CEED does an amazing job of supporting and informing new entrepreneurs. The staff is well informed and easy to work with.

Pointless. They didnt even bother reading my business plan, obviously. Their amateur comments were addressed in the body of the plan. They are completely out of touch with the market in Halifax.
They left a bad taste in my mouth. I felt as though they were being unfair because of their support of other businesses in my market. They didnt want me to open my store for fear that I would be a threat to their other "ceedlings "

Great experience people ro help with moving forward with a creating business plan

A good idea but was executed poorly when I was in the program and 7 years ago.

Was a very informative and teaching orientation. I Left with more than I arrived with.

When he cannot keep his promise, all he did is ignore your email, phone call and blame customer who paid money.

Small business have nightmares about organizations like CEED. They refuse all requests for milestone-based payments, take months to respond to emails, and flat out refuse to pay for invoiced work. They are the subject of at least one arbitration for their staggeringly unethical business practices.

Yet they claim to support small businesses! Do not work with them or request a grant from them under any situation. The government should abolish these parasites.
