I had Chemical Stress Test done 2/23/2021 and was pleased with staff. There was no wait time and gentlemen who administered test (Jasson & Kevin) were very professional and compassionate. Also the nurse who assisted them was just as professional. KUDOS to this team and many thanks!!!

This isn't meant to be a medical history of myself, I just want to paint a picture. I "had" to have a cardiologist evaluation to be approved for surgery after I was told during a pre op ekg that I had had a heart attack. I decided to drive almost two hours away to see Dr. Dorogy because he was my Papa's cardiologist for as long as I can remember and kept his heart ticking after numerous surgeries and procedures for years. I'm glad I drove the extra miles to see him! The office was clean, the staff was super nice, he was just as I remembered him years ago, and soon as he walked in he said "I'm sorry to have wasted your time. Your heart is fine. The leads were put on backwards." I was so stunned I could barely talk. He proceeded to tell me how he knew and drew me a little picture of what it would look like had it been a heart attack and explained in detail how he knew it was backwards leads. He was very thoughtful, polite and thorough the whole time he was with me. He listened to my heart and even made small talk about dinosaurs which I felt kept the mood light. I don't know about you but being told I had a heart attack at some point and knowing it runs in my family was very nerve wrecking. Lol. He also had a med student (I think she was) with him. She was quiet and attentive to what he was saying. She didn't say anything but took notes. Having her in the room didn't make me feel like I was being talked about in front of myself if that makes any sense. I was in the hospital once and had a group of med students come in yapping over me instead of to me, very aggravating lol I didn't have to wait long at all when I arrived, the waiting room was clean and the lady at the window was very sweet. I can't say enough good things about Dr. Dorogy and his team. It's not because I was lucky enough to get good news but because he is a very down-to-earth man and I have always seen him treat his patients with kindness and respect no matter the outcome. I highly recommend him for all of your cardiological needs. Also, a little more comforting is knowing their office is right down the road from the hospital so if something is wrong you literally just have to cross the street.
Showed up for my apt on time, yet sat in the (full) waiting room for 1 hour. Was told by the reception staff that it was normal. I ended up spending close to 4 hours at CGHC for what was a pretty straightforward assessment. Due to my high deductible plan, I ended up covering the full expense of this ordeal while no one ever suggested to pay for my time of waiting.
