I can't really say good or bad about the Dr's because I never got to meet them. I tried to call 4 or 5 times and I left 2 voicemails in the end of February looking to make an appointment. No one called me back. I am shocked I couldn't get through to anyone. I definitely let my referring physician know. They offered to get in touch with someone but I told them it was to late I am working with another practice. I told them what good is an office that NEVER answers the phone or calls people back.
Terrible. I WISH I HAD LISTENED TO THESE REVIEWS! Horrible!! I was told my surgery would be in January... it s May and I never got a date. I completed everything that was asked of me and even paid a deposit for the surgery. The bariatric coordinator was rude to me for months and I just put up with it because I wanted the surgery so badly. The last I heard my surgeon was doing too many breast surgeries to fit me in. When I asked for my money back they did absolutely nothing to try to keep me on. I swear to god I have been nothing but polite to these people. They just refunded the money and said see ya. I am devastated. I wasted NINE MONTHS trying to get a surgery that they had no intention of performing. Now I m back at square one.
Wish I had read the reviews BEFORE I spent so much time and money with these people. I came here because I have had three previous surgeries by Dr Hoxworth. He is a wonderful person and surgeon, but since he has retired there is absolutely NO reason to put your trust in these incompetent and uncaring people. You will never be able to reach anyone by phone, and it s a waste of time to leave them voicemails. A member of their staff admitted to me that they don t listen to voicemail because there are too many of them! I ve never come across a medical practice that is run so poorly or where the staff care any less about their patients.
They treat people terribly. Notice how many of the reviews say the same thing. It s not a coincidence! These people really do not care about anyone. They do not answer phones and they do not return phone calls. Especially Christie Moore. Call Novant or Baptist, you will be treated so much better and it will take a fraction of the time to be treated.
They seem to care more about the money you owe them vs your personal health. Dr. Thomson will not hold to his word and you can expect not to hear back from them for months following a major surgery.
I'm completely shocked by all of the negative reviews. Dr. Like Kinsinger and all of the associates here at Central Carolina Surgery have been my life savior's. My journey started 4 years ago when I went to the Hospital thinking I had a stomach infection or food poisoning. It turned out to be the bypassed stomach that I had done in 2005 had filled with blood and became necrotic. It sent me into septic shock and basically killed me. Barely clinging to life Dr Kinsinger and his associates quickly diagnosed the issue and we're able to save my life after 2 long and intensive surgeries. He has also successfully diagnosed an issue with my gall bladder and was able to remove it again saving my life. My family and I are eternally grateful for Dr Kinsinger and his associates at Central Carolina Surgery I'm not sure what occured to others who have gone to the practice but I ask kindly that you not rate the practice on their office staff or issues beyond the surgeons control. Each of the associates are caring and excellent in their field. I wouldn't care if they had the rudest or unfriendliest office staff in history. I know personally that each Surgeon/Doctor there have been nothing short of miraculous and caring to me.
I had a FANTASTIC experience with this office. Everyone was super helpful and the Surgeon, Dr Gherkin, was phenomenal. I highly recommend this office. The entire staff is amazing and I'm very happy with my experience.
Wow ! Where to start.... they 100% don t care about patients! They harass the patients & their focus is money only, they even harass cancer patients. There is clear discrimination - management hates each other and it s ran as if it s 3 separate businesses. I will leave this this review for future patients (not future employees) if you need surgery - go somewhere else! They don t tell patients when they are out of network & then stick them with outrageous bills, They don t try to work with the patients, they are gloomy environment and are not kind or friendly. Every bad review you see is 100% true. Oh wait no , if you are friends with the doctors then they let the billing department write off your bill or mark it as comp care oh & if you try to make payment arrangements, management will google your house to determine if you should get it or not! Also nothing is private. If you Go to the hospital The medical records department will google you, look at your Facebook & get into your personal info just to see who you are! Very very unprofessional- check indeed for a more detailed review
Treat patients as if they were just objects. No personality from the staff and doctors. Doctors don't keep their word and will not contact you for months following a major surgery.
I wouldn t take a flea here for any type of service. Most incompetent office staff and doctor (Dr. Chelsea Conner) I have ever dealt with in my life. Please seek care elsewhere!
