With over 50 members from across Europe and beyond, Centr provides a forum for exchange of information and best practices among ccTLD registries. Its members include national domain name authorities, registry operators, and other organizations involved in managing country code top-level domains.
Centr's mission is to promote the development of ccTLDs as an essential part of the global internet infrastructure. It works closely with other organizations such as ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers), IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority), and regional Internet registries to ensure that ccTLDs are managed in a transparent, accountable manner.
