Very small, but adequate. Food is descent, people are friendly.

Top location 100 meters from the slopes and 2 lifts.
Run by English staff and is a bit of a disorganized mess. Our room was given to someone else, we waited an hour before we could eat and it is extremely noisy but really noisy. If you come for peace and quiet book another hotel. We will never come to this hotel again.

A good budget. Hotel. Does what you need close to the lifts and Inna bus route.

Hotel completely outdated, needs complete renovation. Food is quite tasty.

The food is delicious and provides, also a nice bar, some pizzas. friendly english speaking staff.

No local tv despite tv in room. No decent wine. No decent food. Sad to see this place run into ground by the britishers and their clientele who seem oblivious to the fact it is en France. Poor. Spent a Christmas here when it was pre renovation and must say that was massively better.

Good hotel staples WiFi only doesn't look that good

Simple and cheap, does the job. Twin rooms on the small side and no TV but when your on the slopes it does not matter that much.

Went on a school trip. The food was a lot of the time cold such as the lasagne which was able to be picked up similarly to a book. Behind the electric radiator the earth wire had been cut meaning if the live/neutral had been touching the metal case it would earth through the person who touched it. Also the civil engineer, who decided to put both the bathroom and the entrance to the room on the same hinge, needs shot. Apart from this the staff were exceptional.

The strongpoints of Hotel Rhodedendron are definitely location and price. The hotel is easy to reach, we found free parking surprisingly easy, and the ski lift is on the other side of the road.
However, do not expect great luxury. You get what you pay for. The staff is working very hard to make everything work every day. And this seems easily forgotten by some people.
We had a great time here! And I can definitely recommend this hotel to people who re looking for a decent & friendly budget hotel with direct access to one of the greatest ski areas in the French Alps.

Food was ok. Wifi non existent. Rooms were not cleaned for 3 days straight, bins and towels not changed for 4 days. Room decor very dated. No rooms with double beds, 2 singles put together. However were were charged extra for a double bed.

Owner very rude. On new years eve we were not allowed to use the common room, because we would disturb the sleeping guests above.... Even though the rooms above were OUR rooms. Management very poor in all areas.

Only advantage is that the ski lift is just 100 meteres from the door. Thats offcourse if you can walk down the icy stairs that no one cleaned for the duration of our stay.

Booked a 7-day skiing holiday with bus trip via Sunweb. This is great as the ski area Paradiski is fantastic. Lift is 100 meters away. The double room is small. Narrow good beds and great shower. Everything very simple and simple, but 2 sockets for TV and 2 heaters is not handy. Also missing seats in the room. English breakfast is satisfactory and dinner with 3 courses is simple but fine with a glass of wine. There is also a cozy pub. And activities space. Staff is English friendly and helpful. Free WiFi only range at the entrance of the hotel does not work in the rooms. Nice hotel for the price. We enjoyed.

Fab hotel right next to the piste, ski school and a chairlift to plagne Centre , real cozy feel, log fires and a great bar.

Old building, small rooms. Dirty bed sheets, black mold in bathroom. Room for 4 people with only 2 power outlets. Entire staff was british and friendly. Food was acceptable at most, often cold. Ski slopes and lift easily accesible - about 50 meters from front door. Cosy bar. Would not recommend for the price we paid though.

Basic hotel. Outdated but a better location on the slopes is hard to find. Hotel is (was) operated by Englishmen and came across as disorganized and uninterested. Perhaps it is the fact that it was the end of March and the end of the season.

Very basic accommodation, very close to 3 ski rental shops and a spar. Wifi signal not available in all rooms, board room not accessible from inside of the hotel. Small bathrooms. Hardly closet space. Very very basic. You get what you pay for. Very friendly staff, great view from balcony. Overall great place to stay

I will start positively. The hotel is within walking distance of the slopes. There is also a bus stop outside the door. Equipment rentals and ski lessons are also within walking distance. However the hotel is very dated, they are small rooms with a very small bathroom, this is not clean and contains mold in some places. It is an English breakfast, not much special. Dinner is only possible in shifts, if you register late, it may be possible that you are only allowed to eat after 8 pm. You can choose from different dishes from a three-course menu, the food can really be better, eventually leaving my "lasagna", but as the waitress said when we complained about the quality of the food; "You get paid for what you pay" .. Really a bad comment! For a night this hotel is fine, but I will not eat there.

Half the teachers and nearly a quarter of students suffered from suspected food poisoning, rooms were stuffy and rails in the bathroom were falling off, staff very friendly though

Rooms are basic but good value for money. Had dinner there once during the stay but it was really terrible. Food was cold and poorly prepared. Such a shame because the staff is really nice.

Very handy that the hotel is so close to the slopes! But the rooms and especially the bathroom could be a little cleaner. Rooms are also somewhat outdated. Our room was located just above the bar, while we wanted to go to bed on time so that we slept late the next day to go skiing. This was very unfortunate since there was loud music playing until 12 o'clock at night, which is unfortunate that this was not taken into account. The food could also be much better! We were often only allowed to eat at 8 pm, this is much too late after you go skiing all day!

Rooms are small and functional. Shower approx. 60x60cm. Bunk beds with chipboard instead of bed frame. Party accommodation, unfortunately not so suitable for families. The external speaker is located directly under our room. Will be made out after 8pm on request. For breakfast there is baguette or toast bread as well as baked goods / cakes from the supermarket, canned fruit, etc. There is no fresh fruit and cheese. Dinner is OK. Drinks have to be picked up in the bar next door - at prices like those at the ski hut. The location right on the ski slope is great.

Just returned from a great trip at this hotel. Right next to the slopes, good food and really friendly staff looked after us for the week. We'll be back next year!

Great location close to the lift, but hotel is outdated and the food is very mediocre.

Price quality ratio fine. Ski area great. Food English tinted but quality good. Towels change only a little, but if you ask, you will get clean ones. Hot water is limited, if there are many showers in the adjacent rooms then it can be cold.

Awful awful place. Went here last week and my iPad was stolen from my room. Would not recommend at all. I did in fact report the iPad missing during the stay and I was not in a group with other kids either!

Unfortunately, we found it very disappointing. The rooms are very small, outdated and not clean ...
The bathroom is also very small and not hygienic, the shower curtain was full of mold.
Breakfast was good though. Hearty breakfast before we could hit the slopes.
Hotel is definitely in need of renewal!

The staff are very friendly and helpful, they provided my baby boy with a bouncer, child seat and baby bath.

Poor accommodation. The rooms were tight. On the toilet you sit with your knees against the door. The shower cabin was 62 x 62 cm. The beds are small. The breakfast was reasonable, dinner was not good. In 4 days I had 1 dish which was to do. Wifi is only at the reception and was poor.

first of all the staff are really good and were friendly ..the hotel room was diappointing, no view no balcony a window looking onto a path at the back, we got the bad end of the deal. the food wasnt good unless you pay in the bar for pizza/burgers which are great...free food not good..location very good but feel a bit hard done by about the view and the non balcony

Nothing fancy about this hotel, but its location is very good, I thought the food was very good with the Bobsleigh Bar, staff where friendly, rooms are small, but beds where comfortable, I would book again
