I hired Chapel Doors Ltd to install a Sliding Aluminium Automated Gate to my property. They charged a premium price , yet supplied cheap products and their work was substandard, The installation of the gates was executed with lack of care and attention to detail, with visible flaws in the structural fittings, poorly rooted gate tracks.More concerning is the failure to comply with UK safety regulations governing electric gate system, particularly with regards to safe force limitations, obstacle detection. They installed mismatched accessories, different colours that do not match the initial anthracite gate colour. The Aluminium gates are made of plastic material and not aluminium showing signs of premature wear.Instead of installing a mechanical end stop at the rear of the gates they put a screw into the plastic gates that rusted along the runner. The electric side of the motor is a mess, with parts missing and their so called engineers left unprotective wires hanging down into the motor box and RCD box. The gate is so flimsy that has been blowing and wobbling in the wind hitting the walls.
When I contacted them to fix the issues, they ignored me completely. No accountability, no professionalism. Avoid at all costs if you value your money and peace of mind.
