The heat went off, likely due to a brief power flicker. We used the emergency line. Jamie was able to talk us through resetting the furnace over the phone by disconnecting and reconnecting the power panel. My mother-in-law is now nice and warm again, quickly.
Great experience front to back, but especially in the middle. Our project was an old house with no hvac, and an old gas boiler. The team did a great job of removal, and an exceptional job was done by Danny's crew. They installed ductwork spanning 3 floors, with lots of challenging bends and limited access. They always left the work site clean each day, and were very respectful of our space. Great job guys.

In a word -Excellent. Jonathan was knowledgeable and very helpful. He gave us the best Home Energy Audit that we've ever had. He covered nearly all aspects of our energy usage -heating system, upgrading of lighting with LED bulbs, attic insulation, air leakage into attic, etc.
He also left us with a novel new power strip that enables the TV to automatically shut off the ancillary components such as the cable box, VCR, and CD player -only one click on the remote needed to shut everything connected to the TV off.
Had issue with the first floor heating unit again and called Central Heating and Cooling. They sent Stefano out within an hour and helped our heat back on again. He made recommendations on what needs to be done to improve our system and safety measures. 5 stars for his service!!
I called early morning to make a yearly maintenance appointment. The woman I spoke with was very helpful and made the appointment for the same day.
The service tech was very professional and knowledgeable. He completed the service and advised me of the advantages of a service agreement. Looking at the information he left with me I believe it is a good value. When he left the unit is functioning tip top and clean as a whistle.

Chad was with us EVERY step of the way from initial consultation and estimate to the final day of the installation. He's super knowledgeable and has the communication skills to help you understand what you want or need to know. He's as honest as the day is long. Conscientious and always available. He will bring your job in on time and the work will be superlative. If you're looking for an HVAC guy, look not further.
I had a failure of the most recent of my 4 HVAC unit (a Carrier Infinity system) and first they replaced the air handler motor for a fairly exorbitant price, then it turned out the controller board was not work and they replaced that for an additional very substantial fee and now I'm being told that an additional relay is broken and they'll have to charge me even more for that additional repair. On another occasion they "serviced" my units and left the power to one of the four units off at the air handler. I'm going to be looking for another company to service my units and I recommend everyone else do so too.
UPDATE: Central Cooling & Heating worked on righting this wrong in a very professional manner and I can now say that I am satisfied with the service.
There may be better installers somewhere, but I doubt it. Both Dan and his colleague were GREAT. They were very patient with all my questions and did a top notch job! They deserve a BONUS.

Chad was our project manager. He and his team did a great job meeting our objectives. We have an older colonial, wanted to install central ac without it changing the look of the house. Central Cooling and Heating installed an Aprilaire Basement Dehumidifier system. The overall experience from estimating the effort through installation and final testing was excellent. Not only was it a pleasant experience, the workmanship, professionalism, and customer service-oriented support were all top notch. They put a good amount of effort into thoughtfully designing how to install the system and it is working great. The basement is already noticeably fresher after just a day. I recommend them highly! They also left the work site spotless and were conscientious about keeping the rest of the house clean and minimizing the disturbance to others in the house while performing their work.

I've used Central Cooling & Heating for annual maintenance and insulation work. They're fantastic! When you call, you always get a human being at the central office, and they're polite and responsive. The technicians show up promptly, do great work, and keep your home clean by wearing protective covers over their work boots (seriously, it's a small thing but it makes a world of difference to me).
The annual service contracts are very reasonable, and contract customers get priority, which is awesome.
For twice-annual tuneups on our HVAC equipment, Luis and David have both been fantastic, giving good advice and making sure our systems (installed by another, less responsive company we no longer bother with) are in good order. I only wish we'd had them install our equipment in the first place.
For insulation work, Corey and team were great about assessing our home, providing recommendations, and working on the fly when it turned out some of our walls already had insulation.
These folks are easy to get ahold of, easy to work with, and unfailingly polite and awesome at their work. I can't say enough great things about them.

Both David and Robert provided outstanding service on Sunday and Monday , November 10th and 11. I don't know who came on Sunday, but he diagnosed the issue and let me know a piece would need to be ordered. The person that came on Monday installed that piece and then realized that another piece also neede to be replaced. He then drove to pick that piece up, drove back and installed it. He stayed with the job until 7pm. It was all superb!
Great tuneup of my two AC systems last week from Stefano. He is very knowledgeable and took the time to investigate the quirks of my aging system and explain how it was running to me.

I ve had my run ins with many companies (Not just AC)that don t follow through and don t do the right thing by customers. Service is just not what it used to be, everyone always cutting corners. Not Central AC!! From start to finish, they were on top of EVERYTHING from the start. From my very first call into the company and speaking to the woman at the front (audrana) to scheduling, follow through, and then the day of providing clear communication of when the tech would arrive. All was spot on and professional. Then the tech, Joe Lachance, was extremely knowledgeable, PATIENT, Answered all questions and Was honest. Zero pressure to do anything and provided options to remain cost effective while also getting the job done right. He was awesome and just an A+ company and experience overall. Highly recommend!!

Our main heating system went down late Monday morning, Jan. 22. Even though Monday was a holiday, Central Cooling and Heating managed to squeeze in an appointment the same day with their tech person David Gaunt. Jamie even called to tell us David was on the way just before she went home around 5:30pm. David Gaunt arrived at 6:10pm at the end of a 12 hour day! Even with such a grueling schedule, he was polite, friendly and and got our main furnace up and running in about 45 minutes. We also got excellent advice from David about what to do about our aging heating system going forward.
Vlas did my annual heating tune-up this morning. Excellent experience. The work area was left clean and he was friendly and professional. I'd love him to come back to do the next one.

I have been the customer of Central Cooling for 36 years. and installation of a new AC was completed on time as scheduled. The installation included all items as quoted and every detail looks good except one item. The condenser unit outside is next to an other condenser unit
and the orientation of he two units is not the same. The recently installed condenser shows pipes and the service side towards the patio while the other unit, installed last year, faces the service side away from the patio and it looks more pleasing while sitting on the patio.
Andrew and Bruce got my furnace up and running on schedule with the exact parts and labor they had recommended. I especially want to thank Andrew for his quick diagnosis, assurance, and instruction during his initial inspection. I was initially a little skeptical given his youth, but he quickly gained my confidence through his professionalism and attention to details. Most importantly, he took the time to carefully explain everything to me and listen thoughtfully to all of my questions. This was in stark contrast to other contractors who visited before him, who charged me ~$150 to tell me in 5 minutes that my entire furnace needed to be replaced without running a single diagnostic.
