Cedar Pond Farms Review

CedarPondFarms is a beautiful venue for weddings, family reunions, and even corporate events. Shawn is very thoughtful and detail oriented in the way he has designed areas to provide space to make memories and capture photos. He is very personable and easy to work with. The venue has 15 possible sites for activities and events. The pond provides a beautiful backdrop and is stocked with catfish. The #Milk Barn sleeps approximately 12 while the #Fish House sleeps 3. This makes it easy for bridal parties who want to be on site early in the morning and for small corporate retreats. If you are looking for a peaceful, natural venue with lots of amenities (tables and linens come with the venue, blue tooth is available in the #MilkBarn, and parking accommodates up to three hundred people to name a few), CedarPondFarms is a must see.

This place is AMAZING! We had a mini prom here and Shawn Wilmoth the owner was so supportive and helpful. This made a great memory for the Class Of 2020, since they didnt get to have their prom at school. The farm itself is beautiful with so many areas to take pictures and the barn is absolutely gorgeous!!

Great location and set up for variety of functions. Owners are very accommodating to all needs. Plenty of lovely areas to hang out, awesome game room and plenty more. Would definitely recommend.

Such a beautiful venue! They have everything you could hope for when it comes to planning a great party- from a guys game room to the exquisite barn dance floor. This is hands down my favorite event location! I will be suggesting this spot to everyone I know. Check them out!

We stayed at the Milk Barn on the Cedar Pond Farm for a family, COVID friendly vacation and what an amazing vacation! From the design and flow of the Milk Barn itself to the breathtaking views of the grounds. Shawn, the host, could not have been more responsive, friendly or helpful. There was no shortage of activities for the kids. We initially planned to do multiple boating days on both Cherokee Reservoir and Douglas Lake, but the kids had so much fun on the farm that we only went boating one day. The property was boasting with photo opportunities with the beautiful views and well manicured grounds. If you are planning to have a wedding here, you will be forever happy with the photo memories of a lifetime. We had 8 guests staying on the property with plenty of space for everyone and the kids had so many options for sleeping each night. Plenty of space indoors to relax and watch TV or play in the game room, but we could not keep ourselves from being outside as much as possible. We loved hiking the grounds, playing with the chickens and feeding the animals everyday. The farm fresh eggs were the highlight of the trip for the kids. Watching the cattle roam on the hillside while fishing on the lake was one of my personal favorite activities. The kids enjoyed swimming in the pond and fishing. There were multiple grills for a great cookout and the market was only minutes away. We definitely had to stop by the Gelato Brothers on our trips to the store for some delicious one of a kind gelato. I could continue raving about our fantastic vacation, but long story short - Amazing, fun filled, relaxing, MUST DO vacation. We will definitely be returning soon. Our 4 year old cried when we had to leave and asked Shawn several times if we could stay forever.

We attended a wedding at the barn. Initially the event was scheduled to be held outside, but due to the rain, it was moved indoors. Everything was just as great inside as it could have been outside. Definitely a beautiful venue.

Cedar Pond Farms is an all occasions venue! Its more than just weddings... It can accommodate small, medium, or large groups, too! I highly recommend Cedar Pond Farms for company gatherings like Thanksgiving & Christmas dinners!

This venue is perfect for photos and cozy place to take in nature with the pond and barn. Ducks and quiet view.. Very romantic and peaceful

I can't say enough about the this place, my friends and I stayed at the Milk Barn for a long Holiday weekend and it was absolutely amazing , I didnt want to leave. The property is breathtaking and peaceful.

We utilized this space for a professional staff retreat. It is in a beautiful location, with tons of open space. The owners were very gracious and accommodating. I would highly recommend it for any event, large or small!

From my point of view, as a photographer, it is an ideal venue for photography events as well as for the individual photographer. And, affordable!

From an old barn to a modern "dorm" to relax and sleepover, CPF offers it all!

Our place is great for weddings and large events. Fishing from the pond is great fun and we now even have an overnight milkbarn that sleeps 20 folks. This is great for a wedding party the night before or after the wedding. Make your next event here a the farm. (Family reunions and large corporate picnics are great too).

I absolutely love this place I had my wedding ceremony, and felt in love with the view and the barn itself so beautiful. I totally recommend this place for your special day.

We were looking for a wedding venue for October 2018. Once we toured this place nothing else compared. It was expecially ice that they offer over night stays for the wedding party. They have a house for the bride and her attendants, a groomsman sleeping quarters and a little house at the pond for the groom and best man. The surrounding views are beautiful. I can't wait until the wedding. It will be beautiful!!

We have had the privilege of working as photographers at Cedar Pond Farms several times and have always had a wonderful, pleasant time with owner Shawn and full use of his beautiful grounds and event facilities. The Milk Barn and White Barn are very comfortable, beautiful and perfect for any wedding or event and Shawn makes being at Cedar Pond Farms a pleasure. Highly recommend this wonderful venue!

Cedar Pond Farms is an incredible venue! Just wanted to say what an amazing venue this is to host a wedding, a reception, a reunion, or an overnight getaway. My family rented this amazing and picturesque venue for our precious Daughter's wedding. Shawn was incredible to work with- very accommodating to let us come several times prior to the wedding to take measurements and to get inspired creatively. Our wedding was outside by the pond, followed up with a beautiful reception in the barn. Everything was magical, and everything I could have dreamed of for my daughter.
So if you are considering renting this venue- go for it. It is worth the investment!

The farm is located in a very scenic area and is a very peaceful place to be. Mr. Wilmoth is easy to get along with and a very accommodating host. The pond is stocked with large healthy catfish that provide an exciting and successful place to fish. Would definitely recommend.
