I had 2 great weeks in the Cultura Italiana.
The teachers are all very nice and teach you the Italian language well.
In the small classes, the lessons are intense but at the same time very funny, because you grow together in no time.
I would recommend it to anyone, beginner or advanced.

It is a very open and welcoming atmosphere in the school, the teachers are engaged and the lessons are on your level, even if you never learned Italian before.
In three weeks here I have learned more than I did a year at home. I m definitely coming back to learn more!

If you think that among the beauty of the places and their history that we know that created the world, Italy where I turn and look you see beauty only beauty I am in love with it especially on the islands that it is said in the old testament that a man finds a sword studded with diamonds and this man I pull it out of the sea and three drops of water fall and those were the Italian islands, but this is a word instead the truth and they have done so beautiful things that now they don't do them anymore ... here are Italian and world friends thank you and good morning.

I've been to Cultura Italiana in Bologna twice now...

I've been to Cultura Italiana in Bologna twice now. And I want to register again. You can tell from that that I liked it a lot. Why I gave "only" a very good and not an outstanding one is because a Russian participant who specifically wanted to learn management Italian landed in our general Italian course; after all, she also got individual lessons after a few days.
An important part of my very good rating of Cultura Italiana is the city of Bologna. For me it is simply stunning: a hardly touristy medieval city. And Cultura Italiana is right in the center, of course in a large medieval townhouse. And how is it going? Nice, friendly, uncomplicated. And you are among all interested, communicative language students. And I as an old man - over 70 years - felt like a young student, the spontaneously come many interesting ideas, of course, always in Italian. That's the common colloquial language there, no matter if someone masters it well or only rudimentarily. Only a few Englishmen talk to each other in English at a late hour. One then says to them: "non capisco".
Have I already reported on the evening offers? First there is a man whose name I do not remember. But this is a phenomenon, because he can tell about Italian music, about literature, architecture and much more in a way (of course in Italian), that one - even if not so good Italian-speaking - is captivated and enthusiastic. He is also the one who showed us one of the Bolognese channels. In addition, has to rave about the cooking school, which is also an evening offer. I've been there three times, and now I can make pasta by hand; I also bought the practical machine with hand crank in Bologna in the kitchen business close to Cultura Italiana.
I also find the director of the institute wonderful. This is a really nice man who says that he "talks like many Italians: a lot of words and not so much content". But he likes to listen to him when he talks enthusiastically about Bologna or about learning the Italian language. Finally, one can also write good things about the teachers and the teachers. I'm used to a lot of German adult education classes, in which I got tired quickly. But if you are sitting in a (small) classroom of Cultura Italiana, and if the group course "Italian grammar" starts at 1 pm, it should last until 3 pm and then if the indirect speech with its time sequence is on the program, and if which takes place in August, and if all 15 participants of the group are fully awake to the end of the course, then it is also because these teachers have a method of lightning-fast small group formation. In this way, I was briefly seated next to a Japanese woman, with whom I had to make sentences of the kind: "You had promised me to go to Japan with me, but instead you just went to the local city park with me." Shortly after, I was sitting next to an American woman with whom I talked about learning Italian. This is of course an interesting question: why does an elderly person learn Italian? A not so strange reason is that from time to time you can spend very nice and intense days in Bologna.

Before coming to Italy with the aim of studying It...

Before coming to Italy with the aim of studying Italian I saw that Italian Culture was one of the most recommended schools. I also saw that the study program described in the school's internet portal seemed to be conducive to optimal learning. Now, to finish my fifth week at school, I'm glad to say it was a good choice! The teachers are excellent, and the teaching and activities program is dynamic and conducive to learning. Not only would I recommend Italian Culture to anyone interested in coming to study Italian in Italy, but I return home eager to return to Bolognia to continue studying at this school. Manuel Arteta

We took a one week intensive course with very little prior Italian knowledge. The classes are all in Italian but the teachers are great at conveying the grammar and lessons to beginners. The teachers are also very engaged and welcoming. The school offers just enough extra activities, both free and at a reasonable extra cost. Wished we had stayed longer! We definitely recommend staying with a homestay family!

The teachers are competent and friendly. Interesting additional activities are proposed by the management. The location of the school in a palace near the two towers, the city of Bologna itself with its arcades, bookstores, restaurants, students of different nationalities make the language stay very pleasant.

I did a 4 weeks intensive course in agoust before my erasmus began, without knowing anything more than 'ciao' and 'grazie' and after the first week you can see important changes. Prices are not cheap, but the classmates from all countries that in this time are your familly and the teachers are the best you can have. The lessons method will make you forget that you are in a school, and you will learn quickly.

After one year I can say that in that time I made very good friends, we were like a family, and is a very important piece of my italian adventure, thanks to them I could understand university lessons without problems and do easier my life here in bologna.
