We had an amazing time at Charter Oak Brewing. It was a spur of the moment stop during our weekend in Danbury. So glad we stopped in. Scott and Michelle are as awesome as the beers they create and serve!

Honestly... Scott and his outstanding & meticulous knowledge to the love of beer & science; will make you love & appreciate all the work that goes into this local brew. Michelle s amazing customer service, caring and warming attitude makes this, by far, the very best brewery I ve ever been to! Please stop by, do a tour, learn the technical aspect of it all. Relax and try the amazing local brew!!! Please support them, honestly... you ll feel like family!

Scott and Michelle are amazing hosts! First and foremost, their beer is legit. The Easy Riding Kolsh and New Charter NEIPA are fantastic, easy drinking summer beers. The Spur Lager Blackberry is my wife's favorite. But what really is worthy of 5 stars is the friendliness, kindness, and professionalism of Scott and Michelle. They want you to love your experience and will do everything to make you feel like a valued guest. Moreover, their adherence to covid-19 best practices is the best we've seen at craft breweries. Plenty of hand sanitizer, lysol wipes and cleanliness. Kudos to you for creating a warm, safe, and friendly environment to share our favorite beverage!

The wife and I finally had a chance to stop by here (it had been on our short list for a long time) and we were blown away at the quality of the brews and the venue overall.

There is a wide variety of styles on tap and in cans to please even the pickiest of palates. The Screaming Englishman in particular was a favorite of mine that reminded me of a real West Coast DIPA akin to (dare I say...) Pliny the Elder.

We will be back again soon.

Echoing other comments here. If 2020 has you down in the dumps come here if only for the friendly and welcoming owners who will strike up a conversation and make you feel like part of the family. Oh, and we enjoyed the beers too!
