Proud that if it is a nuclear plant in the first place it threatens the ecological life of the entire coast and the second if that mother suffers an accident it would end up with whole populations in that area.
Better to start building a more environmentally friendly source of energy

Pesima. The plant is not qualified to keep operating. It should be disabled, because the risk of accidents is high. It works with a MARK II reactor, which is unstable.
It represents an announced catastrophe.

Nuclear energy is a wonder of humanity, not only does it harm the environment much less, it is more effective than the energy produced by coal.
The only thing that gives me a sense of nervousness is that I don't think they are prepared for a "meltdown" since their team is not up to date.

A plant with the highest standards

A plant with the highest standards
Everyone is working at all times and are aware of the proper functioning of the plant.
For the same type of enriched uranium they use, in case of an accident it would not cause a reaction as big as they think
In addition to providing 4% of the country's electricity

I went to the information center and made the tour offered, I thought it was an excellent experience and I learned more about its processes. I know someone who has been working in the facilities for 20 years and I think there is a lot of prejudice about the issue of nuclear energy.

It is the largest power generation plant in all of Mexico; He has received international awards for quality and environmental care; It employs thousands of people and has contributed significantly to the development of nearby towns. It is a pride for both the state of Veracruz and the Federal Electricity Commission

It seems excellent to me that there are multiple energy sources in Mexico. The only problem I find is that people believe that nuclear energy is very harmful, basically they have demonized this type of energy without knowing that with the correct management it could be the least harmful, of course. below the hydroelectric but less harmful than the thermal (I know I am missing a couple of accents but I don't know how to put them)

Mexico has the ability to make nuclear weapons because it is rich in uranium enough to kill the planet several times, but the US asked Mx leaders to deliver the uranium. Of course, a nuclear plant is a risk but we can have our own technology.

This plant demonstrates does not demonstrate the Mexican potential in terms of handling Thorium, Uranium and Plutonium, curiously purchased in Russia. The plant was designed by Russians and currently there are advisers of the same nationality who control the most important functions here.

About Central Nuclear Laguna Verde

Central Nuclear Laguna Verde: Providing Safe and Reliable Energy for Mexico

Central Nuclear Laguna Verde (CNLV) is a nuclear power plant located in the state of Veracruz, Mexico. It is the only nuclear power plant in the country and plays a crucial role in providing safe, reliable, and affordable energy to millions of Mexicans.

The CNLV was commissioned in 1985 and has been operational since 1990. It has two pressurized water reactors that generate a combined output of 1,600 megawatts (MW) of electricity. This is enough to power around 4 million homes or meet approximately 4% of Mexico's total electricity demand.

One of the key advantages of nuclear energy is its low carbon footprint. Unlike fossil fuels such as coal or natural gas, nuclear energy does not emit greenhouse gases that contribute to climate change. This makes it an attractive option for countries looking to reduce their carbon emissions and transition towards cleaner sources of energy.

However, safety concerns have always been associated with nuclear power plants due to their potential for accidents or radiation leaks. The CNLV takes these concerns very seriously and has implemented numerous safety measures to ensure that its operations are safe for both workers and the surrounding community.

For example, the plant has multiple layers of physical barriers designed to prevent any release of radioactive material into the environment. It also has an emergency response plan in place that includes regular drills and exercises involving local authorities and emergency services.

In addition to safety measures, CNLV also prioritizes environmental protection by implementing sustainable practices such as recycling waste materials generated during its operations.

Despite these efforts towards safety and sustainability, there have been some controversies surrounding CNLV over the years. In particular, there have been concerns about its location near seismic zones which could potentially increase the risk of earthquakes or other natural disasters affecting its operations.

However, despite these challenges, Central Nuclear Laguna Verde remains an important source of clean energy for Mexico's growing economy. Its contribution towards reducing carbon emissions cannot be overstated as it helps Mexico meet its commitments under international climate agreements such as the Paris Agreement.

In conclusion, Central Nuclear Laguna Verde plays a vital role in providing safe and reliable energy for millions of Mexicans while also contributing towards global efforts against climate change through low-carbon electricity generation. Its commitment towards safety measures ensures that it operates responsibly while minimizing any potential risks associated with nuclear power plants.
