Chattanooga Community Kitchen Review

I stay pretty much to myself do work dad today on trying to get myself together so I can save up enough and get out of there which I did three years ago

Grateful for what they do for the homeless community.

The gentleman that helped unload my donation was very friendly. Hope our items bless those who receive them

Wonderful group of people. They dont treat you like your homeless they make you feel loved there food is awesome. These folks are doing a great job.

Social service agency. Lots of drug addled individuals and mentally ill people hang out in the area. Wear the armour of Jesus if you are in the area.

I will just put no comment. One thing some rulings done in courts they need to read up on, and thats all Im going to say

People don't know how to act. The staff and volunteers aren't much better

City need outreach Ima muslim I alway take Ice cold water and natural soda and kosher foods..

I will tell you from experience not to expect any help from the community kitchen. It is a place where you can take a shower and eat a bowl of oatmeal or grits if you can stand the taste of them. Understand that the kitchen and the area around it is very dangerous especially for women. My advice is to stay away from this place if you can.

This is a great place for people to find ways to change their existing circumstances if they truly want the change.

If your starving and are homeless then this place offers food. But most of the time the staff are very rude and hateful

Horrible,disease ridden place,treated wrong,so bad ,very bad.

This is a winter shelter for the homeless when it's cold outside

They offer a good service for people in need and the staff are very helpful but outside reminds me of zoo with no pens and the animals run free.

CK is a highly helpful place to those less fortunate. Many ways to assist donations of money, clothes, food, etc.

Staff could be a little more compassiont. Over all helpful

Food water and shelter being homeless teaches one to be humble and if I was homeless I couldn't ask more than that

The Kitchen feeds the hungry and offers hope for the future to some of our city's neediest residents.

What a wonderful asset this community to make sure the homeless are fed and cared for

I CAN SAY THEY REALLY HELP PEOPLE IN NEED. IT WAS A TIME I MEET A LADY NAME MRS. MADONNA AND SHE WAS SO GENUINE. IT WAS A HARD YEARS FOR ME AND SHE BOUGHT MY DAUGHTER SO MANY TOYS AND IT WAS A SPARE OF THE MOMENT AND I THOUGHT I WASN'T GOING TO BE ABLE TO HAVE GIFTS FOR MY DAUGHTER I CRIED IT HURTED ME SO BAD. JUST TO GO BACK AND THINK ABOUT IT I'M GETTING TEARY EYED AS I'M WRITING. THIS ANGEL MRS. MADONNA BRUNG ME SO MUCH STUFF FOR HER I COULDN'T BELIEVE IT SHE HAD MORE THAN ENOUGH AND TO THIS DAY I DON'T KNOW WHO SPONSORED US BUT THANK Y'ALL SO MUCH BECAUSE I DIDN'T KNOW HOW I WAS GO GET SOME TOYS FOR MY DAUGHTER SHE BRUNG SO MUCH JOY TO MY FAMILY WORDS COULDN'T EXPLAIN HOW I FELT LOLOL IT WAS A RELEASE AND FULFILLMENT AND EACH YEAR SHE MADE IT HER BUSINESS TO TAKE CARE OF US. Wonderful organization, serving under privileged and poverty stricken PEOPLE, our neighbors, friends, and families.

They provide a crucial service the the chattanooga area. For the homeless they serve 3 meals a day, and also provide clothing and housing assitance. Also they accept donations of all types. Its a wonderful place to volunteer.

Evil place people scare me here, homeless act like they run it & it shouldn't be that way. I used them as a temporary mailing address per advisement of the clinic across the street 3 peices of mail never handed over to me, was told Oh it probably got stolen... How????

There's a closeness of the Spirit of Love surrounding the kitchen.
