I purchased a new boat and had some issues. Some of the repairs took longer than expected. We were not happy with getting a boat that had some issues but a boat is a boat. The manufacture was able to provide us some additional coverage to make up for the time. We do like the boat they designed it handles well and we use it offshore out of Washington state.Their customer service stayed in communications with us and helped us with our out-of-state dealer where we purchased it. We look forward to having our family use the boat this upcoming season

I bought a new chaparral 21 h2o sport from sunrise marine. I had this boat for a couple months and all my seat cushions started to get tears in the corners. The dealer told me to turn it into the extended warranty that they sold me. Didnt tell me it only covers 2000 dollars. Dealer told me it covers total replacement. Big lie. They sent out the tech and he said the seat are designed wrong and it would happen again if he fixed it. Chaparral has been notified from myself and sunrise marine and admitted they don't see a problem except for the rips in the cushions. Thats what I'm complaining about. The dealer also ripped a large whole in my captains seat and won't fix it. The tech wrote a large report and took 100 pictures. If I dont get this situation fixed I will be taking my report my pictures to every boat show I can find. The owners and supervisors don't even tell you there not fixing it they just don't call you back. This is sad. I've owned new boats all my life and have never had issues or been treated so poorly by a dealer or manufacturer like this. Chaparral please feel free to call me but I know you won't.
I have tried to contact customer service numerous times after purchasing a 2019 Boat that was not built with the equipment that was supposed to be installed on it. I spoke to Ashley Hibbard and now she won't return my calls and I have left several messages for Dan Osborn as well with no return call. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE
Looks like the only thing that keeps this brand floating here on Google is a bunch of fake 5 star reviews posted by good looking but non existing people. Otherwise they would sink ... not much different than their good looking but flawed boats they make. Form over function and not much hull performance improvement since their tri-hull beginning. That was the best and only hull performance invention they came up with ... long abandoned since.
Their boats leaving assembly line are poorly made with a lot of defects that are either not noticed or just not repaired. The boats are leaking at hull deck seams, they have wrong size and unsealed holes or misdrilled and not repaired holes, misaligned engines and badly installed equipment and electronics.
The workmanship and work culture in this business is terrible. The quality control and customer service nonexistent and/or ineffective. Go spend your money somewhere else ... you will pay less and possibly receive more for your money!

We purchased a brand new 2018 203 vrx jet boat from our local dealership last year (2018). From the day one it was delivered and put on the water we have had nothing but issues mechanical. The 250HP has failed multiple times (long block replacement, fuel pump assembly replaced, super charge unit replaced, rebuild engine, Injections replaced/rebuild, and a multiple other things) Our dealership asked us to contact BRP and Chaparral and gave us their direct numbers and names and neither of person's wouldn't ever call back. They would have someone else call to deliver message. Chaparral and BRP has been asked from us multiple times to make things right. I've been completely polite and respectful every phone call conversation. Chaparral has no interest in helping with there faulty products. We have asked Chaparral and BRP to: Replace complete motor setup, we have asked to move us in a different boat with a different motor that's not faulty, and we have asked to purchase the boat back. Every response and answer is no. We have dealt with a faulty motor setup for 14 months with no resolution. Their resolution is to rebuild a motor and how many times do you do repair before making things right with your product. Can you imagine purchasing a brand new boat and it doesn't run correctly day it hits the water and its in the shop getting everything replaced and rebuild multiple times. And then delivered back to you saying its working as it should when you can't water sport with no more than 3 persons including the person on the water. When it was told to you directly from the dealership it can perform these tasks and its stamped 8 persons or 1500lbs. This process has made up us sick and very upsetting and robbed family time now two summers on the lake. We are respectful, good hard working people that expects to be treated correctly.
If I could give zero stars I would. Bought a brand new 2020 Chaparral 21 SSI from Boat Masters Marine in Akron Ohio. Had nothing but problems with both. Boat came with condensation in radio, gas gauge flickers, and missing emblem on back of seat. Contacted both. Still cant get radio replaced. They say that is how the gas gauge works (which is BS). They shipped the emblem for me to place on back of seat. Never again will buy from them. Customer service is an F (or less, if possible) Btw, nobody answers phone at HQ, or will get back with you. So upset!
