This company has seriously disappointed me. I have a provider that has misdiagnosed me and left me in agony for 3 months. I have called 3 times asking to change providers and told no there is years wait. I feel like I have been thrown under the bus. I hate this insurance.

Cencal is a monetary driven corp that puts $$$ > patients. Read up on their brilliant plan to shift all their high risk patients to Blue Shield...just google Blue Shield v Cencal, the Santa Barbara Independent has a nice report on it. Then skim their corporate minutes...truly diabolical when profit out weighs people. Fark Cencal, and Fark Trump too!
Provider choices are very minimal and the customer service is unhelpful.
They have bent over backwards to help us. Friendly and courteous phone staff.
Terrible place I had insurance with them for almost a year cause I had SSI I got as full time job and 7 months later my doctor told me that they canceled my insurance cause I hot a full time job At least have the decency to call the person or email them and let them know that 3rd ending your insurance so you can find and new insurance or alternate insurance but no wort ever they suck
Most unethical insurance company I have seen so far. Disenrolled a patient because it was expensive to cover the patient after we already accepted the patient. Never doing business with them again
