What a great experience I had. I needed help (last minute) to get my Mom into assisted living and called Champlain Valley Senior Community. Eli from the office called me right back and I explained what I needed and asked for help. He was right on it and got back to me within a couple of hours and had a room for my Mom within 2 days. I was not sure what I was going to need and he told me not to worry that someone would call me to let me know and go over everything. I got a call from Jen MacDougal who told me she would walk me through the process and she sure did! We met with her the next day and went over everything. She clearly let us know what we should expect from showing us the room, the building and most important all the people who were working. She made it clear to ask ANY questions we had and she answered all of them. She is so professional and down to earth. I also got to meet Alyssa Frazier who works with Jen and make great team mates. They helped us with all our requests. We meet with Jen for several hours including going over all the medicine, Moms doctors and all her appointments. They do EVERYTHING so you do NOTHING but take care of your loved one. I don’t know how to thank them enough. When they say that it starts from the top of the organization and works down, they are 100% right. The staff there is nothing short of AWESOME! Now that Mom has been there for a while, we still feel the same way and just LOVE the place. They have so many activities going on and make sure they offer things were everyone can be included. If you are thinking about having a loved one needing a place to stay don’t think again, sign them up and know you are doing the right thing and you do not need to worry about a thing. Working with Jen, her communication is perfect and always get right back to you. I can’t thank them enough!
