dining, like from 80 years ago, which is how long this place has been here. Really really cozy and old school. I had the steak tips which were in a lightly sweet homemade bourbon sauce which was unbelievable. Just unbelievable. The steak tips melted in my mouth. But the garlic pieces in the mashed potatoes were uncooked and crunchy and overpowering. And they didn't have any vegetables for some reason. So only four stars. Excellent house wine. Great service.
We ate in the dining room and it was lovely. We were dressed casually and felt perfectly comfortable. Food was delicious-we had the (very unique) prime rib cannoli and a delicious fettuccine alfredo. Prices were reasonable and the service was great. The menu had a lot of choices - you can check it online.
Service was lovely and the atmosphere was one of the best. I feel like we payed more for the atmosphere then we did for the quality of the food. Overall, great place to eat.
Wonderful atmosphere.
Steaks cooked as ordered. Outstanding table service.
The homemade vinegarette on the salad started our experience. That was followed up by outstanding homemade rolls and honey butter.
Then the steaks.... OH! The steaks. The wife had prime rib, and I had the "Cowboy" bone in ribeye. DELICIOUS.
Our meal ended with excellent homemade creme brulee. Highly recommend.
