Centerpoint Legacy Theater - Leishman Performance Hall Review

Been here many times for shows which are always amazing. This time I attended an event in the smaller theater. It was a great location! Lovely event.

We saw Cash on delivery! First time here it was a cute little theatre! I will definitely go back! Fun for family night!

The building is beautiful. Small but well proportioned. I visited for the first time to see Aida. What an amazing performance! I must admit I did not expect such mastery from a small town theater. I will be returning.

We absolutely LOVE CenterPoint! Every production that we ve been to has exceeded our expectations. The talent is always spectacular and the theatre itself is fantastic. It s always well taken care of and clean and the staff is always helpful. The kids academy classes are so amazing and well worth the time and money to have your kids involved. We can t say enough good things about CenterPoint!

Centerpoint is a very high quality theatre, you won't be disappointed.

We love coming to performances here! We decided to purchase season tickets for our parents to join us. We will look forward to stopping by the snack bar as well.
The shows are wonderfully choreographed and the actors and actresses are talented. I must admit that many of the plays are on the heavy side. I much prefer when they do lighthearted comedy. But, all of the performances are well done and we will continue to purchase season tickets.
We also have made the fairytale festival a yearly tradition. Our grandchildren love all the activities and getting their pictures taken with all the characters.

It was a very nice theater but I felt the acting was not very professional. I think if they invested more in their costumes and tried to be more traditional, I would be more interested in returning.

What a fun night out. The actors are great. Very well done.

It is a very nice theatre. Most of the plays are good. They do a good job. It's definitely not Broadway. Sometimes they will have a really good show other times they will not. It is a very comfortable large theatre. There are plus size seats available. There is a balcony view and s floor view. It is easy to spot from the road. You will easily know what plays they are doing and when. They have a small theatre there as well. They also hold special events that are really fun. They do lessons for singing and acting as well.

Went to the production elf, and it was amazing. We sat towards the top and it was pretty hot, but besides that, the play and actors were excellent.

High quality performances at a reasonable price. Would highly recommend. I ve attended 4 plays there, knowing absolutely nothing out 3 of them, and have not been disappointed.

Centerpoint always puts on a great show. Best entertainment value, we usually goes once a month and have never been to a bad show. Keep up the good work

Went and saw Nunsense recently and it was PHENOMENAL! The talent and production is always fantastic at Centerpoint. The women in this particular show were absolutely incredible! They were made for the roles and had the audience completely enthralled. We enjoy every single production we've ever been to at Centerpoint and are always blown away by the talent, sets, designs and atmosphere!

We love going to plays at this theater. The staff is always happy to help. The plays are very fun and entertaining and the price is very affordable.

I was blown away by the quality of this show! I loved this performance of My Fair Lady, the actors were phenomenal and the sets were impressive and I had a great evening with my husband. Thank you!

I just went and saw My Fair Lady! It's a tough show to do, but the vocals were phenomenal! The facial reactions of each cast member was enthralling. As always, Centrepoint has been my safe haven. Such a comforting atmosphere. I can't wait to be back!

Enjoyed A Christmas Carol very much. Professional cast, professional costumes and staging. Great show, very nice theatre!

Saw The Hunchback of Notre Dame last night and it was incredible. Sets, costumes and actors were great! Loved the headless statue! Took my mom and now she wants to know what we are seeing next!!

Had a chance to take my mom, the teacher, to see The 25th Annual Putnam Spelling Bee last night. It was fun and we had some good laughs. The character of the vice principal is worth the show. He delivers the dry lines so well. The cast was great! Go see it!!!

Just saw Nunsense tonight! The 5 women in it were incredible. Loved how they really played their characters, all the way through! Always great to have a night full of laughs. CenterPoint does a wonderful job and such a nice facility! Thanks for a fun night with my mom!

Our 5th Season! Every Valentines Day I buy season tickets to Centerpoint and have never been disappointed! We enjoy quality local talent and nationally rented costumes for a great night out! Whether in the balcony or on the floor, all the seats give a great view and their sound system is great too!
Surprise! The stage floor does things you'd never imagine could happen!

I took my 7 year old daughter here to see My Fair Lady, and we both had a good time! The cast did a great job! I would definitely come back here to see another production.

Their productions are always very high quality and always entertaining and their actors are always really good, their seats are comfortable, they're snackbar is great, the prices are fair.

The show was very good. I liked the professional look of the whole theatre. The seats were comfy. I found a high pitched whine permeated the auditorium though. It was sightly off putting.

This place is amazing. The actors are amazingly talented and these shows are of the quality of Hale Center Theatre. I love it.

We took guests to CenterPoint last night (14 Mar) and could not pass up the opportunity to compliment you on the performance of The Sound of Music!. We have been season ticket-holders for some time now and really enjoy your productions.
In my book, last night's performance was one or your very best!! I thought that Fiddler was really, really good but last night's production of the Sound of Music was truly exceptional.
When we heard the list of actor substitutions, I was a little worried. Would everything become a little disjointed? But Not to Worry. The actors fit their characters sooo well, especially Maria! That role was a great fit for a great voice and great acting. Many of the characters were so well done (including the children and the nuns) and we enjoyed becoming part of the play, singing Eidelweiss right along with Capt Von Trapp and Maria.
As usual, your crews succeeded magically well with scenery, props and lighting. We are glad to be season ticket holders. Thanks for a great evening!

My Fair Lady last night at CPT was great fun! It s been a minute since we went to a show, but they never disappoint here! The vocals were phenomenal and costumes amazing!!

We had an excellent time at the CenterPoint Legacy Theatre when we watched Peter and the Starcatcher. The experience was made all the better on account of the superb facilities. Comfortable seating, clean surfaces, and a decent amount of space between the next person made for an enjoyable setting.

I went and saw Nunsense. It was so good! Sister Mary Amnesia was my favorite! If you haven t seen it I highly recommend it!!

It is a beautiful facility with wonderful acoustics. Accessibility is somewhat of an issue, not because it is missing, but poorly marked. I used stairs to access the auditorium, only to discover there was an accessible entrance, but further away.

Although some of their shows are relatively sub-par, some of their shows are fantastic. Recently, their productions and actors have significantly improved. I would say Hale Center Theatre has better productions, but at a higher price tag.

CPT is a beautiful theater that gives everyone in the community a chance to be on stage. The talent is always phenomenal and the staff is friendly and kind. Everyone should be supporting this theater and local arts!

@centerpointtheatre you did it again. I give Holiday Inn It was like watching a Hallmark movie (with more singing and dancing ) and I Looved it! If you have time it s definitely a fun one to see!

We love the performances here. Yes, some are better than others but that is because some appeal to us more than others do. Overall they are all very professional and enjoyable to see. So glad we have such a place close by.

Saw a kids nmusical production. Incredible! Staff did an amazing job preparing the kids for the show.

My husband and I just went to see "5 Carols" and "Jingle Jacks" Saturday night at CenterPoint Theater in Centerville. It was a delightful experience. Some of the music was original and some was based on traditional Christmas melodies. Either way, the songs were fun, funny, and also beautiful and spirited. The actors and singers were top notch.
This production is double cast, but I am sure the other cast members are as talented as the ones we saw on Saturday. Jingle Jacks might appeal to a younger audience while the 5 Carols, set in the 50's might be aimed at those of us who lived through that time period. But anyone of any age would have a great, but intimate theatrical experience. The number about decorating your bomb shelter for Christmas was absolutely more clever and more unique than anything I have heard. The beautiful Celtic (?) number at the beginning of Jingle Jacks was almost too pristine and lovely to take place in a log cabin. Be prepared to enjoy a varied musical smorgasbord.
I for one, would like to see this production done at Christmas Time somewhere in Salt Lake or Utah Counties every year. It is a gem.

Centerpoint is the ideal when it comes to community theater. I am continually amazed at the level of talent, the quality and hard work that goes into every production. We are so fortunate to have this beautiful theater in our community.

Centerpoint Legacy Theatre produces average quality productions year round. With quality seating arrangements, stage capabilities, and immense funding the productions are often bland and lacking. The atmosphere implies quality, but the productions say otherwise. The theatre begs for funding before the show, then lists its thousands of dollars worth of donors. The talent often fluctuates by cast/show and production staff. Overall average quality productions.

We LOVE Centerpoint Theater!!! We have seen several plays here over the years and we are always impressed by the talent!! It is an intimate theater with not a bad seat in the house. Our kids have been a part of the Academy classes and performances here over the past few years and it has truly been the best activity for our kids to be involved in!! We are so glad to have Centerpoint as part of our community!!

The production was far above what one would expect from Community Theater. The venue is gorgeous and there is not a bad seat in the house. Even the last row of the balcony had good sight lines and was close enough to enjoy facial expressions.

This place is fantastic! I highly recommend taking your family to see a show. The staff and owners were gracious enough to take our orchestra kids through on a tour.

ALWAYS enjoy the productions here! Have yet to be disappointed with the props, music and actors! We have had season tickets for several years. Love it!

Seriously there really isn't a bad seat at this place. Even if you are on the upper floor you can still see the stage very well (but we do prefer the bottom floor about 4-5 rows back). You'd have to see it to know what I mean. The casts are always so talented and we've seen some pretty fun plays here. Every usher who has helped us to our seats has been very kind and pleasant to us and the building is nice, modern, and clean. I'd definitely recommend this place!
