A small, simple tray with starter and dessert, all at 10. And it's pretty good.
All these low prices for dancers ( 8.50 for the stage and those who come to see them)
And if the weather is nice, you eat or drink on the terrace overlooking the canal. That is the demand of the people ?

To go and see if you are a fan of architecture. This "brutalist" building is unattractive on the outside but well renovated on the inside. Entry into the building is free. This building houses the National Dance Center. Many dance studios are available for hire for the preparation of shows, rehearsals ... Dance lessons are also offered for children and adults (inquire on the CND website). A cafeteria in the lobby offers drinks and a single meal at 10 for lunch, small portion but very good quality and healthy.

Paris National Dance Center. In addition to more than 10 rehearsal rooms, there is a dance library and a rehabilitation room for dancers. There is also an information corner for dance work, but it's a good idea to watch this updated on the web every month.

The setting is not really appropriate and has no charm. The service is friendly. At the culinary level, an original formula in the evening with some interesting flavors. Bad quality / price ratio.

Really a place not to be missed. A team, professional, smiling, welcoming and dynamic. The dishes are delicious, the desserts to take again. Just a treat to share quickly solo, duo ... Pleasantly surprised and undoubtedly, I will return with pleasure as soon as possible.

I went there 2 times. Very interesting events but ... The building seen from the outside seems ready to collapse: concrete probably poor quality covered more and more by safety nets. Too bad that such a jewel is in a case so ugly!

I was doing heritage tours around the architecture of the place. Despite recent redevelopment I find that the place keeps a certain austere and messy at the same time that I liked little. Out of curiosity, the commented visit is however worth the shot

About Centre national de la danse (CND)

Centre national de la danse (CND) is a French institution that has been dedicated to promoting and preserving the art of dance since its inception in 1998. The organization offers a wide range of services and resources to professionals, students, and enthusiasts alike, including public events, heritage preservation initiatives, audiovisual productions, educational programs, and more.

One of the primary goals of CND is to provide access to high-quality dance performances for audiences across France. To achieve this objective, the organization hosts numerous public events throughout the year that showcase both established and emerging talent from around the world. These events include festivals, workshops, exhibitions, conferences and other cultural activities.

In addition to its public-facing initiatives, CND also plays an important role in preserving France's rich dance heritage. The organization maintains an extensive archive of historical materials related to dance that includes photographs, videos recordings as well as written documents such as choreographic scores or manuscripts. This archive serves as a valuable resource for researchers studying various aspects of dance history.

CND also produces audiovisual content related to dance which includes documentaries about famous dancers or choreographers like Rudolf Nureyev or Pina Bausch. These productions are available on DVD or online platforms like YouTube where they can be accessed by anyone interested in learning more about this art form.

Another key aspect of CND's work is providing training opportunities for aspiring dancers and choreographers through its professional development programs. These programs offer courses on various aspects of dance such as technique training or composition skills development which help participants improve their craft while also gaining valuable industry insights from experienced professionals.

CND also provides services such as rehearsal spaces rental for artists who need space for their creative work; it offers support with administrative tasks like visa applications; it provides legal advice regarding copyright issues; it helps with fundraising campaigns etc., all aimed at supporting artists' careers so they can focus on creating new works without worrying about logistical challenges.

Finally yet importantly CND places great emphasis on education outreach efforts aimed at introducing young people from diverse backgrounds to the world of dance through artistic projects developed specifically for them by professional artists working alongside teachers in schools across France.

In conclusion Centre national de la danse (CND) is an essential institution within France's cultural landscape that plays a vital role in promoting awareness about this beautiful art form while providing invaluable resources and support services designed specifically for those working within it professionally or simply enjoying it recreationally.
