I love there unlimited salad bar. Best salad bar I've seen.

Went tonight it was horrible. Drinks came out after appetizers. Staff was short handed. Ordered prime rib after an hour and fifteen minutes waitress came out and said there were no more. Ordered different steaks came out overcooked and terrible. We were 7 customers who spent a lot of money on a terrible meal! Manager really di not care either.

Took the family to lunch today. Unfortunately we had a poor experience. The waitress was unfriendly and unattenive. Charlie's has always been a go to place for us. However the Scotch Plains location is a never again. 2 stars, because I at least enjoyed my meal. 0 stars for the waitress.

Win streak was terrible, tough not seasoned well. Green beans rubbery. Salad bear was good.

Went there with a group of 18, staff not prepared for a group of that size, food poor to average nothing to brag about

One night in the 80's my burger was over cooked n my fries were cold. Beer was good though and there was a hot filly sitting at the bar (3rd stool from the right, white skirt, red shirt, blond hair, green eyes... her name was I Lean).

Always have a good experience at Charlie Brown's. I love their salad bar and the decor they have is very homely.

Great food, cozy atmosphere, my family and I go here for a nice meal out. The salad bar is awesome and steaks are well seasoned.

Crissy is the best on Wednesday nights! The Salad Bar is great and offers a good variety of choices. The bar side offers hightops in addition to the ample sized bar, and booths. Bar and hightops are open seating. Plenty of TV's to watch the games on. Happy Hour Specials. The prime ribs and steaks are good. Just stay away from that seafood boil special.

We love this place! Best prime rib in town, and a wonderful salad bar. Been coming here for a few years, but tonight our sever, Dana, was sooooooo super awesome and accommodating. Thanks Dana and we ll see you again!

Had been a Millburn regular for many years until they closed. Went to Scotch Plains on a Saturday and had a great time and have been going back ever since. Eden and Ana are the best behind the bar!

Barks visited the Scotch Plains location. Got chicken soup and stuffed shrimp. Food was excellent but felt a little rushed, which was odd because place was not really full

Always solid, never spectacular. Good salad bar. All you can eat ribs on Thursday night is firmly in my rotation. Service has always been friendly and adequate.

Have always loved this place, but the last couple of times the Prime Rib has not been up to par.

Best time I was here, it was only outdoor eating. But now I guess you can go inside I just don't know if the salad bar would be there. That's my favorite part of the whole experience of eating there. And when you are outside you could get a salad but nothing like what you would get inside. I always get the ribs,. and they give you so much that you have plenty to take home with you. Clean beautiful place and atmosphere inside. Friendly waitresses and waiters. Not one bad word to say about this place,! Go any chance you can!!

Ribs were dry .and my friend order balsamic chicken charged 18 dollars and it looked like a five dollar plate.disgraceful the chef needs cooking lessons.

Love this place! The dining here is warm and homey! And, THAT SALAD BAR!!!!!!! Oh yes!!!

3 stars for the server. I ordered the ribeye steak, medium rare, with a baked potato. The steak was not trimmed; there was more than a little gristle. The cut was uneven, so the thicker portion was medium rare, but the thinnest end was well done. The potato was under cooked. Given how much time it took to get the steak out of the kitchen (my wife finished her entre before mine arrived at the table) I was reluctant to send it back. CBs is good for lunch, but the "signature" dinner offerings fall short.

I have been a Charlie Browns fan for a long time. I have great memories of going as a kid with my parents. Yesterday I decided to take my mom out for her birthday. I usually go to the Millburn restaurant but this time I decided on Scotch Plains. There was a 15 minute wait on a Tuesday night which I thought was a good sign. Me and my mom both ordered prime rib, me a Charlie's cut and my mom a dutchess cut. They have a Tuesday special that includes a side order of shrimp. Our waiter never mentioned this. As for the prime rib... Both mine and my mom's were tough. I actually had trouble cutting through mine. It tasted good but still very disappointing. The salad bar which I always look forward too was also a disappointment. The lettuce had brown edges and the black olives were shriveled up and dried out. It's possible that this was just an off night but I still think I'll go back to Millburn.

I admire this spot! They prepare tasty meals, their menu is rich, The cook in that spot is an expert, I love a lot tasting all their food. The dishes are always fresh, the attitude towards the visitors is friendly. I often go to this place and I not even once was discontended. Highly recommended.

I always have a good meal here. Great salad bar and great desserts. Plenty of satisfying dinner choices.

An old time favorite worth the drive. Great salad bar ang tender steaks match well with their merlot. This is a popular restaurant so make a seating call when you leave your abode. Very crowded.

Always enjoy the visit to Edison Charlie Browns. I often recommend it to friends and family. My husband and I have 2 children that are grown...so my husband and I love to watch the sports games on the televisions and meet our friends for dinner at the bar.

Burgers and prime rib are great. The salad bar is also good-lots of variety. The place is often crowded, but the service is always good.

This is a very clean restuarant having a varied menu. The salad bar alone is worth the trip. We usually have the salad bar for lunch along with a protein offered with the salad. Great price. The server needs to be more attentive. Should not have to ask for a seltzer refill.

Always have lots of old folks coming here, it is a class steakhouse. Food is mostly good. Waiting is normal on weekend.

We decided to have my brother in laws birthday dinner here. Best decision ever. Everyone was so nice and accomadating. Our waitress Sabrina was excellent. She was amazing. She took care of almost 20 of us. And everything was perfect. Thank you for making his birthday a great one.

Food was excellent and prepared as requested. However, it was very dark inside and that was visually uncomfortable.

Food was delicious but the service was even better.

We go twice a month 6 to 8 of us they won't let you use a school fund raising discount card when 1 person gets all you can eat ribs.
