Exceptional hotel and conference center. The restaurant was as you would expect, bright clean, well kept and in keeping with the Chateau. The food great quality and with a varied menu. Staff were helpful, no problems or concerns. Just a great stay. The grounds & gardens are also excellent. Well worth while exploring and spending time discovering.

Fabulous hotel and grounds, good food and friendly staff. We stayed in small but very nice room at the top of the hotel on the third floor. It was very clean and very nicely decorated. Superb mattress and small bathroom with a fixed head shower.
Great views over the gardens.
Would stay again.

Beautiful place, very well maintained grounds, clean and lots of space to wonder around.

Very easy to get to off the motorway,
Massive parking only problem is the bay are not for larger vehicles so when car park is full some cars end up taking 2 bays.

There are I think 3 large halls and then the main Chateau.

No shops close by which is a let down, you have to drive if you need anything.

All in all a great place with minor tweaks.

Amazing location with building and parks. Hill climb was great again, good access to cars and ample parking. Needs a few more coffee bars as queues were too big, waiting up to 20 minutes in the main field near the chicane.

I was here to provide entertainment for a corporate Christmas party, but also stayed the night and enjoyed the breakfast in the morning. The hotel is stunning inside and out and can definitely be described as having character! Staff were friendly and helpful. I did feel for such a sumptuous exterior and public areas, that the bedroom was sadly rather dated. Everything was neat and tidy but the decor and especially the green bathroom suite looked like it hadn't been refreshed since being installed probably in the late 70s or 80s. If not for that slight let down it would definitely have been 5 stars.

What a lovely hotel, reception staff were friendly...

What a lovely hotel, reception staff were friendly and knowledgeable about the history of hotel, check in quick, room in Chateau was lovely with all mod cons, tea/ coffee was of high quality and plenty of it, toiletries in bathroom were high quality and plenty of that too, shower was large and lovely, bed was large and linen was high quality, lovely view from French door window with Juliet balcony over the countryside all in all a lovely room. We had a lovely fine dining meal, food was fresh and of a good quality, service was good with friendly staff, breakfast was self serve and had everything you could want and plenty of it, food was always hot, grounds are beautiful and vast, lovely outdoor spaces to eat and drink, they have lots of events on, and would be lovely to hold weddings here, Christmas would be magical and have looked at the pamphlet to have Christmas party here which look reasonably priced. All in all a great location and fab hotel, there were only two things that could be improved on 1. Better sound proveing in room as you can hear next door voices or tv.2. The restaurant lacks atmosphere , needs more colour or wall art, nothing to look at except other diners who were sat very close together, needs fresh eyes to improve the ambience! Otherwise a great place, would visit again and again

Overall a great experience. Great place for a couples getaway or family stay. Excellent facilities in the room and a very comfortable bed. The hotel restaurant had excellent food both when we had an evening meal and breakfast. The staff were also very friendly and helpful, particularly in the restaurant.

Booked here for an overnight stay. Hotel was impeccable, beautiful setting and surroundings. Double executive family room was clean spacious and very comfortable. Views from our room were gorgeous.
In house restaurant evening meal was lovely and perfectly cooked. Breakfast is self service, with a good choice of cooked items, pastries, hot and cold drinks. Restaurant staff were very attentive and helpful.
We would definitely recommend and stay here again.
